This man was epic! He and his Warhammer cosplay buddies were the stars of the con on Saturday during Otakon 2019. Jeremy's attention to detail was bonkers. The more I shot his cosplay, the more impressed I was with the many, many, many details. Sorry for the short interview but it was hard keeping the fans of this cosplay at bay.
Huge thanks as always to @otakon for allowing us to be press at the event and cover your wonderful community. Your con is the best con.

Why would anyone care to interview an Ultramarine bearing the Red Mark?
Still a great video and a SICK design.
@@vicstanfieldshire7754why not still looks cool.
@@brycemoscho286 it’s a reference to the original meaning of why they wore the red helms in the first place.
It was not originally a status that you would ever want, ESPECIALLY as a son of Guilliman.
Originally it was a mark of censure within the legion, you were essentially marked as a “naughty Ultramarine”
"How did you manage to get such flawless joint mobility?"
"I'm part of a team of scientists that make joint bearings for hard body space suits"
...was that the most casual flex in history?
SCIENCE !
This must be the first legitimate tech priest/tech marine of the mechanicum in real life. His work will one day be built upon for humanities expansion across the stars. When we get real Astartes, this man's work with shoulder joints will be the far distant past research that is the basis for that.

Space Marines have gotta be on the harder difficulty of cosplay for sure. Best Space Marine I've seen, the proportions are so good.
Otakon was full of insane cosplays that floored me. I miss that con and the community.

My friends. Soon we will have real Space Marine power armor
It’s happening. We won’t be alive for it but it’s happening
the advisor is potentially the emporer?
Literally took a rocket scientist to make this suit
The Omnissiah would be pleased
Dude who designs actual suits for astronauts also makes the best space marine cosplay. Who would have guessed that... :)
Dude happens to have the vibe of a Space Marine too.

This guys develops HARD SPACE SUITS for a living in real life.
He is officially the worlds first legitimate Tech Marine.
His work is bringing humanity closer to our birthright of crusading across and conquering the stars. Generations from now the engineers of the future will be building upon the work this man has done. He is writing history and helping to bring about the dominion of mankind in space. He really is one with the Emperor and the will of man.
Or, maybe he's just The Emperor, and to prove it, Chinese and Japanese do have one, once upon a time.
He can raise his arms. HE CAN RAISE HIS FUCKING ARMS!!! 10/10, that ball bearing system is a god damn feat of engineering!
You are a fantastic interviewer, my dude.
Yo, it's that guy that pretends he's a cat
Love your videos Gus
Gus how can you be as funny and talented as you are AND a 40k fan?
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
You are fantastic commenter, my Gus.
Using actual space-age engineering in his cosplay, the guy is just next level. When he will get a PhD he will probably make an actual suit of powered armor.
This is probably the best space marine suit out there to date.
Check him out on Instagram, his work is sensational.
I can only imagine how badass he must be feeling with that ultramarine suit on...
Not even that, I'm sure he feels damn near close to a demi-god.
There comes a point in cosplay where it's no longer a hobby, and it becomes an art. This is an example of when it becomes an art.
I interviewed him again a few weeks ago at Otakon. Subscribe so you don’t miss his newest cosplays and interview.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Dude put an actual space suit design into 40K power armor... This dude is going to be an Admech in real life 20 years from now.
This guy is the definition of 'combine your hobby and your job' 😂
Using space suit tech to make a space marine power armour suit. Oddly appropriate.
oh he's a spacesuit engineer so that makes sense.
If we find xenos, we know who to call
I’ve just seen the future for the ‘space force’...
Obviously this cosplay is on a whole other level but I'd just like to point out that this interviewer is fantastic at what he does. He asks great questions that allow room for good answers and he gives people the opportunity to selfpromote during the interview.
Wow. Thank you very much, that really means a lot to me. I'm happy you enjoy our work.
When the guy asked "what are you most proud of?"
I expected him to say "My chapter"
Damn he used actual space suit design to help with his cosplay. I hope to be as smart and creative as this guy one day

Neoth is coming out early, eh?
A 40K film costume needs to look AT LEAST this good. He nailed the proportions, the height, it looks accurate without looking cartoonish.
Henry Cavill should call him and to at least get some ideas I suppose :)
I love that this man found a way to show that big pauldrons can actually work in a way that allows full arm mobility
by using space age tech...
How'd you make the arm? "Im a rocket scientist"
"yeah actually my professor came up with this experimental research that I need for my space marine cosplay"
This guy is working on real life hard space suits thats friggin awesome.
Dude builds hard-shell pressure suit joint bearings IRL. Badass.
With this level of realism, thank god he cosplay as an Ultra Marine and not as a Night Lord
Holy crap a space marine cosplay with out the t.rex arms?! You nailed it!!!
i am so happy this man is helping engineer space suits. He is the first step to future space marines.
One of the most natural Space Marine cosplays I've seen, sometimes it looks like there's a tiny human in a giant armor but here the scale looks good.
As the first Space Marine cosplayer I’ve met and interviewed, I’m pretty sure I’m spoiled. Dudes work is amazing.
Beautiful cosplay, nice lengthy arms and long legs, not the ‘squat’ small arms plaguing some cosplay suits.
T-Rexxes will be jealous.
He nailed the height too 👀
My guy techincally used NASA technology to make this Space Marine armour :D
An actual space suit engineer built this sci-fi space suit.
Bruh if they have any control over the design of the suits, our Astronauts are going to be looking like Ultramarines when they go to the moon again.
With Space Force being a thing and a new Cold War/space race I’m sure they’ll be actual space Marines
I like how he took a design from a miniature model and up scaled it and got it to realistically fit an actual human being.
Dude an aerospace engineering grad student! Sci fi was absolutely my inspiration to pursue my degree! I’m so stoked he applied his technical research to his cosplay and combined his passions! - NASA Mechanical Engineer
I love how he's wearing cutting edge nasa tech as a space marine legend!
His boss is likely sitting there going "He is a walking test case and we don't even have to pay him to do it... PERFECT!"
You'd make Guilliman proud with that cosplay
Like my favorite part is the proportions are spot on, the scale of the head and pauldrons are near perfect 10/10
Agree.
Wow legit the best Warhammer cosplay I have seen. It looks and comes together so smoothly. He should feel very proud of his work.
Seriously impressive and I think he has got so much detail on the helmet without taking away from the rest of the armour. I think it is the best Space Marine cosplay I have seen.
He has nasa tech in his space marine suit.
The fact that he was able to take his experience with space suits to create an even better cosplay is amazing! Now I am excited to see a space marine suit cosplay in 10 years. Imagine the amount of progress other makers will go through in that time!
@seeni gzty go techmarine and he would never take his helmet off again!
It's pretty crazy this dude actually works on real life space suits and used those concepts where he could for the cosplay
TBH this is the best Space Marine cosplay I've seen so far
The fact that he's a grad and does actual suit simulations adds to the awesomeness of the suit texture and proportions, especially the shoulders).
Excellent interview. Questions, manners, body language, tone, allowing creator plugs with grace. Succinct and nicely paced in what looks to be a busy place!
Thank you very much!
I’ve interviewed A LOT of artists and musicians and it can be difficult to stay out of the way while also being a shameless fanboy of their work. This was succinct and well-executed. Good work.
It utterly kills me that random people can create these elaborate, model accurate, fully articulate 40k costumes... yet Hollyweird can't seem to find a way to create a 40k movie...
We really need a 40k movie, though there is supposedly a 40k tv show in the works based of the adventures of Inquisitor Eisenhorn, though the last news of it was back in like February of last year

Agree!
not only is he cosplaying as a Space Marine he's quite literally working on tech to create real Space Marines.
He has a long way to go besides using tech. I dont know about you, but I dont think the human race yet is excited to go through the body mutilation/"enhancement" process to become a space marine. If eugenics are considered inhumane, I dont think the UN is going to approve with modifying a living human to having 19 non organic gene-seed implants into the human body. 😂
@@kazukikamito5111 I don't think many leaders care what UN says and absolutely no country ever founded has or ever will obey the laws of the world (they may do so in public but in private they are all Emperor of Man in their own heads); the only thing stopping humanity becoming Imperium is that we are largely ignorant and don't work well together.. oh wait..
he must have powerful psychic ability huh
The sizing is perfect
Definitely a unique situation to be able to pretty much incorporate your job into a cosplay. Even though I generally think ultramarine pauldrons look dumb this dude did a phenomenal job
Dude that's freaking cool, I'd personally love a space wolves armour with a frost axe. He did such an amazing job, even the paint job is incredibly.
@@seagull3587 😅 nah man, I'm not a cool person. Frankly I didn't even realise that was a thing until I read the comments. And he is designing this for real hard-suits. That is talent.
Someone get that man a saxophone right now!!!!
Ah, a man of culture
Ill supply the land raider!
0:44, first the helmet, then the sword. I'm suspicious that the person interviewing Jeremy might be a Blood Raven in hiding.
But anywho, loved the armor! It's quite well detailed.
Bruh i cant believe this blood raven stole an ultramarine's armor.
These bearings shall be well maintained my dear angel, may your aim be guided by the Omnissiah himself
Lorewise, he is a Ultramarine Primaris. So technically, he's could've come from Terra, selected into Greyshields and put into stasis 10,000 years ago. Legiones Astartes were also technically from Terra and selected from all regions of the planet. So usually first born legiones astartes can be of different races not like natives chosen from the Primarches adoptive planet. So it wasn't surprising to see someone with blond hair and blue eyes in the White Scars during the start of the Great Crusade. Torghun Khan was originally Haren Svensellen and from Scandinavia in Terra. He changed his name to adopt the Khan's culture. Cosplay-wise, Jeremy can cosplay whoever he damn wants.
Damn right! And i am a fuckn word bearer agreeing to this.
Couldn't agree more! Torghun Khan is a great example to bring up too. His story was just amazing in Scars and Path of Heaven! Kudos to you dude
Also there 500 planets in realms of Ultramar. Many of which are most likely very similar to earth so there are bound to be different ethnicities in Ultramarines as well.
Best space marine suit I've seen. Paid attention to all the inter-workings while showing love to the art 10/10
He built the cosplay according to THE HOLY CODEX ASTARTES
our astronauts are gona be space marines soon
That has to be without a doubt the best space marine suit i have ever seen. Most look like they are made of foam. This, while probably incorporating alot of foam, looks like it is metal. Very well done. Sounds like he may be able to actually make a functioning suit if given enough time and money.
Joe, this suit has gotten me into the Warhammer universe. I'm three books in and have two games in my steam library backlog.

"Bearings for hard space suits" what looks simple on the outside turns out to be sophisticated stuff. No wonder they can't make a lot of the stuff in the grim dark future.
Well, that is rather more down to the Mechanicus having a lot of control over the production and development of things and, due to their dogmatism, they're not really much into developing things. Cawl is currently the only one that is shown to be willing to be a little bit of a heretic and developing things that humanity should have access to.
Guy: cosplaying primaris
Old’s: reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Only thing id say to improve it would be some service studs on the face or some small details like that. But when he wears the helmet its literly one of the best cosplays of a marine ive seen in a while.
I find service studs to not be good for cosplay in these suits since our heads are tiny by comparison and look kinda silly sticking out of the armor. Better to have a helmet. Also studs in-lore are falling out of practice.
