Shadow the Hedgehog actually has multiple non-cannon endings and routes to get to them, so that’s why they had the whole Groundhog Day situation going on
Ohhhhhhhh! That's clever.
It’s both a big selling point of the game, and one of its biggest flaws. It promotes itself as if you choose Shadow's destiny. After beating EVERY path the last story is unlocked, (the part where Black Doom/The Devil loses his shit) and it’s considered canon. Making the player’s choices meaningless.
Also, the Sonic Heroes scenes were integrated simply because that game's cutscenes don't have enough runtime for a standalone dub.

If I had a nickel for for every time in these dubs the main villain was driven to a mental breakdown by Shadow, I'd have three nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice.
Yeah if I'm correct, Shadow pissed on Eggman's wife causing Eggman himself to piss on the moon, he left Memphis Tennessee at the altar (not sure about that one haven't watched the 06 dub in a while) and he just ignored and disrespected the devil until he lost it.

And two of them were voiced by Chase. So there's another thing to add
33:00 in game the model is removed before the camera switches, hence they added a teleport sound effect for fun
Once again the villain knocks this one out of the park. I highly recommend their Spider Man and Sly Cooper Fandubs.
Bro all their fandubs are stupidly fun.
Of course the Sonic ones are the most iconic.
But just all of them are so hilariously good.
The “Is that an Alien?” Absolutely floored me the first time
Regarding the Sonic Heroes cutscenes, the reason they are in this fandub rather its own is because Sonic Heroes is a rather short game with extremely short cutscenes, so there wasn't a ton of stuff to work with.
Funnily enough, Sonic Heroes probably has the most voice lines out of any of the games due to all of the characters having their own reactions, dialogues, and explanations for the stage elements.
It's kind of weird how most of the dialogue is within gameplay and not in actual cutscenes...
They also managed to keep Metal Sonic out of it entirely, despite him being the true villain of Sonic Heroes.
@@DrSuperLuigiSeth1 To be fair, that's only revealed at the end of the game after beating every story (and during the best part of the intro song) and you can really only piece it together on a second playthrough.
25:00 nah, Alfred only voices president & eggman in this dub. The one who voices the general now voices Omega, and he does a great job at doing the same types of dialogue and vocal mannerisms
The Devil(TM)'s freakout at the end is great but this little interaction sends me everytime:

Charmy the Bee’s name isn’t canonically short for anything, but the joke that it’s short for Charlemagne (a.k.a. the famous historical figure) got started with their Sonic Destruction series.
This is honestly my favourite dub, even if it's not as 'iconic' as the SA2 and 06 ones.
35:30 if anyone is confused, this is a reference to their Sonic Riders Fandub.

I’m pretty sure they don’t show the hero’s cutscenes in the actual game but snapcube decided to put them in because sonic hero’s doesn’t have enough cutscenes to make a coherent enough story so they just mixed it with this one
Fantastic reaction!! They did a stream where they dubbed the first episode of Life Is Strange, that video is three hours long, after they were done dubbing it, they played a bit of Jackbox in the two hour mark i think. They edited the Life Is Strange dub and put it in one of the BTDubs videos.

Guns were a substitute for his Chaos Spear because it debuted in SA2 first and it is inaccessible (along with Chaos Control at start) until Devil Doom and Shadow basically suffered severe head tramau from fall causing the edgy & apathetic behavior and Shadow was still Super when he fell from space making him NEARLY indestructible. That's why they made decisions, not or not completely because Guns and Swearing were cool then Shadow 05 was & is an alternate timeline for aftermath of SA2 as you come to Rouge & Omega, not the opposite.
Also I honestly wish Black Doom was the Devil officially, I love the characterization over the original.

After all of these years this game is finally canon thanks to frontiers and idw comics including riders series
BTdubs are also pretty funny. Though, I wouldn't say they're on par with Snapcube's other fandubs. Though if you're still interested in checking them out, I'd most definitely recommend checking out episode 8 for it. In that one, they're basically dubbing and poking fun at some DharbMann videos. Yet the plots the y make up for them are so stupid, and yet just funny I was dying half-way through 🤣!
