In this guitar lesson we will look at a funky hybrid picking exercise. Hybrid picking is the use of your pick along with the rest of your picking hand fingers simultaneously.
Hybrid picking is used by countless players in all styles of music. Players like Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Brent Mason, Albert Lee, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, John 5 and others use this technique quite extensively.

@@telerooo5213thanks for reaching out. All is good. I know it’s been a while. Sometimes life gets in the way. I know I haven’t posted any videos in a long time but I think that’s about to change. I will say that stylistically my playing has changed a bit. I don’t do as much chicken pickin’ these days. You’ll see a little more pentatonic rock thrown in. But it’s still twangy. Hope you doing good!
