the end of this is great. interesting that even these pros that you’d assume are the most confident guys around end up having these self doubting thoughts too.
Cracker epidsode lads! Thank you for the back training insights, as I’m sure skip can attest to this… my back needs a WHOLE lotta work lol. I also appreciated Nate’s perspective when it comes to back programming!
Love the content guys. Nate is always a great addition super down to earth and knowledgeable. I know you guys said training critique are you willing to do physique critique as im definitely interested in getting some feedback.
For the incline bench: I don’t t get the hate without context. What is the person’s previous injury history? Myself I have two torn shoulder labrums and an old rotator cuff tear, so if i go any deeper I am in so much pain literally have a hard time lifting my arm at work. So yes, going deeper on paper in a vacuum makes sense for increased stretch, but there may be reasons why he isn’t. Rep control is great, his forearms are perfectly perpendicular to the floor, bracing and breathing is decent and better than most. To me bigger question is simply exercise selection - a traditional incline bench angle is really only best for those with a very steep sternum angle. If you have a vertical sternum angle then that’s basically a front delt movement. And kudos to him for having the balls to put this up, I’d like to see the haters show their incline bench sets.
5:42: Speaking as someone who had a rotator cuff injury caused by full range of motion wide grip bench presses and shoulder presses, I wouldn't criticize his range of motion out of hand. He is doing a decent range and he is BEING SAFE. If he were to hit his nipple, he would have to reduce the weight substantially or risk an injury or dangerous situation if he gets stuck and does not have a spotter standing by.
You made me google it because I thought you were serious. It seems to be that it should be pronounced "anna may." Whatever. I'm too old for this shit. lol
Hello people , Hope you'r doing well .i got a question about test . i want to now if test can make you sleepy , am on 500mg of test E and i am feeling sleepy like never befor , first i thor it was the carbs becaus i am bulking , but even wen i reduced the carbs i still feel the same . Big thanks ✌🏽
Skip looks like he’s got a nice view from his window there. Hey if you guys were coaching a kids basketball team what would you implement to prevent ankle injuries?
Getting ammonia smell after longer cardio sessions over 40 min nd if doing more overall during the week. In a calorie deficit. Is this muscle/protein breakdown ?
Used to train out of the same gym as the guy in the training critique. Los Campeones gym in Minneapolis Charles Griffen trains there too, but there are way better gyms in the area
@thatjordandudee the st paul and BC locations are pretty sweet man. IA in south metro isn't bad, but the new gym up in rogers kicks ass and is my personal favorite
Is their a single bodybuilder that’s not tighter and leaner than last time 😂 it’s funny if you think about it, every single guy that does a podcast says that
Always awesome when Nate is on 💯 appreciate y’all very much
I like Nates point about recruiting the back on the way down on t-bar row. It's a great feeling in the lats instead of dropping it
Hey that's me
“Dressed like a homeless person” damm jordel
How old are you?
Great episode

BUT WE WILL BE BACK TO WATCH THIS LATER TONIGHT!
LET’S HAVE A DAY!
Go get it man!! Good luck
HOPE GOES WELL MAN, IF NOT THEN STILL GOT A GOOD PODCAST TO WATCH
@ thanks man! I write it in two hours!
UPDATE! IT’S OVER! WE CAN FINALLY GO BACK TO JUST LIFTING AND EATING ALL WINTER BREAK!
I agree with Nate on back! Although I could do the reps with 7 plate deads. Higher reps many angles that’s how I built a very decent back.

John Meadows never went all the way to his chest on incline presses either by the way.
First, I wanna say Nate is the man. Second, he needs a better camera lol
LOL It's funny you mention this because at some point when he was talking, I was like, "This mother fucker needs to buy a better camera."
yea that was absolutely terrible but it does get better as we go
💪🏿

Debatable
Minneapolis! Ok cool. I always get MN and WI confused lol. I couldn't remember for sure which one he was in!

Yea I've been to almost all of them, I just think Franklin is a crowd I like more and I enjoy that more rustic feel
38:27 skip do you specifically target your teres and if you do, how?
I do, yes, with dumbbell pullovers.
Skip is OCD (one cool dude)
Gym/Tan/Laundry kinda bro 😎 GTL 4Life brah
@@kane6529 LOL !!
How talls that dude benching? His arms are probably immensely longer than the bulk of people’s so I get to why he doesn’t go all the way down
As I typed this you guys brought up his height 🤣
@@chrisneely3069 Well thats proof It was a good question worth asking

I don't get the reference. Who was it that said it?
And it's "there," not "their." You're welcome.
