My name is Nikki Blackketter! I live in Los Angeles, California currently, I moved here from Texas! I am a short human, a cat lover, and a total kid at heart. I make vlogs, try-on hauls, workouts etc that are mostly about fitness & weight lifting workouts and adventures with my roommate, friends, boyfriend, family, and cat / feline companion. They show how I balance being young, having fun, and being in a healthy relationship, with working out and making sure my diet and health is on point to keep a nice, toned figure.

So, my mother is an assistant manager at a Vitamin Shoppe and I just texted her while watching this video asking if she could send me the 2015 Supp. Guide as soon as it comes out. There's no VShoppe near where I live (or anything else for that matter), but there's no way I'm missing that! Way to go!! You deserve it for all your hard work! :D

I used to put 4-5 egg whites in a microwaveable bowl, add 1 scoop of choc casein protein, microwave for I think 90 seconds, take out and add 1 scoop of PB and mix it all together, put back in for around 90 seconds, take out and make sure it's cooked all the way through and then set it in the fridge until it cools down. Once it does, take out and cut into pieces! If you do it right, you'll have a delicious choc PB truffle type of dessert and it's the best!

The tittle of the vid made me think Nikki was going to talk about the tricks and Photoshop that they do on photoshoots. Lots of pro bodybuilders have comment on their covers on how they make them look more bigger and cut.

Girl, I hate to burst your bubble and I know that you are very intelligent and know what you're doing… but I just felt like I needed to inform you that glute kickbacks do absolutely nothing. The reason being is that the muscle is just too big. Ben Pakukski has talked about it along with a few other pro bodybuilders. From my experience, my legs have gotten to be MUCH larger including my glutes in the past 6 months just through training my legs hard and heavy. Stick to HEAVY squats, leg press, deadlifts, leg extensions, lunges, etc and I promise that will do a lot more for you. I just want to see you succeed. Hope I don't offend you and I hope that this helps :)

Love you nikki, but if you do not know what Casein protein is, you shouldn't be coaching people...
Proteins protein, people count their protein intake not their whey,soy,beef,egg,casein etc intake. Casein is a marketing gimmick supplement companies use so people buy more, most of the studies are commissioned by said companies so are biased and even if it is slow digesting who gives a fuck you're not going catabolic over night.
As far as the coaching comment goes... She looked pretty damn awesome on stage recently, pretty sure she has some idea of what's she's doing. I like comments that come from people that haven't achieved or even come close to those achievements of others yet like to think they know everything!
Also, in regards to protein, it's personal preference people. I personally don't use supps, waste of money.

I. think that maybe you should get a training/nutrition certification (if you haven't yet) so that you have a better knowledge of it. I. think you're like me. My husband has his Masters in kinesiology & Science and he has been in the fitness industry for over 14 years (retired now and works for IT co) and I always ask him questions because he has ALL the knowledge. And I use to help ppl for free on the side (since i. don't have the technical studies or certs) but stopped because PA school is a priority for me. My point is, if you get all the knowledge for yourself, your credibility would be much higher... If that makes sense :) anyways, you look great!! Good luck on your photoshoot!!!
