I think it is a nice touch that Mud Briar yelled see you later after Pinkie stormed off. He made it clear he only says that to those he expects to see again soon, so the fact he said it to Pinkie kind of helped show that he didn't have anything against Pinkie and wanted to see her again. He's trying to make an effort to get along with his girlfriend's sister even if it isn't going so well because of their vastly different personalities and Pinkie's emotional turmoil over having to see past the idealized picture she had of Maud.
I think the biggest shock in this entire episode is learning that Equestria uses the term "boyfriend" instead of "coltfriend" or "very special somepony."
In the episode "very special somepony" was introduced they said girlfriend at one point. I think very special somepony might be a more childish way of saying it, or just a word for partner (partner in a romantic sense, since the word partner is actually used)
I think it’s sweet that Maud found a special somepony. On top of that, she is showing more emotion than ever before and I find this side of her to be very adorable. Much like my first impression of Maud’s personality, I found Mud Briar to be the same way. I was drawn to a blank because he was rather peculiar and strange but, I did get a chuckle or two from him. I’ll probably get used to him eventually but, we’ll see. I really like how Pinkie got some advice from Limestone and Marble on how Maud sees Mud Briar. It was great to see them again, in a supportive spotlight even. In the end, this episode was simple but I did like it.
I've always liked Maud, probably because she displays a lot of traits of somebody on the autism spectrum and I can identify with that since I am on the spectrum, and it's nice to see more of her. I thought it was really sweet to see her and Mud Briar bond over their respective special interests and having fun discussing them. It shows that while they may seem strange and off-putting to others they understand each other perfectly.
20:40 Technically, Pinkie Pie left rock farm when she was a filly.(We see that in flash back from episode "Pikie's Pride".) So she know less about rocks than anyone in her family.(Also her lack of rock knowledge was shown in episode with Maud and Starlight. Pinkie didn't know wich of rocks are rare and will impress Maud.)
In this episode, Pinkie meets Mud Brier, doesn't understand his weird quirks, and is encouraged to try to make up with him due to both of them liking Maud. In Maud's introduction episode, The main 6 meet Maud, don't understand her weird quirks, and try to make up with her due to them liking Pinkie.
Maud didn’t help much by standing pinkie up so much. Maud needs to learn to balance it a bit more. Though pinkie did over react and allowed her emotions to control her actions. Sadly i’ve been in pinkies shoes and had to learn the lesson as well so it really hit home for me.
I can understand why pinkie couldn't stand him. Her first impression of him in the store played a huge roll, then when she tried to start over with him his political correctness pissed her off lol. Then she realized that he knows Maud better than her so then pinkie's feelings went from dislike to jealousy. Not to mention he was stealing Maud's time, but at the same time Maud could've told her earlier about him, buuuuuut then we wouldn't have a episode. Also from what I've seen with Pinkie is that she is the type where it'd be better to tell her upfront then to hide info to spare her feelings. We know that Maud knows this about her because she is upfront with pinkie most of the time. I feel like the surprise party thing should've been addressed earlier, just like RD should've told Pinkie that she didn't like pies
Technically, it's "role", not "roll". And it's not "political correctness", just a regular correctness -,- (sorry, I had to ;> ) I agree about other stuff, though. It was definitely about Pinkie being jealous without realizing it herself, because a new pony appeared in their clique and kinda disturbed the balance. He also caused Pinkie to realize that she doesn't know Maud as well as she thinks she does, and some things she knows about her are just her own projections he paints over Maud. The beginning of the episode makes it quite clear to the viewer (that is, if the viewer is observant enough to connect the dots).
Bon Bon lmao thanks for correcting me i didn't realize i put "roll" and you're right about it not being politically correct, since technically he wasn't intentionally trying to offend pinkie. (Im going to start saying technically all the time now, oh and literally 😂)
No prob. ;) And yeah, I see how many people can see Mud Briar as a jerk, while in reality he doesn't seem to have any bad intentions, quite the contrary: he seems to care a lot about correctness (as most brainy people do) and corrects other ponies having his best intent in his mind. He's not aware that it usually pisses off people who doesn't care about correctness that much :q
I think the main point of this episode would be that you just have to accept that there will be another person who will naturally know someone better than you think you know them. Mudbriar is exactly the same as Maud (which I think is very lazy writing, but anyway), so he will be able to understand her better than anyone, and Pinkie is upset that someone she doesn't like knows Maud better than her.
Kaiogiovanni Yeah it's another acceptance episode. Which Pinkie seems to have a serious problem with. I don't mind the repeated lessons because you can't learn something you struggle with once. Buuuuuuuuuuuut i feel like pinkie just went through this. (I side tracked a bit lol)
(continued from other comment) 21:51-22:16 Pinkie gives Mud Briar an olive branch to apologise. Only for him to point out it's not actually an olive branch. Also, Applegeek's tree knowledge. 22:29 Yes he is. Also, hi Lyra, Bon-Bon, Sweetiebelle, Octavia, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash. 22:32 And Spike. 22:36 And Cheerilee. 22:37 Cardboard Maud. 22:40 Hi Starlight. 22:53 Maud smile #4. 22:06 Mud Briar, you're seriously pushing your luck. 23:13 That's 16 times the word "technically" is used in this episode. (Yes, I counted.) 23:17 Group hug. 23:18 Maud smile #5. I counted one more than Applegeek, but it doesn't matter. She's officially smiled more times in this episode than any other. That's special. 23:28 Adam Kirschner voiced Mud Briar and Ingrid Nilson voiced all three Pie sisters. 23:35 Why not? They did it in Season 6? 26:31-28:33 Some of what you're saying does describe people with Asperger's, Applegeek. Not the unlikable jerk, annoying or lack of imagination parts, but everything else. And this is from someone who is Autistic. 28:33/40:33/42:28-43:13 I said it first Applegeek. 43:19-43:38 I hope so, too. These days almost any bit of dialogue can foreshadow a future episode. Overall, this was another great Maud episode. It's good to see her smiling more often and making real progress in life. Mud Briar might be a polarising character, but he's definitely the best boyfriend for her, given how much they share in common. Pinkie seeing things from a different perspective with help from her other sisters was a nice touch, too. We've still got a lot more to see this season, so let's roll right into the next episode.
Mud Briar definitely sounds like Sheldon Cooper/Jim Parsons. And has the same mannerisms. Am I lucky that I'm both a MLP:FIM fan and a Big Bang Theory fan.
02:37 Welp, I'm sure we won't go out with Pinkie anymore unless she takes her pills :q 03:07 You mean, Ms. Cheerilee in the background who fell off her chair and ROTFLd? ;> 05:06 A Pinkie who leapt through time :q (by eeeeing) 10:20 Just make sure you don't "love" him more than Maud :J 10:42 And even his cutie mark turns out to be a "stick in a mud" :q And this can be interpreted on two different levels ;> 11:10 Technically, it's "n'yes" ;J 11:49 I think Maud is really into his stick ;q 12:08 But no pony cares about piñatas :q They have feelings too, you know? :q 12:44 I love how this is really like the very first episode we met Maud, except this time the joke is on Pinkie ;> 12:54 Dem dating sims with limited number of possible replies... :P "This is still an air conditioner" :J 14:02 That might have worked the first time we met Maud. But not this time ;J 14:51 .....REALLY, DHX? REALLY?! :| You realize how this shot will be (ab)used on Derpibooru and what not? :q 15:32 Yup, pretty much me when I first saw it :Q This dude is the friggin' SHERLOCK! :P 19:10 OK, I think that Pinkie might be sun-powered :J 20:46 And this, kids, is the _actual_ geode. Remember that next time you'll be watching "The Legend of Everfree" :J 20:55 Yeah, do that with his skull :P
*+Yoshi Fan* That makes two of us. I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself, and I have a habit of correcting people, to the point where my speech tends to be a little archaic.
Love the plushie. =) I’m glad to see you were open-minded about Mud Briar. His mannerisms might be a bit waring, but he really is a perfect match for Maud, and if he makes her happy, I’m happy. =) Pinkie _did_ seem to be suffering from Rose-Colored Glass Syndrome: she’s known Maud for so long that when she sees somepony else acting like her, she can’t see the similarities; she only sees what she wants to. I did feel bad for her, but she wasn’t exactly being very gracious towards Mud Briar. Besides, it wasn’t like he was actively trying to split Pinkie and Maud up or annoy her on purpose. It’s just how he is, and he’s shown himself to be a nice and thoughtful fella. Plus, Maud herself never wanted to choose between them or hurt Pinkie’s feelings. After all, Pinkie herself is one of the few ponies who can make her smile, and she loves her very much. Major props to Starlight for being an awesomely understanding friend, and for Marble and Limestone with that beautiful geode metaphor. Even if Pinkie can’t see past the rock she sees Mud Briar as, she can see how happy he makes Maud, and s good sister should be happy that she has someone in her life like that. And of course, that new theme song sequence! =D
I looked up Adam Kirschner and he's a new actor. He doesn't have much credits to his name. Yeah I thought of Sheldon Cooper too and he did a great job with this role. I find it funny due to how much I could relate to Mudbriar because when I was younger, I had a habit of correcting others lol. I am better now, but the tendency is there. I would say 'Actually' instead of Technically though lol.
Limestone Pie is best pony. ;) I'm saying that since hearthbreaker. Also, Pinkie passed her childhood in the rock farm. But Limestone is running for more than à decade and Maud have a rocktorate. Obviously Pinkie is lack a bit of rock knoledge compared to them. :)
10:30 - Oh, sweet Celestia; so many inappropriate jokes about "hard" and "getting rocks off" and so little time! 11:35 - OMG, "sticks and stones"! I hadn't thought of that till you pointed it out! Brilliant, Applegeek! 12:40 - I shouldn't admit this, but I'm old enough to remember the *ORIGINAL* Twiggy, so this is even funnier to me!
5:10 she had plans that night and she wasn't in her house the morning after... the implications!!! but honestly, I love canon ships, and this one was just perfect.
Me seeing the new intro for the first time, kind of taken aback by how incredible the change was. That was a lot to take in and I'm feeling all the goosebumps and nostalgia.
Out-Of-Context well actually I was speaking in terms of the voice sounding like Jim Parsons, not the personality. By that logic tho, I agree with you 100%
You could have told someone of a high authority than a teacher, you could have even told a parent. Sounds like to me that you didn't explore all of the possible options, or wasn't motivated to, which makes me question whether or not you really got "upset" from these..."bullies" Why would I not blame the victim? I wouldn't be supporting my original statement otherwise, and this debate would be all for nothing.
Maud mentioned she already does stand-up comedy last season, actually. So it's not a big step for her. Also, her stand-up wasn't BAD, it just lacked the emotional delivery it should've had to have any impact.
Pinkie sees Maud as different from Mudbriar because they're sisters. They've gotten to know each other on such an intimate level that Pinkie has a hard time seeing Maud the way others do, and as a result can't see the similarities with Mudbriar.
I personally don't think pinkie pie perceived him as a threat, more like she just didn't understand him. She wants her sister to be happy, and she said herself that she wanted to like Mud Briar, she just couldn't see anything to like. Normally she is good at finding inner beauty, but in this case, she just couldn't wrap her head around this guy. I think Pinkie Pie has Asperger's personally. So do Maud and Mud Briar. It's like the Big Bang Theory. Four scientists who I consider Aspie, but they all are different. I'm autistic and have Asperger's myself, and I'm like pinkie pie, but I also know of other Aspies who are more like Maud and Mud Briar. This is just my opinion, of course. :03
Oh, I think it started out as lack of understanding, but then evolved into a bigger crisis. Pinkie was being forced to confront the truth about the type of person her sister really is, and she probably felt like she was losing her sister, because the perception of Maud she's had for all these years was being destroyed. It wasn't just Mudbriar either. Even Starlight tried to tell Pinkie about what Maud is really like. It's not easy to see the truth you've been blind to for such a long time, so I completely understand how upset Pinkie was getting over it.
NO! My sweet Limestone! Don't be jealous that your younger sister got a boyfriend! I'll gladly dedicate my entire life working at a Rock Farm just to be with you forever ever! #LimestoneisbestPieSister By the by, Maud's stand-up comedy has been established since last season, in this episode we just see how is actually done.
Mud Briar being such a stick in the mud was obviously intentional even his cutie mark is a stick in the mud, so Maud must be one of the only persons I know of who likes sticks in the mud ( squares) I find him being a stick in the mud so obvious and funny when I noticed his cutie mark because you can tell people are sticks in the mud because they are always taking the fun out of everything by correcting you and saying how you are technically not correct. Mud briars favorite thing to say and do.
Well...Earth Ponys DO have magic. They can make plants grow faster. And besides, we all know Earth Ponys can use magic spells and stuff. Movement of hooves, or even just having a staff. It would be cool if the greatest wizard/Magic user/Spell caster was an Earth Pony. That's my headcannon, anyway... 14:23 Also, WOW. That sounds REALLY bad. Yeah, she's in-love with her sister, Piesest is best Piesest
Well, I didn't like him at first too, but then I realized I can always slap him through the head every time he says "technically" and then I can like him a gain ;)
14:38 - IKR? I can't decide if Mudbriar looks cute or just ridiculous with Pinke hair! 19:31 - Am I the only one who feels there's something a little sad about the fact that Pinkie and Marble are twins but it's Maud, not Marble who Pinkie considers her "best sister-friend"? I guess there's no reason twins should *HAVE* to feel that their twin is their closest sibling, but somehow... 20:42 - Exactly, Applegeek!
hey there AG, You mentioned Mud Briar's mind palace... and yes, I did make the connection with the Sherlock series as well. But that 'got' me about it was something Briar said. He's got a 'Maud Room' in his mind palace. Get that, a whole room devoted to Maud. I'd say he's fairly serious about our favorite rock pony. Just my thoughts, Speaking Frank-ly
Indeed he is. I never saw anything to suggest he's not serious about his affection for her, which is why I think he's deserving of Maud's attention. He just has a bit of a "rocky" personality that needs some polishing. :D
Not mention a 'wooden' way of speaking, and a 'Twiggy' manner of thinking. He's far too pedantic for most ponies, and he and Maude make a 'nice' couple. I just mentioned the 'Maude room' as an instance of him unknowingly giving us all a look-see at just how important Maude has become to him. Like anypony, someone special deserves a room just for her, be it in his real home, or his 'mind palace'. :-)
"You look as miserable as I feel all the time." If she's miserable all the time, why doesn't she find something that she likes to do. Her name may be Limestone and her cutie mark may be rocks, but that doesn't mean she HAS to farm rocks.
Ahh I am kind of glad this reaction was late. I was having a shitty day at work and this video was the perfect thing to come on home to. So thank you for this reaction, it really made my day.
Has anyone noticed the fact that Starlight actually DOES have a portrait of Starswirl in her room yet? It's on the wall opposite the one with Trixie's picture on it. You can see it right around the time: 6:21 It's near the window and to the right of Pinkie.
Oh. Wow I was CONVINCED that it WAS Jim Parsons doing Mudbriar's voice. Just looked at the credits, and it is not so. Huh. Adam Kirschner does an impeccable Jim Parsons impression, in that case.
As manic as Pinkie can be, I have to wonder how depressed she was when she was growing up, because if just seeing her like this when Maud reveals that she's seeing somepony else breaks her down into itty tiny pieces, I truly wonder why and how she hasn't killed herself already.... I mean, I get that her growing up would be a fascinating theory and exploration in itself, but damn....how lonely must she be to be the pink black sheep of the family... Also, I'm pretty sure that Pinkie and Marble are twins, just that Pinkies a little bit older than Marble (she came out first). Makes sense, Pinkie may be the older twin biologically, but Marble's obviously the more mature twin...
Season 8 is off to a helluva good start, MAN am I happy!!! S7 didn't really do a lot for me, but for S8 I LOVE the premiere and this episode! Makes me happy to be happy about MLP again.
It seems Pinkie Pie is having trouble getting along with anybody who has a facial flat affect of autism, including her own sister. They have perceive things differently, sees the world things differently like in black and white with no gray areas, they are reserved and shy, they sometimes have a no-nonsense mindset personality, sometimes they're a bit more insightful and knowledgeable on certain things than the average person/pony, they're somewhat blunt in their opinions and may end up being seen as rude to others unintentionally, they unintentionally appears to be less friendly on their outlooks and they rather spend time with a few friends than being with a large group and they're less adventurous. What are your thoughts or opinions about this?
Okay i can see how hes like maud but at 18:19 he said "see you later" in a situation where saying that is extremely rude, maud wouldnt dare say that because she knows thats rude, where as HE did not hesitate to be extremely RUDE TO PINKIE
Loved your review and thank you for mentioning the rock necklace incident. There has been long evidence of Pinkie not really knowing Maud and this episode was more evidence of that. This episode got divisive really quick but I can see this building up. First off someone mentioned Mudbriar's voice actor and Maud's voice actress are dating in real life so nice to implement that in the show. ^_^ Second, Pinkie really has a lot of cases where people do things they don't like to make her happy. The first thing that came to mind is that pie episode with Rainbow Dash but there are other cases. Makes me wonder if Pinkie knows others' feelings or just forces them onto ponies and in one case mule. Mudbriar is someone who can express things better to Pinkie because he is precise. Another reviewer Silver Staring's Den pointed out that Mudbriar was willing to learn from Maud despite not liking rocks i.e. him knowing the difference between a cave and a cavern. He may be annoying but he clearly wants to be with Maud. Hopefully Pinkie will grow to look at her friendships and be concerned that she is forcing her opinions on others or at least be careful. Also I like Pinkie but she can grate on me sometimes.
An infamous fanfic called Cupcakes is the reference. Pinkie is the equivalent to Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd if you have heard of that if not then look up Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street because I don't give spoilers.
Mudbriar is obviously autistic. Very literal, doesn't show emotion in the typical way, doesn't pick up on social cues, etc. He's a lot like me. I'm autistic too. It's hurtful that people get so upset at the way we communicate naturally. We're not intending to be rude, but everyone gets mad because we don't follow the same social rules. It makes it hard to make friends when people always misunderstand your intentions. We're NOT mean, people just don't like that we're different. I like Mudbriar. He's not a jerk at all. He's easy to understand for me. Not at all frustrating to me. Maybe you should take some time to learn about autism, because it wouldn't be good if you meet someone who is autistic and you just assume they're trying to be rude or annoying. If you learn we're just different, maybe you won't think we're annoying anymore.
AngelBaby Lo He's a character from the TV show The Big Bang Theory who's voice sounds very similar to Mud Briar's. And I also thought that Jim Parsons (who plays Sheldon) voiced Mud Briar and I was surprised to find out he didn't
Mud Briar can be pretty frustrating. But I like all the little touches they put in to show how much he actually does care.
Same
And he does care for Maud. Even likes it when she talks about rocks.
I think it is a nice touch that Mud Briar yelled see you later after Pinkie stormed off. He made it clear he only says that to those he expects to see again soon, so the fact he said it to Pinkie kind of helped show that he didn't have anything against Pinkie and wanted to see her again.

It would be funny if Mud Briar was Cheese Sandwich's brother.
............. O H
Radiant Rose **Gasp** Oh my gosh, that makes so much sense! I accept this new headcanon.
It would make for a great episode. They could go on a double date. It would be AWSOME!!!!
I want to see this in an episode NOW! That is brilliant!
Thankies. :)
I think it’s sweet that Maud found a special somepony. On top of that, she is showing more emotion than ever before and I find this side of her to be very adorable. Pinkie remembered to look under the bed since there’s where Starlight had the secret passage in our town. Probably not what they were referencing tho.
Starlight learnt her lesson too - now her secret passage is somewhere else ;>
Bon Bon yeah. Forga Lorga or Agrol have probably revealed it somewhere in one of their videos

Maud is cute
Actually 6 times...if count the episode from season 5 where she said "I don't really like candy, but I like Pinkie Pie"
Wow, you're right! They are somewhat similar premises/ideas. But a little bit different execution.
Liam White your right
Liam White kind of ironic if you think about it.
Wow...that is actually quite similar, when you think about it. XD
I don't like when girl has problem with her sister boyfriend. That's why Pinkie is so annoying here.
“Don’t judge them by the book” coming from this episode =3
True.
The real saying is don’t judge a book by its cover
20:11 "Why are you miserable all the time?" Because she doesn't have a boyfriend. Duh.

Bevause Starlight smile and Raindrops is in it. #bestPonies.
D.)
Mud Briar definitely sounds like Sheldon Cooper/Jim Parsons. And has the same mannerisms. Am I lucky that I'm both a MLP:FIM fan and a Big Bang Theory fan.
I like mlp but not big bang theory I'm not a fan of that show I never watched it.
02:37 Welp, I'm sure we won't go out with Pinkie anymore unless she takes her pills :q
03:07 You mean, Ms. Cheerilee in the background who fell off her chair and ROTFLd? ;>
05:06 A Pinkie who leapt through time :q (by eeeeing)
10:20 Just make sure you don't "love" him more than Maud :J
10:42 And even his cutie mark turns out to be a "stick in a mud" :q And this can be interpreted on two different levels ;>
11:10 Technically, it's "n'yes" ;J
11:49 I think Maud is really into his stick ;q
12:08 But no pony cares about piñatas :q They have feelings too, you know? :q
12:44 I love how this is really like the very first episode we met Maud, except this time the joke is on Pinkie ;>
12:54 Dem dating sims with limited number of possible replies... :P "This is still an air conditioner" :J
14:02 That might have worked the first time we met Maud. But not this time ;J
14:51 .....REALLY, DHX? REALLY?! :| You realize how this shot will be (ab)used on Derpibooru and what not? :q
15:32 Yup, pretty much me when I first saw it :Q This dude is the friggin' SHERLOCK! :P
19:10 OK, I think that Pinkie might be sun-powered :J
20:46 And this, kids, is the _actual_ geode. Remember that next time you'll be watching "The Legend of Everfree" :J
20:55 Yeah, do that with his skull :P
To be honest I actually like mud hes a pretty cool guy and I can actually can relate to this guy Because I have a habit to correct people a lot
*+Yoshi Fan* That makes two of us. I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself, and I have a habit of correcting people, to the point where my speech tends to be a little archaic.
I’m basically the grammar police so I can relate too
Same xD
I correct people ALL the time, and even have a habit of saying “technically”, so I can really relate to Mudbriar.
Marble is such a cinnamon roll
Love the plushie. =)
I’m glad to see you were open-minded about Mud Briar. His mannerisms might be a bit waring, but he really is a perfect match for Maud, and if he makes her happy, I’m happy. =)
Pinkie _did_ seem to be suffering from Rose-Colored Glass Syndrome: she’s known Maud for so long that when she sees somepony else acting like her, she can’t see the similarities; she only sees what she wants to.
I love his plushie.
I ship it. I’m glad someone finally said he’s like Sheldon from Big Bang even looks like him. This was n adorable episode
5:53 it was kind of a not nice thing though for Maud to ditch her sister after she agreed to hang out with her.
Sheldon + sherlock = mud briar :D
Aw common, mud briar isn't that bad.
Unless if you're implementing Sheldon's personality is so dry it's wet again
If Mud Briar was voiced by Jim Parsons, it would’ve been so much better.
6:17 Anyone notice that starlight has a picture of a No equal signs allowed on her wall?
Limestone Pie is best pony. ;)
I'm saying that since hearthbreaker.
Also, Pinkie passed her childhood in the rock farm. But Limestone is running for more than à decade and Maud have a rocktorate. Obviously Pinkie is lack a bit of rock knoledge compared to them. :)
Yay Maud couple reaction I love it....and i love mud briar.
I was totally thinking the same thing about Sheldon from tbbt and the voice sounding like jim parsons as well
We've already had a Weird Al pony, a Justin Beiber pony, and now a Sheldon pony!!!
RPGFreak901 wait who was weird al again? Cheese sandwich?
Yes.
Yeah Weird Al also voiced Cheese :)
Out-Of-Context well actually I was speaking in terms of the voice sounding like Jim Parsons, not the personality. By that logic tho, I agree with you 100%
Stick and stone may break my bones, but words don’t hurt me not at all.
It's sad that there's many people nowadays that don't live by that statement.
Well, a parent bullying their child as they develop is kinda different from getting called a big fatty fat fat in the playground at school.
btamamura how? Why can't they just, oh I don't know...ignore it?
btamamura And you didn't do everything in your power to stop them, therefore giving them the green light to keep going.
You could have told someone of a high authority than a teacher, you could have even told a parent. Sounds like to me that you didn't explore all of the possible options, or wasn't motivated to, which makes me question whether or not you really got "upset" from these..."bullies"
Why would I not blame the victim? I wouldn't be supporting my original statement otherwise, and this debate would be all for nothing.
Maud mentioned she already does stand-up comedy last season, actually. So it's not a big step for her. Also, her stand-up wasn't BAD, it just lacked the emotional delivery it should've had to have any impact.
Mudbriar reminds me of someone with Asperger's who never quite adapted to society, similar to Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, or me as a kid.
Pinkie sees Maud as different from Mudbriar because they're sisters. They've gotten to know each other on such an intimate level that Pinkie has a hard time seeing Maud the way others do, and as a result can't see the similarities with Mudbriar.
Holy shit loving the new intro dude
Pinkie had no right to treats Mud Briar like that.
@@princesslightningstrike4592 shut.
i think Pinkie got that branch from Saddle Arabia
Midnight Thunderstrike that can be true
Or Yakyakistan
When he said technically i laugh so hard😂
NO! My sweet Limestone! Don't be jealous that your younger sister got a boyfriend! I'll gladly dedicate my entire life working at a Rock Farm just to be with you forever ever! #LimestoneisbestPieSister
By the by, Maud's stand-up comedy has been established since last season, in this episode we just see how is actually done.
Me too! That's weird.....ONLY ONE OF US CAN HAVE HER!!!!
Wait....Applegeek knows The Big Bang Theorie??? AWESOME😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
5:08 my complete personality is just like Maud Pie but as a human version
Mud Briar being such a stick in the mud was obviously intentional even his cutie mark is a stick in the mud, so Maud must be one of the only persons I know of who likes sticks in the mud ( squares) I find him being a stick in the mud so obvious and funny when I noticed his cutie mark because you can tell people are sticks in the mud because they are always taking the fun out of everything by correcting you and saying how you are technically not correct. Mud briars favorite thing to say and do.
20:55 Please tell me Pinkie isn't about to go psycho-
Well...Earth Ponys DO have magic.
+ pinky powers
The word technically was mentioned 14 times.Just in case anyone is wondering.
Wrong. 16. Did you count the ones by Pinkie Pie?
msolec2000 Well, yeah. But it seems that I missed some.
I do not really like Mudbriar that much, but if Maud is happy then I am happy too!
My feelings for him are lukewarm, but I absolutely love their relationship
Well, I didn't like him at first too, but then I realized I can always slap him through the head every time he says "technically" and then I can like him a gain ;)
Then you learned the moral of the story well.
15:28 even if Mudbriar doenst are a unicorn He know some magical holograms and it is interesting
Apple geek for your knowledge it was Adam Kirschner who voiced mudbriar.
Muad likes playing with his stick ;)
Yup, those bedroom eyes tell it all ¬ ̢ ¬
14:38 - IKR? I can't decide if Mudbriar looks cute or just ridiculous with Pinke hair!
19:31 - Am I the only one who feels there's something a little sad about the fact that Pinkie and Marble are twins but it's Maud, not Marble who Pinkie considers her "best sister-friend"? I guess there's no reason twins should *HAVE* to feel that their twin is their closest sibling, but somehow...
20:42 - Exactly, Applegeek!
I think the ponies join to a cardboard pony drawing's birthday party for free food
12:11 Stick abuse, wait until he visit Yakyakistan during their holiday.
15:34 The Maud room.
17:38 Kites 101 activated
love that plushie. it's the cutie mark on both sides? just asking. ;)
donatello21 I love it too
Cutiemarks are in both flanks
Yep, no Hasbro Syndrome on these. XD
Starlight plushie is amazing.
Pinkie pie has access to Discord's dimension?!?!?!? Whaaaat?!?!? 😂😂😂
06:36 I wanna know how pinkie got to discord's dimension!
20:50
I had to put this time stamp so I can rewatch this again and again
I'm thinking that since Pinkie Pie grew up on a Rock Farm, anything rock related tends to make perfect sense to her because of her up bringing.
Is it too stretched to note Limestone sounds a bit depressed here? And that there may be reasons for that too?
20:04 well technically...
All the Mane 7's siblings are getting special someponies, but not them. 😂
Sticks ad stones, may break my bones but... (Gets pelted with sticks and stones) ow ow ow!
20:41 She was probably too busy perfecting her party plannings and making everyone smile to focus on rock farming
hey there AG,
You mentioned Mud Briar's mind palace... and yes, I did make the connection with the Sherlock series as well. But that 'got' me about it was something Briar said. He's got a 'Maud Room' in his mind palace. Get that, a whole room devoted to Maud. I'd say he's fairly serious about our favorite rock pony.
Just my thoughts,
Speaking Frank-ly
Pinkie Pie basically has Jr Chaos Magic. (Like Discord but not as strong)
It great to see Maud smile more. As for her boyfriend, it just like you said, those two are perfect for each other.
Yakyakington is where the british yaks live.
Woah!!! New intro!! I love it.
Your channel is getting better and better!
2:15 Funny thing about that is that Pinkie Pie actually became an Alicorn once. It was in IDW'S MLP:FIM Comic #57 and it was one crazy story.
I bet it's a museum dedicated to the wax they use to seal apples.
Or maybe it's a whacks museum? ;J
LOL!
29:24 I think the way to look at Ponyville at this point in the series is that it's a town in the middle of expanding into a city.
Maud's smile is the most amazing thing I've seen on this show she is too cute
"You look as miserable as I feel all the time."
If she's miserable all the time, why doesn't she find something that she likes to do. Her name may be Limestone and her cutie mark may be rocks, but that doesn't mean she HAS to farm rocks.
One could say that Mud Briar is a bit of a "stick in the mud". :P
It was great to see Marble and Limestone again , hope we get to see more of them this season.
I think that these two can rival Twilight in terms of intelligence.
Ye
Funny how they say boyfriend now instead of “special somepony “
Technically, Maud smiled 5 times this episode, not 4. You missed her smile at 22:55. ;)
6:10 Anyone noticed how Starlight has a picture of an unequal symbol?!
The twiggy and crack open mudbrier part was gold
Okay i can see how hes like maud but at 18:19 he said "see you later" in a situation where saying that is extremely rude, maud wouldnt dare say that because she knows thats rude, where as HE did not hesitate to be extremely RUDE TO PINKIE
Yep, and much better. It objectively brings more benefits than emotional pain.
Not to mention, it's very nice of him. He thinks he will see her soon.
Nice Plushie jejejej, this episode for me when i see it, "OMG" Sheldon Cooper in MLp jejeje, nice video.
I thought it was Sheldon aswell but his name is jim parsons not adam
I love the Wallflower Blush plushie it’s so cute I want my own 😊
Aisha Ajis me to
19:02 that one scene confused me to death cause it had nothing to do with mudbrier
LilyBannel
Well said
_"Pinkie really has a lot of cases where people do things they don't like to make her happy"_
Welp, no pony wants to be a cupcake :q
Bon Bon
"Nobody wants to be a cupcake"? What do you mean by that?
An infamous fanfic called Cupcakes is the reference. Pinkie is the equivalent to Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd if you have heard of that if not then look up Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street because I don't give spoilers.
Try doing something that Pinkie doesn't like and you'll find out ;>
YEE STILL LOVE DAT NEW INTRO!!
I'm not get upset, No one can make me upset, I kinda like you, you are unique and funny but in positive way and I am different as well.
His comments are helpful.
Stick abuse... LOL
19:30 - "Is Marble gonna talk?" Mm-hmm.
I like more that plushie more than the real pony in MLP
I also like the fact we got to know a little more about pink pie's sisters and the new intro
Aww! Maud Pie's smile is adorable! I love when she smiling! )))
Who else noticed that Mud Briar is like Sherlock Holmes
Yeah Sheldon Cooper + Sherlock = Mud Briar
silverSTONE 98 don’t kill me, who’s Sheldon Cooper?
AngelBaby Lo He's a character from the TV show The Big Bang Theory who's voice sounds very similar to Mud Briar's. And I also thought that Jim Parsons (who plays Sheldon) voiced Mud Briar and I was surprised to find out he didn't
