Oh the first time I logged in... and this masterpiece started playing while I was on the hyperloop train... seeing the frozen lake, gorgeous clouds, it was a sunny day, then the music fades away a little, but as if of a matter of fate, as soon as the hangar door opened and I was about to get out, the song got crazy... oh boy I got chills, this was 2 years ago but still I get goosebumps every time I hear it! Of course after that I went to Tresler.. not knowing how fast I were, just to slam into the walls of that mighty Station and laugh a lot about it... this game changed my perception of gaming forever... of they deliver 20% of what they promised... this is gonna change the industry forever!!!
After long journey through multiple stations (was looking for winter suit as I didn´t know it sells in Tressler) I finally came down through Microtech atmosphere and spotted lights of New Babbage in the dark. Distanced, yet my Gladius was eating kilometers like it´s nothing. Then this music started to play as landing bay was closer and closer. I think it was the most emotional experience I had in gaming in last 3 years.I was just cruising between houses in NB and enjoying this piece of art.
@@Raptuure Yeah, Hurston is my second favorite :-) The music is mesmerizing there, and it´s weird how much it fits to dystopian shithole that Lorville is.
SC did manage this quite a few times for me in recent years. Illusion and music. Like i was actually there. Even if i don´t have anything to do, or maybe because of it - it´s very much freedom.
Had a similar experience to this myself, leaving the space port at night in my 890 Jump, slowly flying the beast over the icy ocean and through the middle of buildings in the city before starting to fly upwards whilst looking back down at the city at it fades into the distance.

So I have recenty bought my first, very good 7.1 headphones and I am now experiencing something close to nirvana. This music on it´s own is something we should play for aliens when/if they come, but on quality headphones, I am literally levitating above my chair. It´s like an orchestra playing only for me. Amazing.
Pedro Camacho, he do half the job himself, the music in Sc is half of the game and its surely the most polish and powerfull aspect of the game too. I hope CIg pay you good man because your the man for beautiful epic dramatic score your the best!

*5 minute experiment:* Turn out the lights. Recline or lay down. Put on your best pair of headphones. Turn up the volume as loud as you can handle it (this is very important). Listen to this with your eyes closed the whole time. Go where it takes you.

I Just spawned for the first time in 3.9 at New babbage and this stsrted to play. It felt so amazing. This game is one of the most epic experiences ever, even if its not so entertaining, has a lot of bugs and runs like crap.. There's nothing like star citizen, and Will Never be

I've been waiting to hear this in whole since citcon, they had the bass up far too high in the first part of the presentation so you could barely hear it in the convention xD

if only the rest of the game emoted as willfully as the music. It's weird to listen to when you think about the dead eyes of any npc or player character on these worlds, which may as well be androids set to 3% intelligence. I just don't get any sense of life out of this game yet!
Yeah i do feel guilty about listening to this, especially! when pedro actually has his own youtube channel where he also actually posted the Arc corp theme himself along with a nice visual video. As soon as he posts this all my views will go to him from that point on, but i just had to hear this.
