It's a bit odd to see how much Mike has changed his opinions of the 90s/00s pop-punk bands he seemed to hate for so long. I'm glad to see it though, as I grew up listening to a lot of them before discovering NOFX. I'd love to see shows that combine bands like Sum 41/Blink 182/Green Day with bands like NOFX/Rancid/Bad Religion.
@@TomiT14 there was a dispute with a radio station. Nofx didn’t want them to play the song on the radio, the radio continued to do it anyways. They band said fuck you and decided to never play it live again.

sum 41 started as a nofx cover band....really it was probably just them playing nofx songs in a garage up in canada figuring things out. Now they are playing fucking linoleum with mike himself. How rad is that for them. Too bad stevo wasn't there for this. No hate to frank, great drummer and i'm sure hes dope as fuck but steve-o would have brought it full circle considering the sums are giving it up and going home as well. Glad dave was here for this OMG "I DONT DO BAD RELIGION COVERS" is so funny!!!
Deryck the vocalist doesn't play guitar that much anymore during live performances, so mostly there's just two guitarists. I think they made the right decision when they chose to keep Tom in the band when Dave the previous guitarist returned. That gives Deryck free hands literally. And Tom and Dave are fucking awesome. Tom also plays the keyboard on some songs.
