A perfectly normal response to this perfectly normal video showcasing a perfectly normal map for Garry's Mod. There is nothing unusual about this comment. ===== All jokes aside, thank you for playing my map. I made this map because almost 95% of all horror maps in Garry's Mod utilize darkness to make things spooky. I designed it so where you don't even need to use your flashlight. In my opinion, I don't like darkness, not because its scary, its that its hard to see. I wanna SEE the spooks darn it! I am planning on updating this map. Flushable toilets, new furniture, adding new spooks, adding a story, rearranging pre-existing spooks, sandbox mode, TV being usable for non-spooky reasons, moving the lock, the key to the lock won't magically pop into existence when the plot demands it, optimization in general, bug fixes in general, etc.... I will also try my best to make it as VR friendly as possible. One more thing: If you ever want to replay this map, use the doors. don't use the doorknobs. They don't work as doorknobs. 🙃 =====
Well he's american after all, pretty normal to pull out a gun when entering any building. Just reading the news here gets something about a gun every day.

This also reminds me a lot of early 3D "room planning" software. You wanna talk about some liminal-feeling spaces, check out a DOS or early Windows room planner. They were all over dollar stores and thrift stores years ago but I'm not sure how easy those old ones will be to find these days. I remember one in particular that didn't really have texture-mapping, but it did use flat-shaded polygons, and some really rudimentary shaders - like the whole shape of a thing or surface might be replaced with a gradient that doesn't scale, something like that. I spent hours putting together and exploring spaces with those as a little kid.

Okay when i first seen it i was like " Ah its one of those silly maps so probably nothing special " not expecting something extra but i gotta be honest, it really made me nervous while you were playing through it, the sounds, the uncanny atmosphere and the fact that you go into it not thinking for a second it could be creepy, but truth was the opposite. Really well done, simple yet effective. I almost anticipated lights going off or something that would indicate things going crazy, but the fact it just changed the environment around you making us question " Why " or " Who " is doing it, that added to the scare. One of my favorite videos from your channel!! I remember coming back to this video ( along with other cozy favorites like Abandoned Sears and Autumn 2001 ) during the nights where a good sleep wasn’t an option for me. Your entire channel is an inspiration and the mood that they give off is very “liminal-esque “ -not just from the games but even your narration adds to the cozy vibes!! You have a talent for pulling your audience into the games and getting a taste of what it’ll be like to traverse various locations- and each seem to give off its on personality!! Thank you so much for these videos and the endless creativity that comes from your explorations 👏☺️!!!
Lego Island 2? (Sips coffee) That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Edit: I feel like this is a good opportunity to say this. This was on PC, so I don't know if it was any different on other consoles. Back when I was 7 -12 years old I distinctly remember having that liminal like feeling when playing the game, mainly after completing the jungle level with Johnny Thunder. The game allowed you go back and explore other parts of the jungle island (I think, my memory of the game is kinda slim). Johnny Thunder and the other characters had left and wouldn't appear for the rest of the game, the only way to see those characters again is by restarting the entire game. I still remember the entire place just feeling empty and lonely.
This map reminds me of an old Roblox game more than a Lego game. Like one of those old horror maps you would stumble upon by accident and get scared by.
