I have my own chaotic Fotd Story. It all started with me gathering around a 100 storage crates, then wanting to meme went to the active fotd and dropped all the crates on the sloop we found for attacking. After which I found out this was their first one so we allianced and finished the fort, I died right before the boss finished, which while we were doing a crew had turned my brig for a staging ground. I then talked myself out of the spawn camping loot under the defense of neutrality. Which after destroying the sloop they blackmailed me into keeping the loot because I was nice?
Yesterday we had a 2 hour battle at the fort. We had a 2-brig 1-sloop alliance, vs a solo athena brig named "The Extreme Racists." Each crew desperately trying to sink each other and rushing back to the battle after their ship was sunk. It was exhilarating
Hey Exo! I have been watching your videos for a bit of time and have been fascinated by your PvP skills. I am a fairly competent player in which I usually sloop with my friend. How would you recommend to practice our pvp skills? Would it be just to try and sink every ship we see on the server?
I think the best way to learn PvP is to coordinate with your crew and stick to learning 1 boat position at a time. Naval is the first place you should start, then when you are comfortable with being on a boat, transition to boarding and hand to hand combat If you ever stop by my stream when I am live I can give more in depth advice!
Its so weird, I remember this exact thing happening to me! At first I thought I was the sloop in the video considering that when I recently stole a Fotd I also Allianced with a sloop saying something along the lines of sloops unite... Either wicked Deja Vu, or impossible coincidence. (also nice name, I didn't even know you before I made my account)
