Hello! I have one question. How do you know when they peak? They have 2 lines of volume meter at the back of the speakers and i get confused. And Could 2 IQ15 and 2 IQ18 handle an outdoor 200 people party?
Hello my Friend, The dsp has a built-in limiter that can be adjusted. The top is probably enough for 200 people, but I don't think the two subs outside are enough. I think 4 tops and 4 subs are enough. Of course, if there is a wedding party, maybe the 2 top, 2 sub version will be enough. Maybe. All the Best Robert
If I may ask, why is the gain on your subwoofer all the way up?? I always have mine 1/2 way or less and they bump bro. If you try pushing them more than you should, it limits itself and the bass drops. IDK if that will help but hey, I noticed that on mine. Ride them smooth and they hit, over push them and you won’t be happy

Hello MrSeptik210, I am running this same rig, new to me, but I'm finding if i feed the sub with x-over on then to the tops, from my FOH, sounds like my sub is almost non existent. If I feed the tops first, with x-over on, then to the sub I get the punch. I see this setup is going subs to top, punching great!, what is my issue? thanks, Rick.
@@ricksavasten1 I run them @ 115DB due to the music I play but I did notice if you try pushing them too hard they won’t hit like they should. Tbh it’s a good thing to me
@@estebanrojasr , I am using the x-over on the sub, x-over off on the tops, I put the app. from turbo sound on my laptop, so I can USB into both sub and tops now, to be sure everything is set properly. I will be useing the rig this weekend so I will have a chance to play with it, thanks for the help.
Has anyone come across any fake IQ8 Turbosound? They brought it to me for repair and I found a strange thing - the speaker cones fell apart as if they were made of toilet paper! They don't look like the ones you see in ads for sale. I took photos and videos. Respond, who else came across IQ8 with problematic speakers!
I run a clean energy sound in NYC for Raves and clubs. The only complaint is that they dont throw far, need a wider horned sub for that. But they go great on top of horned subs :))
Can you play a jam that kids will dance too? Better yet, build relationships with kids that are will to show off their dance moves to your newly bought and proud speakers. Your video is way too sterile.
