Places we visited:
Auckland - Paihia ( Bay of Islands) - Coromandel - Whakatane ( Hahei Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach) - Rotorua (Wai-O-Tapu Wonderland) - Whanganui - Wellington - Picton (Marlborough Sounds and Queen Carlotte Drive) - Motueka (Abel Tasman Park and Golden Bay) - Punakaiki (Pancakes and Blowholes) - Franz Josef Village (glacier) - Wanaka - Queenstown - Te Anau (Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound) - Lake Tekapo (Mount Cook) - Christchurch
I know it's a late comment, don't expect a response. This was magic, I have been, and seen everything you captured. Proud Kiwi, travelled to 103 countries. Enjoyed the people and scenery. But! New Zealand, HOME!!!

NZ is a wonderful country to visit. If you do come please remember that we drive on the left-hand side of the road unfortunately there have been a lot of fatal accidents with tourists forgetting and driving on the opposite side hence the arrows you can see painted on the road during the video
One of the best vids of a trip round NZ, but still lots of other places, wonderful country, fantastic people never get tired of visiting.
Extremely well-made video! Not only covers lot of places in relatively short time but also mentions the places clearly with texts and signboards. This is of great help to prospective tourists.

I am a Kiwi and live in top of the the South Island. The South Island is beautiful, and I have been fortunate to have made many trips around the South Island, but also did an epic trip up in the Kaipara and Far North a few years ago and loved it, it was so different than the South. I have only seen "bits and pieces" of the rest of the North Island, so plan a trip around their soon. Wellington is my favourite city, it seems to have a vibe that I haven't found in any other New Zealand cities,

You missed the most beautiful part of the North Island and that's the East Coast. From Optiki to Gisborne. Dotted with spectacular scenery and maori mythology. Maybe next time aye.

Great video we were lucky enough to visit most of these places Last November into December some of these places are stunning abel tasman franz Joseph cathedral cove were just out of this world while Christchurch is a very sad place to visit due to the devastation of the earthquake but still is a beautiful city hopefully will be back soon hopefully permanently
I spent three of the best years of my life living in and travelling NZ. I really enjoyed seeing it again through your video. Would have enjoyed more Maori music though.
Wonderful video!!! Married a Kiwi and have been there 6 times since 2006, never made it further south than Blenheim. We are going to tour the south island for almost 3 weeks in March 2020, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

@@daver7867 Exactly!!! 2 days before we were supposed to leave they put in the mandatory 2 week quarantine so we didn't get to go. We're hoping to go in December of 2020, if they have the borders opened by then.
James Lorimor .....I’m living in NZ, as of yesterday we are back to normal, no new cases for nearly 3wks, they won’t be letting people in without you doing a quarantine period with the exception of maybe Australia or unless they develop a vaccine by then, we’ve come to far to risk letting the virus back in....but I hope you do make it here sometime when things are better in the world....good luck.
@@daver7867 We've been keeping an eye on the news about the borders. Read just the other day that they don't know if borders will be open to long haul flights until 2021. We have our fingers crossed that they open a month before that....LOL. My wife does get to Facetime/Skype her parents, but it's not the same as being able to give them a hug. Congratz on the "no new cases!!!" Can't say the same for us here. :-(

I've seen film clips similar to this back in the day when NZ was still trying to draw homesteaders. Nowadays they won't allow more than a few months stay on a visa. World class drifters are now in Indonesia and Philippines...

You've more chance of being hit by a bus and being killed than in an earthquake in New Zealand lol. While we have an earthquake somewhere most days, most are so small we don't feel them.
