- After months of practice and and countless tries on camera, I was finally able to record all of the song in one go. This video serves primarily as a proof of concept video, showing that you can achieve the same results with a laptop and keyboard as with a midi controller. Obviously, if you want to play this song with all the fancy lights like in Nev's video ( • Nev Plays: Skrillex - ... ), then go ahead and buy a launchpad, it's a pretty cool device. I think that this is really cool. Instead of having to pay forty dollars for a launchpad, even though this does not have colors, this is still super cool and i am really enjoying it.

How long did it take you to learn the whole first part with intro, vocals and strings.. ? I try 4 hours today and hopefully i got the intro without vocals with one hand.. but when it needt to go with 2 hands and vocals my hands are totally out of sync...plz reply i really need to learn this bro :D

Hey Dan, Ive been having a lot of trouble with the site lately especially on songs like 'Ghet1 - Knife party vs Skrillex' In which no sound plays when i press some of the buttons. Do you know is this is just me, or if it isn't when it will be resolved. This only started after the recent site error that need fixing.
Yeah, I've noticed that as well. I still don't know why it's happening but I am looking into it. the best temporary fix I've found is to just reload the page.
Ok. I think I've fixed it. Please let me know if this problem comes up again.

I hate to say it but I've encountered another problem. I don't know if you know about this or if you're working on it however over in the past 24 hours ive been unable to load the song Kyoto. An error message pops up reading "There was a critical error. Please check back later."

Are there Any exercises that can help you move your hands independent of each other?
william chung for me personally, the only way was to keep practicing and practicing on both hands until it was muscle memory. If I start to think about it, I screw up, so I have to be doing it almost subconsciously.
for my method, I think I first learned both hands independently reasonably well, and then I took baby steps trying to play them together. for example, focus on playing the first four notes with both hands until I didn't have to think about it, and then moving on to the next four and slowly building up.
What's the cheapest launch pad also I can't find any tutorials about this stuff.

I don't wanna spend money on a Launchpad, so I tried this and realised how if I bought a Launchpad, I would've stopped immediately. (Because it's so complicated)
Launchpad is technically a instrument, it's not a colorful toy that you just play around with. There IS much easier launchpad project files for all songs though. It takes time like all instruments
