I think part of the reason I like it so much is that many of the castles in the game are dismally designed and very difficult to defend. Not only is this aesthetically gorgeous but as I said in a video it's a beast to defend

Sieging is even easier tho since the defending ai archers dont even stand a chance and i dont even bother with catapults

I'm fairly sure that anyone who actually plays Bannerlord (unless they're doing a run where they barely fight) knows that if you've fought this many battles against such crazy odds as you regularly show on your channel, gold just pours in. And if you manage your fiefs well on top of that, you actually do shit gold. I think some players also stretch themselves too thin too fast, don't manage their fiefs and just try to conquer the world as fast as possible, getting as many troops as fast as possible without having the money to fund it. Then it makes sense they'd think that no one can possibly get this much money in the game.

Hey man! I love listening to your videos while I myself play bannerlord, although there's a little thing I'd like to ask. What got you into teaching tactics? And also, I'm sorry if this sounds rude at all, but some of the things you're saying about medieval european history is wrong/an americanzied version of reality. Since I'm a european with a bachelor's in history it bothered me a bit, I have the little problem of correcting people the moment I hear some false information being thrown around. If you would, please read up on medieval hygiene, water treatment and hierarchy! People were more or less clean, depending on your income, but even at the lowest level, you had communal baths! Most lords/rulers were not tyrants. No ruler had absolute power in the medieval times, and most rulers wouldn't treat people cruelly. There is of course a certain standard of adressing someone in a higher position than you that was expected to be followed. Heck, if anything, you can look at modern corporations and apply the same structure and behavior to a medieval society! The lord, whether he be a baron or a duke, had a contractual obligation to develop and protect his lands along with whatever other obligations given to him by the king. In return, he had different privileges on the land he governed. It's never black and white!

I agree here with virtually every single thing you said bud, though by Western standards I think most people had some pretty horrendous hygiene a thousand years ago. No toothbrushes no dentist clean water was fairly rare I know certainly communal baths helped maybe the westernized version of people taking a shower every day is the bias here which I naturally have some being an american. Still I appreciate these comments and I don't mind being corrected as we're all learning right up into the day we die. Please correct more of my future comments readily and with my wholehearted permission. I learn from you, then others learn from me. Cheers!

@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions Hey man! Thanks for being so understanding of where I'm coming from. It is true that by modern standards, medieval hygiene is primitive, I can't disagree with that. But in another sense, it's not as if there was no way to clean your teeth. Of course you'd get certain infections that are easily treatable today, but there were still methods to clean your teeth as a peasant, using toothpicks or chewsticks. But here's the fun part, they actually had healthier teeth than us! Only a relatively small amount of old skeletons found in western european society had tooth decay, compared to the skeletons we see from more modern times (industrial revolution and after), although I think this has more to do with the diet. Overall, people in a medieval society ate more healthy food than we do.

Still working out the kinks. What you're experiencing is 'older episodes' mixed in with more recent ones. I've narrowed down the best two mics, but some episodes are 1-2 months old and from the old mic. Apologies and hope you can wince through it!

Humans are not only overpopulated but also overly indoctrinated.
Little to no one actually has unique opinions they came up with themselves. Well, not towards things that matter anyway.
If you ask 1000 men what their life philosophies are, by far and large 90% of them will say about the same thing. Or so i would say.
Also bannerlord is a great game. #Khuzait4Life

I think you'll like the channel then brother - I am proud to be a non-conforming free thinker and while naturally biased and learned and no doubt persuaded by the material and sources of knowledge I have encountered, do my best to extol authentic beliefs, even if some are obviously commonly held by the masses.

@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions I can respect that. I care less about what someone believes in and more so the reasons why they do so. As long as you actually cared to put some thought into it, it's fair by me.
Suppose i'l stick around then, aye. Half because bannerlord half because i'm interested in you for said beliefs.
I'm sure you're keenly aware how rare it is.
Perhaps we could talk about it sometime? If it is no bother to you.
