Hot tip for legroom. This plane kept the configuration from when Alaska had Preferred Plus (the precursor to Premium Class from 2015) which was the 1st few rows on this plane and just the bulkhead and exit rows on the mainline fleet. According to the airline, the seat pitch for the bulkhead and exit rows was 36” minimum, which makes me think that Premium Class should be the 1st few rows plus bulkhead and exit rows like the economy plus seats on AA and United as a way for the airline to generate more seat revenue.
Thank you for posting this video. I’m going to be taking an Alaska E175 from Seattle to Monterey first class. My brother n law works for Alaska Airlines and suggested that I take the single first class because I’m a bit claustrophobic.
For sure! It would be so cool to see a bit of variety but I guess it’s easier and cheaper for both embraer and all the airlines to keep things relatively similar.
Just a regional fly that is done as it should and one arrive to the section all right. Waiting for the next one!
Me vibing to the song at the start of the video😘
Love the E175, we fly it for the quick hop to SeaTac to get connections. But have more leg room if you aren’t in front of bulkhead

i remeberd clearly flying over that same area when i was going to KSAN 10:15
@@LaneAviation Yes! What’s pretty cool about the flights into SD from the north all use the same arrival procedure so the awesome views never change
Really enjoyed the video. I went to school right by SJC and nice to see it modernized!
Beautiful Video! :)
Love the E175's. Although I do avoid 1A, due to my long legs. Rows 2-4 are much better, legroom wise.

Yes, of course, the E1 75 is a great aircraft in the first class is pretty nice for such a small plane. I hope you enjoy your flight!
Kinda sad to see all the regional products be the same. I think Alaska would have a leg up if they changed it from all the others.
Good video tho!
