Thx Driver. Thx for this vid. I'm just beginning to dive into production chains and I thought I'd start out with the oil production. Do you have a vid on what I can do with canola oil once I've made it?
For base game there is nothing you can use it with. There are production mods that you can use the oil but I don't have a video showing them all because it could change with any new mod day. I have showed off a couple mods that use it in specific facilities.
nice video Driver, well to really make money out of sunflower oil we will need prices higher than 2.8 on normal , because sunflower itself goes over 1.4 , from what i seen so far sugar and clothes seems to be two good choices, but then those machines are expensive too, i started with greenhouses then chickens once i get large sheep pasture fully i'll do cloth.
I’m seriously hating this mill production chain as it’s not giving me pallets of the oils .. and when I sell I also get nothing .. so I put 16k olives into this fkn mill and I’m gonna have just wasted all of them … they need to include a way to take the products out of the mill before they are turned into the output material.. or just a way to output it into like al Iquirey tank or something as my pallets won’t spawn at all … but thanks for the rundown on mills .. they tbh seem like a huge waste of time for the oils esp only getting 60% of the max price .. stuff that
Reason for not having pallets spawn could be you've reached the max number of pallets on the map already, you have the output set to distributing, or you have the output set to selling. The lower sell price is only when selling automatically and it is an average of all sell points on the map for that product.
I’ve been trying to do olive oil and trust me don’t try it .. I have 16k olives in the Mil and it’s honestly costing me money .. not to mention the pallets won’t spawn so it’s sucks to know that it’ll take a 40% cut of profits of the top dollar amount … it’s easier just to store the olives and transport via trailer 💁♂️ Like if you own half the map and have plenty of other tasks to do then yeah maybe production chains will be a way to make idle money but until that point they seem like a pure waste esp with no other factories that can use the oil via the distribution option ..
