Thank you for this, for someone that recently moved here your videos kind of helped me to mentally prepare myself for the major transition. I know it’s to each their own as we have different experiences but THANK YOU for sharing!😘
Yoh! 5 years!! That’s huge!!! Being abroad is not easy! 5 years and with the experiences you had ❤❤ welcome back on the red app! Sending you lots of love and light!
Change is hard, it's normal to miss the past friendships you had. We hope everything unfolds accordingly, you are doing great my love. uJehova uzokwenza!🥰❣
I LOVED watching this video! I feel like I relate to your thought process so much. You have so much to offer where ever your next journey is. You have tons of experience and you're passionate about what you do. I hope you consider larger cities like Taipei and Koahsiung if you decide to ever give Taiwan another chance. And!!! You can always go back as a visitor to Korea. We stayed for almost 2 weeks over the summer last year. It was so great but like you, we realized we had outgrown it (but secretly we will always stalk Korea because it was our first love)
I think that’s my biggest fear ! Like I could go back but only to realize that I’ve outgrown it !!! Exactly that ! I miss that part of my life but I think it’ll never be the same and yes absolutely it will always be my first love too ❤️ everything you said makes so much sense when I think about it. I will definitely try bigger cities .
It won't be the same when you go back HOWEVER!!! That also means you experienced Korea when you were supposed to and that time and those wonderful memories will be with you always. A lot of people return because it's comfortable with out doing the self reflection that you have!! Look forward to seeing what's in the future for you!
Finally catching up…death by you saying you’re half Korean, half South African 🤣🤣🤣 Lalela! Korea is our second home ❤️ I’m sad you didn’t get that great experience in Taiwan…ey iTaiwan is a mini China in my head, to think I almost wanted to give it a try 🥲 scooter? Delivery at diff places either than your apartment, going to the bank just to send money home - inconvenience at the highest level 😭 I hope your new journey will be amazing! So proud of you for challenging yourself and trying out new things! You’re clocking 6 years in the industry! Please give yourself a standing ovation, you’ve done well. Here’s to new beginnings Babe 🎉
I am really sorry that Taiwan turned out to be not your cup of tea. I know Tainan is super slow and it’s more for the locals. I used to spend most of my weekends in Kaoshiong. Virtual hugs.
I'm so sorry sis🫂. I hope with your next contract, you can move to Taoyuan. Its really close to Taipei and its easier to find things to do and a community that you can hang out with from time to time🧡
I get you when you talk about being tired because this ESL job thing is tiring Yho 😢, I am drained 🥹😭but we have to look on the positive side, I guess any job is tiring at the end of the day
Busi! why didn't you say? Remember how much ngangigowa ngayo when I arrived. I even reached out to you on TikTok. Taiwan is really slow shame. Kuyabhora buuut I'm used to it now yazi. It helps going to other cities during weekends.
Hi Busi so sad to hear that you’ve been having a hard time in Taiwan 💔 what was your reason for leaving Korea? Also it makes sense that you’re grieving your life in Korea, you were there for a whole 5 years! That’s a huge chunk of your life.
Thank you ❤️. I’m better now, thankfully lol. The culture shock was a lot lol. I left Korea coz I was tired but then I got bored in SA and wanted to try something new .
I have an offer from a school in Taoyuan🥲🥲, ngaze ngasaba yoh. Just hope they upgrade me from alternate candidate to shortlist on the JET programme so I can just go to Japan🥺
@lizwimasango6991 yup Taoyuan is at least close to Taipei, I have many s african friends who used to live there, always feel free to ask me any questions when ur here
Hello Busi, I'm new here ❤❤❤ and I just subcribed ❤❤😂 I'm Sibu, is there any country that pays well and employing teachers with Diploma and TELF certificate? Please help cc I need this

You and I are having the same experience 😟. I finding hard to adjust to life in China. I miss Korea.
I’m so happy to be going home soon . This city was the worst lol . I’ll try to move to a bigger city or I’m not coming back lol
I’m also trying to move to another country. China is not for me!
Which Taiwan cities would you advise a foreigner to move to that are lively, exciting and not too expensive, apart from Taipei?
I’d be lying if I said I knew
I get you when you talk about being tired because this ESL job thing is tiring Yho 😢, I am drained 🥹😭but we have to look on the positive side, I guess any job is tiring at the end of the day
That’s true babe , the thing about esl
Is that we’re away from home so we feel it more . I’ve learnt to always look for the positive side too🌸
S/o to you for being open and vulnerable about your esl journey.
Thank you so much babe . We ought to be honest sometimes , behind all these “happy” vlogs there’s actually reality .
Please comeback to korea through Epik😢
The pay is not good nje 😩
You should also consider/think about teaching in the UAE, I don't know, maybe you might like it. Just a suggestion.
I am looking into it . Thank you
