I read 2 books this month, which is a good month for me, I’m slow. Reading more books is a big goal of mine. This month I read The Poppy War by RF Kuang, and What the River Knows by Isabel Ibanez, both on the recommendation of my sister, who reads way more than me
I also read 15 books this month. And I find it funny that I also read Finley Donovan is killing it. I also thought that it was good and also thinking of reading more, very quick read. Hope you enjoy your day. 😘❤️
The Finlay Donovan book sounds super cute! Very evocative of Janet Evanovich's writing, from the brief description, but that would honestly be a huge plus 🖤
Huge Elin fan! The Perfect Couple is a plot-driven book that is being made into a limited Netflix series (comes out in September and I CAN'T WAIT)--I bet you'd love it! I'm also super into May Cobb ATM. She has written 5 books and I'm currently reading the last one. Will be following her writing career!
Love hearing what you've been reading! I definitely want to read some of those. Hopefully while I'm away. I'll be seeing ppl I haven't seen in years, so not sure how that will work lol anyway, thank you! ❤
Okay, yes, Butcher and Blackbird, but the freaking audible is amazing. The voice actor for him is Irish and has the most panty melting accent. Same guy plays his brother for book two. Definitely worth listening to even if you have already read it. It's dark but not that dark compared to other things I've read. I'm not usually a big audible person since I have a KU subscription, but that one is 100% worth it.
📚📚📚A Broken Blade is on my want to read list! It takes me so long to read a book as I only have the time at bedtime to read. I am still on the Acotar series and loving it💖. Thanks for the reviews ☺️
Are you on Goodreads and if yes, could I follow you? As a child / young teen I read a lot and then with higher up schools and university I hated reading and didn’t have “time”. This spring I got back into reading bcs of the ACOTAR series! I loved it so much and bought like a 100 books that I’m now reading! I’m kinda a romantasy / dark romance / thriller kinda girl but if I want just a light read I also like a cute romance. What is your favourite genre? In July I only read “The Ritual” and a few days ago started and am almost done with “The Serpent and the Wings of the Night”!
if you want! i only use it for personal tracking i don’t write reviews or anything so happy you’re loving it! I gravitate toward romance, fantasy, & thrillers the most!
@@battybean found you! nice so almost the same genres 🥰 I also only use it for tracking and giving stars 😂 I sometimes would like to give some half stars but yea! Do you also listen to audiobooks?
I also typically don't care for children in my books.. or movies or TV shows.. I recently read The Night Ship by Jess Kidd- there were 2 children main characters and I really ended up liking that book a lot.. so, that was a nice surprise since kids generally kill things for me. Ha!
Hmmm not sure exactly! Depends on the book! The average 350 page book can take me anywhere from 3-5 hours to read if I had to guess. I basically alwaysss have a book on hand if I’m ever waiting around for any reason & I always read before bed! (& obv I have times I just read in huge bursts for fun!)
Unfortunately, Butcher and Blackbird just wasn't for me. I enjoyed the romance, but overall, it was just too gorey for me lol 😅 I really want to read the Carval series though, sounds super interesting!
I finished A tragic kind of wonderful this month. I enjoyed it but I found it quite sad, gave it 4/5 stars. My reading has really dropped off since the start of the year, life just too busy. But I enjoy hearing you describe the books youve read. Thank you! 💜💙🩵
My ratings are similar to yours! 5- I loved it 4- I really liked it 3- I liked it 2-not for me but I can see someone else liking it 1- I usually DNF but this means I hated it 😭 didn’t like it and don’t know anyone who would lol

I've read 24 books so far this year. I didn't set a goal, because I honestly didn't think I'd get through one a month. Definitely surprised myself! 📚🎉
that’s amazing!!

Some of those books sound very interesting. I have been curious about Butcher & Blackbird.📖
I’m currently rereading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. It’s such a heartbreaking book but it’s one of my favorites! I highly recommend it

June and July are always slow reading months for me. But I've read the caraval series and loved it!

occasionally i do! i have to be in the mood for it!
You should try out the Immortals after Dark Series by Kresley Cole. I have re-read that series so many times! I love it so much!!

I’m wanting to read an Ali Hazelwood book but not sure which one to read first. What do you recommend? I think you said she’s one of your faves?
she’s a hit or miss for me! love theoretically was my fav but hated bride hahaha & love hypothesis was just okay

How many pages do you read in an hour? I’m just amazed how much you read each month lol
