Incredible cover of an all time overlooked masterpiece, stellar playing and voice man! Makes me very happy to see skilled musicians actually covering this song
Daniel, the first time I've heard of you listening Tobby Green and his covers of CCR music. I listened to all on your channel and I'm fascinated with your talent. I'm a musician, home producer, accordion and guitar player of the older generation, born in 1953, (I play Shadows, CCR and Tex-Mex music) and I like to hear young talented as you, I wish you much success. I love to listen Dwayne Verheyden, a young accordion player also from Holland. Great talent also. Greetings from Croatia (island of Hvar, Dalmatia)!
Thanks again! The guitar tones are straight into a Fender Super Champ XD using the line out for recording, with a little bit of post-EQ and reverb. That's about it.
Thank you, I appreciate that! No pedals, just a Fender Super Champ XD recorded directly via line out. I love my SG with P90's, it's hard to make a bad sound with that guitar haha
Woah, obscure choice, but nicely done. You've got a really good grip on the slight swing that Doug Clifford has to his drumming. Separately, that's a goddamned beautiful rickenbacker. Which model is that?
Thanks so much! Yes all of CCR were a big influence on my playing. It's a 90's Rickenbacker 650S Sierra! Excellent instrument but in the end I personally couldn't get used to the wide neck (1 3/4" nut width), YMMV
Well, I was born on a Sunday; on Thursday I had me a job. I was born on a Sunday; by Thursday I was workin' out on the job. I ain't never had no day off since I learned right from wrong. Mama said I was bad, I did something to her head. Mama said I was bad, I did something to her head. And poppa threw me out, ooh, said, "I gotta earn my own way." I ain't never been in trouble; I ain't got the time. I don't mess around with magic, child. What I got is mine. Whatever you say, Lord, well, that's what I'm gonna do. Whatever you say, well, that's what I'm gonna do. 'Cause I'm the working man, Lord, and I do the job for you. I ain't never been in trouble; I ain't got the time. Every Friday, well, that's when I get paid. Don't take me on Friday, Lord, 'cause that's when I get paid. Let me die on Saturday night, ooh, before Sunday gets my head.
I keep coming back here. This video is so criminally underrated
Thanks so much!
So glad to see others love this song, too! The only thing missing is Fogerty's hair... that's where his tone comes from
Hahah thank you! I used to have longer hair but it's fun to try other tones as well

Thanks very much Benjamin! Yeah I think deep cuts like this deserve attention as well
Excelente interpretación! Felicidades. No todo está perdido.

I came on this track way back in 71, it is a stunning blues, great job on recreating the vibe! One where Fogerty tuned down his guitar a whole tone.
Thanks! I really enjoy their debut album. Love the downtuned tone, however I played this one in standard!

Wow! awesome ! what a tone .... can you tell me in what your Sg going through to have that tone ?
Thanks again! The guitar tones are straight into a Fender Super Champ XD using the line out for recording, with a little bit of post-EQ and reverb. That's about it.
Awesome cover man!!! You know where I can find a bass tab for this? I’ve been meaning to learn it for a while!
Thanks! No tabs unfortunately, hopefully watching my hands helps a bit
Good job, fella!
Thank you!
Do you play slide guitar? If so you should do “Statesboro Blues”, the Filllmore East Live version.
I dabble a bit, but Duane I ain't haha!
good work!
Thank you!
Good Job!!
Thanks!
Great
Thank you!
Kick ass!!!
Thanks Rich!
Man i like your videos but especially your guitar tones. Rickenbacker is awesome but that p90 sound is amazing. any pedals?
Thank you, I appreciate that! No pedals, just a Fender Super Champ XD recorded directly via line out. I love my SG with P90's, it's hard to make a bad sound with that guitar haha
great
Thank you!
un hombre de rock y blues.
Rock on!!
Damn this is BA!
Thanks Bert!
Do you think you could do some byrds or Crosby stills and nash
I love those bands! Doing their harmonies justice would be a big challenge though, and I don't have a twelve string guitar... but who knows? haha
Woah, obscure choice, but nicely done. You've got a really good grip on the slight swing that Doug Clifford has to his drumming.
Separately, that's a goddamned beautiful rickenbacker. Which model is that?

You learn song from tab or ears?
Thank you! I learned this by ear.
Sir that was good.
Thumbs up. I also subscribed.
Is that a Rickenbacker on the top left, if so , what model?
Yes, it's a 650S Sierra that I used to own. Splendid instrument!
I own a 360/6 and a 360/12 Ric.
Now I want one of those. damn you, damn you all to hell... weep weep weep
One can never have too many guitars eh? Good luck haha
👌
Thanks!
Wonderful cover. I think it had been better than original version..
Thank you very much!
fuckin' great dude!!!
Thanks!
McCartney, move over; there`s a new kid in town !
