Dude, how have you had the Talica, Makaira, and Internationals do this?? Maybe your matchine is making a problem? Might be too much tention.

He is making a show. The reel was not designed to spin at that speed under that pressure especially in the low gear.
He is actually damaging the reels to get attention. Poor ape.

      100% truth! Totally agree!

You want the tension to get the line on tight or else you will risk the line burying itself under heavy load. It looks to be a defective Main Gear or Pinion. I sent a few brand new reels with defective issues and they replaced the parts free of charge.

If a reel only dose that under tension it's not a good reel

i have a talica 25 and in this video i notice the harness lugs are pushed down, how can i do this?

I seen other videos of yours with Penn Internationals ,Okumas Makairas and seem that all others reels do the same, maybe something in your linewinder could be the problem?

Not his line winder. I have two VISX reels that did that right out of the box in high gear.

Okuma did this to me, and I never purchased from them ever again..

Stupid question but why contributes to a reel skipping gears?

Ask a tackle shop and they'll tell you reels die on the line winder all the time. It's where you get rid of the bad ones.

Dude! Your reels bouncing all over the line machine. It’s not the reel! It’s your line machine that’s skipping 😂😂😂😂😂. You obviously don’t have the reel level with the winder otherwise your reel would be stable and wouldn’t be rocking while you put on line.

It might be, he has a video of a Makaira, VISX, and now the Talica skipping, I don't see how this is only happening with his. I think he uses to much tention and there is so much pressure on the gears that they randomly slip as it is cranking.

I personally had two Penn VISX bought from different shops fail and do this while on a fish. It’s not the machine. Some reels make it past the QC and turn out like this. Penn had to replace both my reels and then those had a loose screw on the clicker. I always get brand new reels serviced because not all make it through a thorough QC check.
