I love how you explained one person is more of a planner, might be more creative and it's ok. It doesn't mean the other spouse cares less or less invested in the relationship. That was so important and I needed reminding. And the different types of dates. Genius!!!

Love this! So it’s funny because this afternoon my husband and I actually are having a date day (no kids, and an actual babysitter) for a few hours. This hasn’t happened in a few years so it’s a big deal. But truthfully we’ve recently experienced the normal married couple head-butting and so we really need this time of connection. I love what you said about not trying to “fix problems” because that’s what we’re usually doing and that while necessary at times, gets exhausting if that’s all we’re doing. Thanks for the reminder to keep it light and fun. For our date today we’re just going to check out a new restaurant we’ve had our eyes on for awhile and then walk around a small town market area and browse. Anyway thanks again for sharing. These videos are so helpful and encouraging.

We're curious: which of these 3 kinds of dates would you like to have MORE of? 🤔
