That is how I found it as a kid ! That’s crazy. Dude the memories keep pouring in lol. Ive been trying to find this game for like the last couple months. Couldn’t figure out the name until I just randomly said fusion frenzy lmao
Man. I remember those days.when I was 4 back in 2001 and the rest of the years when the Xbox was still making games from those times. Those were the good old days. Because I grew up playing fresh Xbox games like SSX tricky, Dark Summit, The Simpsons hit and run, Backyard Wrestling 1 and 2 and the rest. But back in 2006, i lost my Xbox, I don't know what happened to it Since I moved out. I'm just here to pay my respects for those wonderful days since my childhood has been. Thank you Xbox. You will be in my heart forever.
Amyx Komari interestingly enough the reason for that startup is because while the game is running the Xbox One converts into an Original Xbox in order to run it
Oliver Bean yeah. A dashboard is required for the Xbox to launch, and the Xbox startup is actually not at all part of the BIOS or dashboard. For some odd reason the Xbox 360 does not do the original Xbox startup, instead falling back on a white Xbox logo.
Literally my childhood game. I have so many great memories playing this with my siblings and my mother. Love it. Still play this game even still today!
@Ramaje Dean I think you can play on xbox buying the digital version or via emulator. A small edit: I'm not sure but you i think you can play via gamepass too.
@@sebiDD7 the sumo one is most iconic for me for sure, and im I'm realizing I think I only ever played the demo. Because I don't remember so many damn game modes and I don't recognize half lol
John Doe bro my dad has this on og Xbox when I was small like 3 or 4 and I randomly came across it in Xbox store and instantly remembered lol. I’m almost 19 now.
I'm 52 but my late 20's and early 30's were spent playing this with friends. So many memories. Underrated for sure! The music, graphics, fun options and the over all feel of the game still keeps this game relevant. Way ahead of it's time. It aged well!
Me and my mom played this game when I was 4 or 5. It’s crazy how much I remember. I remember the colors of the characters the 321 go, the music, and a couple of the simple mini games. My favorite one was the one where you are in a ball, and you have to push others off of the platform while it slowly shrinks. I remember I had a racing game, and when I went into the demos of that racing game I could play the full version of fusion frenzy. I remember how the game where you ride around and draw a trail behind you would always crash the Xbox. Good times. I’m 17 today, and I’m getting really nostalgic. I might go find an Xbox and show this game to my little brothers.
Soo 2003, probably played around 2007 - 2008. I've played this when I was 6, 7 around 2001, 2002. Damn. I feel older now, 28. Those were the days! Had to look this game up because it's been stuck in my head ever since lol.
Big nostalgia. Played this and a bunch of other minigames on the original xbox back in the day at my cousins house and with my step sisters later. Miss those days
Legendary game. Feeling overwhelming happiness thinking back on my childhood as I remember playing this game endlessly with my three sisters on Xbox. Major nostalgia. Randomly thought of fusion frenzy and loaded up this video. Thanks for sharing
My highlight was staying at my BFFs house and playing this all night with her and her brother. We played it till like 1 am as little kids and would wake up, her mom would make up a tiny cup of gourmet mocha coffee and we would play all day. Best memories ever. Such a good multiplayer game. I love this game so much, I bought it on eBay for 10$ despite not even having any sort of XBox. Lol One day, I will own the first Xbox and I will play this again!
My cousin and I played this and the Halo demo until the disc no longer functioned.. hundreds if not thousands of hours with a demo disk until we got the full games for christmas. We used to stay up for days at a time playing.
Im 15 and my brother is 25 and out of the house so i couldn't ask him about the game. i juss got a memory of this game and 007 on the original xbox and ive spent the last hour searching for this and now that ive found it i cant be happier.
I was a wee man when this came out. I was 8 years old, we got this in the Xbox live demo disk, and me and my 2 little brothers used to play the hell out of it.
I remember being the first kid in my neighborhood to get the new Xbox and all my friends would come over and we would just snack and play halo and this game for hours on end in my small room . Good times
I grew up watching my uncle play this game, I haven’t seen anything about the game since I searched up “Xbox skating game” just now. Brings back so many memories.
I actually had the game Amped, snowboarding, and this was a demo in the extras section that my brother and K would grind on for a couple hours tryharding. Had the thought fusion frenzy come to my mind and came here asap. Wasn't disappointed 😀
Literally had a flashback of this game. I couldn't remember the name. I played it on a console in Asda when xbox was released. Many a days ago. It was so fun!!
This was the game you could literally play with anyone. Played with kids and old people who’d never even held a controller before and without exception everyone loved it. The best part was you could legit play it with hardcore gamers and have a blast too. When I try to explain it to ppl who’ve never played I say it’s if American Gladiator was a Japanese game show in the not too distant future.
Me and my siblings used to play this all the time. In fact when I was really young since there were 5 of us they would pretend my controller was plugged in.
This game looks much better compared with standard xbox 480p mode, there is huge resolution increase. But the thing is, I have also seen few other xbox classic games on YT video gameplays (emulated on xbox one), for example crimson skies, black, and KOTOR, but they all looked blurry like 480p. So only fusion frenzy have that resolution increase?
From what I've read and heard, all of the games run at 4x native resolution on the Xbox One/S, while they'll be running at 16x native resolution on the Xbox One X. So for games that ran at 640x480 (4:3) on original hardware, they'll be running at 1280x960 on Xbox One/S, and 2560x1920 on Xbox One X. So, in each case, not too far off the 1080p and 2160p 4K vertical resolution outputs of each console. At that point it really comes down to whether or not a game has proper widescreen support, most games at the time were 50/50 on whether they supported 16:9 output or not. You can find a full list here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_with_alternate_display_modes I'm personally curious if they'll acquire the correct licenses to publish any of the games that supported 720p output on the Xbox like SoulCalibur II. If they stick to their claim of 4x and 16x resolution scaling, you'd get 1440p downsampled to 1080p on the Xbox One/S, and 2880p downsampled to 2160p 4K on the Xbox One X, but that's assuming they would allow the game to output using its 4:3 720p mode instead of the 16:9 480p mode.
This game was monumental. For all the original Halo players who found this game via Demo on the first Halo Disc....I see you fam!!!
That is how I found it as a kid ! That’s crazy. Dude the memories keep pouring in lol. Ive been trying to find this game for like the last couple months. Couldn’t figure out the name until I just randomly said fusion frenzy lmao
Yesssssssir

Yooo!! No way. Exactly how I got into Halo. Idk if I should’ve been playing that when I was 4 but fuck it lol
Yoo what was the game with the boats that was a demo on the same disk
The fact that they put the Original Xbox startup at the start whilst loading the game warms my heart...
So many great memories from that time and this game.
It’s an Xbox emulator program that’s running. OFC it’s gonna boot up like the original.
Was neat the first couple of times. Now I wish it would load faster.
This game never got enough credit for how detailed the stages were and how good it's soundtrack was
I’m crying in the club rn
Literally my childhood game. I have so many great memories playing this with my siblings and my mother. Love it. Still play this game even still today!
@Ramaje Dean I think you can play on xbox buying the digital version or via emulator.

Same here! Wish I could still play it
Wish they would bring this game back. Perfect for game night. It was super fun
