This is part of a series of ghost comparison videos for Mario Kart DS, showcasing two of the best time trial runs in the world racing side-by-side for a given track. This is made possible thanks to MKDasher's input display script as well as Pikalex04's method for syncing two separate runs together on DeSmuME.
It has been over one year since the first upload featuring Taiga and Max on Mushroom Bridge - thank you very much for your support! I hope you enjoy this stunning race on Tick Tock Clock, from one of the greatest games ever made - Super Mario 64. As for the racers, I think you know who they are by now...

This song really takes me back to the old days. Great comparison as always.
Honestly see potential for a much lower 1:29 here. Both of them are very strong on different sections of the track and there really aren't any shitty cycle locks that I see so I wonder what could happen to the record if a back in forth was sparked here
Awesome bgm dude
dasher has an insane ending
The battle rages on.
Impressive speedruns
Super Mario 63 (computer game) Bowser’s level music
The Koopa's Road remix from Super Mario 63 definitely caught me off guard, but it's nice to hear it again. Great comparison as well.
this is really insane, taiga is so close! dasher's consistency is so good though even at the end you can tell this guy's had the record for over a decade... insanely impressive :O
w so big he used Wario
W so big dasher had to use wario
NO WAY! SM63 Music here? And my favorite track from said game too? All I can say is "I Feel Very Honored!"
I have a question. I've noticed that in the videos of mdksabel or taiga or mkdasher the game graphics looks better than my 3DS. So I assume that they are playing in an emulator, I am right?
All gameplay is performed on original Nintendo DS hardware. The ghost data is then transferred on to an emulator and using upscaled graphics is played back and recorded.
@@mkdsabel I might understand half the explanation you gave me. Don't you mind if you make a video explaining how to record and/or upload mkds runs?

why does dasher use wario here
Just because he can, to be honest. Character doesn't matter on tracks without off-road
No particular reason other than using Dry Bones all the time on tracks with no off-road can get a little boring for a lot of players. Maybe some (it might be the case with him), alternate between characters because some have 'stronger' visual feedback when performing mini turbos - i.e Waluigi's knees wiggling or R.O.B.'s arms swinging from left to right.
because the the w in wario stands for wr
^ true facts
Wario was more fat so he was faster than toad down hile ofc
Incorrect but nice guess.
