On the other hand, playing as a Shoto and finding a mirror match-up is literally the most fun I've had online. Constantly doing stupid combos and shield breaking each other every 2 seconds.

Little Mac is actually one of the scariest fighters even though he’s trash, he’s still very fast and unpredictable with his neutral and it’s hard to get to the ground against him

@@Moonshine1234 honestly losing to little Mac isn’t that bad, he’s a very tricky character to play against, especially trying to approach him on ground with the super armour he has
Mac on the ground is extremely good. If you're playing a character who doesn't jump alot then it might not be a fun time lol
Mac should have been on this list, just seeing Mac with the K.O. can be really scary. And since he's a neutral based character, he punishes for those who are playing the neutral wrong and if you don't edge guard him. He's bad, but I believe he is scarier than many of the characters that they mentioned.
Little Mac is my Kryptonite
This "esam is rambling" skit was by far the best one, wonderful editing.

I'm scared of Little Mac, especially online, because they Zoom at you at the speed of a bullet and alot of the times your moves clash with Mac's Super Armor.
Yep, plus you can't react to his smash attacks and it's harder to edge guard him
I was surprised Sephiroth wasn't on there, I think he's very scary once that wing comes out.
Little Mac is a bit scary too even though he's garbage.
Sephiroth for sure, but I know if you're at a certain skill level Little Mac kinda just loses always
@@enumthunder Little Mac should always lose and he almost always does, but you're still scared of his one-shot. Not scared to lose, more scared of getting K.Od and lose one stock.
If Mac had good recovery that character would be a beast, 1f jab, armor moves and crazy one-hit kills.
They put some garbage characters in here as well for the same reason, like Luigi. Not scared to lose, just scared to lose a stock for no effort.
Sephiroth range and how he takes you're jump so easily is just too good, and then he just octoslashes you at 20 and you lose a set. You literally can't get in on sephiroth and when you do he grabs you and takes your jump and now you're halfway off the screen with no jump. Sephiroth absolutely destroys any character belo high tier
He's scary because your mistakes are so costly.

Despite him being bad, dk is really scary because of cargo throw and the fact that he snowballs FAST in advantage. If his disadvantage wasn't so abysmal he'd be one of the scariest to play

I play Hero, If you want to beat me all you have to be able to do is apply pressure without being super committal. My Fair and Bair come out slow so I usually lose in the air. If you get hard read and die to a critical smash attack its because you were rushing in. Probably the scariest thing I have are my edge guards with kaboom, thwack and magic burst.

Bowser: Quick for his weight, tough guy, powerful, super-armored smashes
Kazuya: Incredibly powerful, Rage Drive
Little Mac: As TravPlay put it, he can smell fear when the bell rings for his KO punch.
Luigi: My priority is avoiding his grab.
Joker: When Arsene is out, but I know I have to go in anyway bc it loses time when he gets hit.
Peach/Daisy: Really annoying float combos
Kaz is literally Tekken in Smash and that’s scary in itself
I play Bowser non competitively online, so when I run into Puff, I’m soooooo happy (Puff is a great matchup in Bowsers favor)
Tbf bowser also wins the bayo matchup which means he probably wins most matchups 😂
Would be cool to see a "best characters in theory" list! Like I know they mentioned Kazuya and Shulk is obvious but I'm sure there are other characters that they think are really good in theory but no one actually does the things

Snake is probably in my top 10 scariest, if he ever gets momentum in his favor it becomes so hard and frustrating to win it back, particularly if you are playing someone with a bad recovery. Even bad snakes can get edge guards with nikita.
I disagree about the bad players with Nikita part. I hardly get hit by Nikita vs Snakes even though I play Terry and Ryu/Ken And I'm sure competent players won't get hit by "bad" Snakes edge guards as much. But I do think if the Snake player is really smart, adapts well and gains momentum, it's hard to gain it back. You can download a Snake, but if he downloads you back, it's over, he has a lot of options to turn a match around.
Idk why, but playing yodelling in meadow hill as soon as someone mention kazuya is lil bit out of place but at the same time is not so out of place.
The mii fighters are kinda scary cuz you don’t know what moves they choose until they use them

To answer the question about ZSS, yes people are scared. Because at any random moment I could get nair flip kicked at low percent, and now I just gotta hold that.
Accurate about min min being like melee puff. Not for the reasons esam said tho, it's because every single one of them deserves to have a crab chucked at them

Little Mac scares me, he's so fast and if you play sloppy he can just destroy you, and if you lose to a random Mac in bracket it's like wow I just lost to such a bad character. I've also played Peanut a lot and he's insanely good, so losing can happen.
I'd only put in Joker instead of Bayo. He's not super duper scary, but he can kill super early. Definitely waaaay scarier than Bayo.

I'd swap rob with min min, or pika. Rob has such a big hurt box that combos and advantage state are basically free.

I think leaving Snake out of the sweating list is a crime. He’s punishable, but his weight and the general public’s lack of adaptation make him horrifying for most players.
To be fair, ESAM probably has the most snake mu knowledge in the world, and Marss thinks the character is predictable.
@@mrmarool3618 100%. But also to be fair they mentioned the general/casual player base multiple times to make justifications or counter arguments during the video. Uptilt alone makes even above average players overthink. Hell, we’ve watched top players get conditioned to fear snake mid match.

I'm genuinely not scared of Bayonetta at all, always felt like I know what I'm doing and picked up on good SDI really quick. I took sets off Bayonetta at PR level with smash 4 Yoshi, no problem
I am genuinely terrified of Min Min in this game though way more than I'd be of bayo, which honestly I'll still sweat for because of damage but they always struggle with killing so I catch up there. Min Min can just pop out a few surprises, and if they do something like read my jump or get a correct guess with a safe on shield tilt at low percent I will just explode at 30. If she gets a stock lead, I have to counterplay that and come back when she can continue to safely pelt me from half stage. I slept on min min at release, I understand what makes her broken now though and it's painful

I always start sweating when my buddy brings out Sephiroth. He can just neutral b camp for days and it’s so hard to do anything to it. But if that doesn’t work there’s also longest sword in the game, one winged angel, down b, etc. etc. I hate fighting Sephiroth
As a sephiroth main, neutral b is one of his worst moves. If you’re getting camped by it, you’re playing a bad character or refusing to approach smartly

Incineroar is scary to me because he has revenge, a stupid command grab, an up b that kills at zero if used correct offstage or can just down throw down air you if you DI wrong.
Little Mac, Donkey Kong, and Ryu/Ken are pretty scary

Mario is pretty terrifying. Because good or bad either way that Mario is gonna try and spike you each and every time time your off stage.

I would put Ike as a contender. While he is slow and not the best character, his hits can rack up and do so much damage.

Well-trained Belmonts are ridiculously scary if you're not using someone with a reflector.
Honestly I think good Kirbys or Little Macs are terrifying. Both are flawed and aren’t great compared to the others, but Kirby can go deep and far to edge guard and can combo you to 60-80. Little Macs are hard to predict and is very fast/strong in neutral.
“Usually the fast characters aren’t strong and the strong characters aren’t fast” and Chrom ALSO has a sword and a crazy combo game.
