- Three joyous days of prayer, magnificent Marian hymns, and international Catholic comradery culminate with the Traditional Latin Mass. 15,000 dedicated Catholic pilgrims have just completed nearly 70 miles of walking from Paris, France to the breathtaking Chartres Cathedral in the Medieval city of Chartres. As the line of faithful Catholic pilgrims processes out of the Chartres Cathedral, it is only fitting to conclude our uplifting journey with the heartfelt "Chez Nous, Soyez Reine" dedicated to Our Lady-Queen of Heaven and earth who watches over and protects all of us!
A special thank you to Mr. Michael Matt and his wonderful family who have been gathering pilgrims for decades to join their North American Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapter on their annual pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres.
This video is dedicated to Walter Matt whose inspiring photographic images ignited a flame of love for the Chartres Pilgrimage that will forever live in the hearts of our family members.

How the Church was allow to morf into the mess it is today is one beyond me. This is the true form of Catholic liturgy, with organ and ceremony, not the barn dance hoe-down format so commonly found in the US. Little wonder so many Catholics are going to traditional Episcopal churches.
It morphed into the fragmented mess it is in now because of false ecumsnism. The Latin Mass was changed for the same reasons. Our church has bent over backwards to attract and make it more acceptable to the Protestant churches and where has it got us? Enormous damage to our own church and faithful and that much hoped for union with Rome as far away as ever. Vatican 2 was a disaster for the Church, but we are still being told that it was a time of great renewal.

In some countries it’s wether this or mass with people dancing or clapping, or non canonical hymns. If the novus prod would be done like Vatican II prescribed it, less people would go to FSSP. And there’s no problem to go to the TLM if it’s in accordance with Rome and the bishop.

Les cathédrales gothiques ne viennent pas des goths mais de France.
Le but étant de créer des bâtiments plus hauts, la façon dont est bâti la structure permet une grande stabilité. Mais sinon c'est une idée francaise, qui était à l'époque un pays catholique.
La particularité de l'Église Catholique est qu'elle est universelle, les apports culturels ne sont pas interdits..
De plus, l'Église Catholique ne se réfère pas comme "Église Catholique Romaine".
Si on utilise le dernier terme c'est pour préciser le rite et rien d'autres.
@@praumat744 non, l'origine est nordique, provenant de "north men" qui sont arrivés et qui sont devenus "normands" en créant la normandie, l'école de Chartres, et donc l'art gothique dont la cathédrale de Chartres fut la première. La France n'existait pas à cette époque, et était encore la gaule. L'arrivée de ces hommes du Nord fait suite aux conversions forcées à un "dieu" unique dont l'origine viens de la mythologie sémitique, et plus particulièrement à cause du massacre de Verdun en Allemagne, où 4500 saxons furent décapités parce qu'ils refusaient de se soumettre. Voilà pourquoi la cathédrale de Chartres ne pointe pas vers l'est comme les autres, mais pointe vers ce lieu de massacre...ces hommes du nord sont arrivés sur des drakkars, qui signifie "dragon", d'où le mythe de "saint Michel" sur le dragon...si le dragon avait gagné, tu ne dirais pas d'âneries de ce genre. Le symbole de ce pays est un coq gaulois, ce n'est pas anODIN, et un personnage vient du grand nord chaque mois de décembre et qui devrait t'interpeler...arrête de croire bêtement, vérifie et tu sauras...tu auras l'esprit sain...le "saint esprit"...à méditer...
