What a fantastic job you guys did restoring that old jukebox to look absolutely beautiful 😁👍A lot patience and skill it took but it really paid off. BIG CONGRATS on an Amazing Job Joe & Joe & Chris🤗
Hey guys! Well that was a lot of work and patience lol. That’s a thing of beauty! I used to have an old Rowe Jukebox that I got working years ago. The one you guys did is the coolest one ever made. Outstanding job! Joe & Cris have grown an inch or two lol.
You're work on that machine is incredible. I have the same AMI Continental 2 jukebox that's in need of repair more than restoration. The only missing parts are the door to the coin box and the keys. It powers up when plugged in and the carousel goes around 1/2 way. Do you know anyone who repairs these? Thanks.
I have the AMI- XJKB-100, it is in very rough shape but complete. What would you ballpark a restoration would cost, just a ballpark idea. Thanks and great video.
Glad you enjoyed the video. A ground up restoration on this machine was over 7K. Keep in mind 4k of that was chrome plating. Chrome is definitely the most expensive part of the restoration process.
Thank you so much for the information, what's the differwnce between the KLM 100 and thw XJKB 100, do you know off hand? What would be the value of one that is intact, even with original records XJKB 100?
@@michaelkennedy2528 Ours is the XJDB 200. Two speed with 200 selections. The AMI K is a very desirable machine as well but I’m not exactly sure of value. Gotta be 4 to 5k if its decent and complete but that’s only an educated guess.
@@Coinazoid what do you mean by the AMI K? The KLM? I am very interested in what the XJKB stands for in the one I have. I know the 100 is for selections.
I really really want one of these but I am 55 and from the 80s metal generation so a lot of people would be mad if I stocked it when 80s music! I am probably not allowed it. Not into 50's and 60's although I would get Beatles Revolution 9 to upset Beatles fans!
Great video. I have the same exact jukebox, which was restored. The only thing I’m trying to figure out, did you find a template online to print out the songs? Thanks!
@@Coinazoid it’s has fading in the plastic and wood areas. The Chrome is pealing off. But all the glass / plastic are in great shape , not scratches in them. I just pulled this machine out of a Demo. So I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet.

Fabulous job, great video presentation
Wow! Beautiful!
Can we at least hear some "Sweet Home Alabama" on it? Really awesome job, that is a awesome piece.
Craaayy CRAAAAYY !!
Next... restoring lunar lander by Hooked on History.

Nice work. I'm still waiting on chrome parts to be finished to get mine back together.

I have a 1951 Seeburg that is just about done. I am also looking at a 1950’s AMI….what do you think about that restoration.
What did you do to fix the machine continuously cycling? I am repairing one of these for a client!
Cool

Very nice, but those red covers should be transparent to show the lighting from behind through. Lovely job though.
If you watch the entire video you would clearly see the translucent paint shows the light from behind perfectly
Great video.

Thanks!
We made our own template
What cartridge did you install in your Continental?
It’s a Pickering cartridge
Is the AMI for sale?
No not for sale, way too much work
But we still use coinz every day so we still punch juke box wid $10 not 10cent eny more
I have the same model. But it needs to be restored. If anyone wants to buy it. Make me a offer
