Great video as usual! However, ya missed a few things: - Sans has an additional piece of dialogue if you keep going back and forth: “say… are you following me?” - The symbol on the game box is supposed to be Flowey - The formatting of the Undertale Wiki designates dialogue which is exclusive to a certain path - like the yellow book, for instance - You can actually go to the fire exit during a play through where Lesser Dog is alive, by squeezing through a pathway between him and the bar. Not sure if this is intentional or not - If you walk back and forth between the kitchen and the living room, Papyrus will go faster and faster until sounds play, and eventually a jingle will play. If you wait until the sounds play, Papyrus will say: “WOW! BEING A GOOD HOST IS A REAL WORKOUT!” If you wait until the jingle plays he says: “I CAN’T FEEL MY LEGS…” “THAT MUST MEAN I’M BEING A GREAT HOST!!!” - The Switch version of Undertale has a boss fight against Mad Mew Mew inside Papyrus' sink, possessed by the spirit of the Mad Dummy in an obvious trans allegory, which is only accessible after beating Mettaton, and can be fought even after defeating the God of Hyperdeath; really funny and fun fight too. After fighting her, she replaces the Dummy in the True Pacifist Credits, representing her new identity as the Mew Mew doll
WOAH!! THE WHOLE Snowd in really made a lot of things click. I was wondering why the town name in the Japanese ver was changed to Snowfull instead of Snowdin and now it makes sense since the pun doesn't make sense in japanese, but with snowfull if you romanised the characters it turns into snow + furu. "Furu" meaning fall so it technically makes the town name mean snowing
3:26 I'm late but the reason it says the dog uses text to speech to program a whole game is because toby actually has a problem with his wrist so using the mouse is difficult since it hurts a lot. And instead he uses foot pedals to left and right click and then the TTS program to type. Thx for reading this :) _If you didn't then... idc I guess_
Glyde can be encountered on a genocide run after having killed monsters, there just has to be at least one left cause he counts towards the genocide count. I fought him on my second genocide run to see if there was a secret way to reach level 20 before killing Sans
About the shrine on the switch, there is no shrine, I’m pretty sure everyone already knows this but the shrine is replaced with a door that ( I think ) can only be accessed after defeating flowey/asdriel, you find mad mew mew ( aka mad dummy ) and the fight is based on the function of the switch joy cons where the heart is split into 2 parts and the joy sticks on each joycon control a half of the heart , it’s basically just muffin but with 2 hearts and vertical
Just wanna say, I can really see the effort out into the videos and I just wanna tell you to keep up the good work. These are really good and the amount of time and work put into this is amazing!! Hey, just watched all three of these videos you have out on this. Great work, thanks for making them. I was curious, do you agree that Gaster is the best hidden content ever in any game? The whole concept that he was completely erased, and anything to do with him fits that theme. You can only find remnants of Gaster and his closest friends with specific fun values. The one time you actually meet him, it's only for a moment in a room that doesn't exist. His name spoken resets the timeline. Alphys forgot who he was and went to work the next morning as the royal scientist in charge. Sans and Papyrus forgot they were good friends with Gaster and "just showed up one day" in Snowdin. The only way to access more info about him is through hacking, and it's in wingdings. The card made for him in the Undertale trading card game was removed from existence.
I think with the yellow book it's just telling you that (Some unfinished book) only appears during the genocide route since that lady won't be there to tell you she's still writing it
On the Nintendo Switch version, going under papyruses sink will be an area instead of the dog shrine, with a locked door and some other random stuff, after you beat the game and reload, you can go back and fight mew mew, who even has an exclusive mechanic involving the motion controls

3:54 With this weird texture, it could also just be Unrelated to the story as well, but who knows.
wait i just realised that unrelated is an anagram of undertale wtf
“Ahh, I miss Undertale. It’s sad that no one’s making new content for it any more.”
*- VIDEO WAS UPLOADED 1 WEEK AGO*
In the Nintendo Switch version of the game, You see a destroyed Dog Shrine with a red and blue door. (resembling the red and blue joycons.) If you go here after the MTT fight, and you tilt the analog sticks away from each other, the door will open. This will lead to the Mad Mew Mew fight. The one talking is the Mad Dummy, possessing the Mew Mew statue. FIGHT or ACT on it long enough and the fight will begin.
Well on the Nintendo switch version it is not a dog shrine but a mew mew figure that you can fight.
I love how Toby made this tiny town, and yet fit so many things in them. And thanks for going back and getting the secrets you missed in Snowdin Forest!
14:29 Correction, you _have_ to have fought Papyrus to get this room.
the [genocide route] for the yellow book means that in a normal route it says the normal dialogue, and in a genocide route it says "some unfinished book"
16:00 This could be a reference to a scene from the Pixar movie UP, or the scene itself could be a reference to the paintings
on the switch version once you meet mad dummy in a neutral or pacifist run and get into sans and papyrus' house you can fight a secret boss under the sink. (it also takes the shape of a doll from alphys' anime.

He forgot about Nintendo switches "Mad mew mew" fight
I'm so bad at it that it's almost funny
31:06 I think this is referencing something I heard about Sans talking to a lady behind a large door and they told jokes to each other...
Great video as usual! However, ya missed a few things:
- Sans has an additional piece of dialogue if you keep going back and forth: “say… are you following me?”
- The symbol on the game box is supposed to be Flowey
- The formatting of the Undertale Wiki designates dialogue which is exclusive to a certain path - like the yellow book, for instance
- You can actually go to the fire exit during a play through where Lesser Dog is alive, by squeezing through a pathway between him and the bar. Not sure if this is intentional or not
- If you walk back and forth between the kitchen and the living room, Papyrus will go faster and faster until sounds play, and eventually a jingle will play. If you wait until the sounds play, Papyrus will say: “WOW! BEING A GOOD HOST IS A REAL WORKOUT!” If you wait until the jingle plays he says: “I CAN’T FEEL MY LEGS…” “THAT MUST MEAN I’M BEING A GREAT HOST!!!”
- The Switch version of Undertale has a boss fight against Mad Mew Mew inside Papyrus' sink, possessed by the spirit of the Mad Dummy in an obvious trans allegory, which is only accessible after beating Mettaton, and can be fought even after defeating the God of Hyperdeath; really funny and fun fight too. After fighting her, she replaces the Dummy in the True Pacifist Credits, representing her new identity as the Mew Mew doll
Oh ! I didn't know you could actually get to the door behind Lesser Dog !
9:24 "If you ask about the town history..."
...
What.
What happens if you ask about the town history?
I NEED TO KNOW
Lol sorry, I think that's an editing mistake. I'll get that cut out of the video rather than leaving in a 2 second comment that leads nowhere
@@2leftthumbs
But what happens when you ask about the town history?
@@DementedDuskull ...but nobody came.
After so much time... I think i'm gonna cry...
25:49 this is actually the first time I ever saw this bit of dialogue. I've been an Undertale fan since 2017
3:26
something to add here, Toby actually coded most of undertale with Speech to Text.
I wonder who “Jimmy Hotpants” truly is…
3:26 I'm late but the reason it says the dog uses text to speech to program a whole game is because toby actually has a problem with his wrist so using the mouse is difficult since it hurts a lot. And instead he uses foot pedals to left and right click and then the TTS program to type.
Thx for reading this :)
_If you didn't then... idc I guess_
Glyde can be encountered on a genocide run after having killed monsters, there just has to be at least one left cause he counts towards the genocide count.
I fought him on my second genocide run to see if there was a secret way to reach level 20 before killing Sans
You are so close to 100 thousand and it makes me so happy to see your channel growing!
You’re easily my favourite game theorist. Take your time as I’m sure waterfall is gonna take a hell of a long time. Cant wait to see more
You know what I noticed? Snowdin's librarbian looks kinda like Berdly, but green and with different clothing.
26:15 Note with Sans drinking the ketchup, that's a big hint that in the Genocide Route that the 'blood' you see coming from his mouth and wound isn't blood. It's actually ketchup.
Im starting to feel like flowey, I already know everything about undertale.
Thats why I liked the video, it taught me something new, the control thing :D
Thats hilarious.
I think the yellow book mean that if you interact in Genocide route, it will show the (Some unfinished book.) text instead?
omg I was binge watching all the Undertale/Deltarune Easter Eggs this week hoping for the new episode, feels like christmas!!
Hey, dumb suggestion but if you have sanity to spare could you do an Easter egg video on Bloons tower defense. If anything just doing 5 is fine.
Is that game very reference heavy? I had no idea. It's been a long while since I played any Bloons games
@@2leftthumbs well, not VERY, but across the entire franchise there are certainly references in the towers, the achievements, and the monkey knowledge.
Probably enough for a 15 minute video.
But, you can be the judge of that.
@@2leftthumbs Not extremely, but there’s 100% enough content to make a good-lengthed video.
Handplates is my favourite theory as to where sans and papyrus came from
Note that the game box in the corner of the developer room can also be found in the mettaton bomb puzzle. Doesn't mean anything. probably
Love this series keep up the great work, also any predictions on when Deltarune chapter 2 comes out based off Tobys recent tweet.
I'd he's just wrapping up Chapter 2, I imagine some of the other Chapters will have seen meaningful progress as well. Whether that's story, music, or anything else.
But I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the very end of 2022 is the earliest we'd see anything
@@2leftthumbs well I guess I’m optimistic
This series is my favorite set of compilations by far. To speed things up, any chance of crowdsourcing secrets and footage?
Seeing the dialogue when you kill papyrus actually makes me feel horrible. And i didn’t even do it!

2 Left Thumbs: _Talking about books in books_
IHop: *may i interest you in pa nca ek*
If you walk back and forth between the sans teleporting screens he’ll say “Are you following me?”
I think with the yellow book it's just telling you that (Some unfinished book) only appears during the genocide route since that lady won't be there to tell you she's still writing it
u can also date papyrus and its really funny like its like a mini game but dating he ends up rejecting u at the end so don’t bother lol
On the Nintendo Switch version, going under papyruses sink will be an area instead of the dog shrine, with a locked door and some other random stuff, after you beat the game and reload, you can go back and fight mew mew, who even has an exclusive mechanic involving the motion controls
How long until we get one for waterfall? 30 months?
i was wholeheartedly not expecting to see fancy pants ever again in my life
time to boot up steam
Snowdin and Waterfall were always my favorite parts of this game. The atmosphere is just right.
The hot dog in the dog bowl is so funny, because anyone who owned dogs has probably done that at least once.
I'm a little scared by the fact that, I knew absolutely all the secrets and easter eggs that were in the video ...
The turning Xs to Os could be a reference to the song maybe
I think that the wrong number call person was trying to call grillby😅
Papyrus always makes the bars way too wide.
