Great tutorial my friend. A month ago i watched another tutorial and it helped a little bit when i changed the light bulb but it didn’t show the tricks that you used. I spent 40 mins changing the light bulb because it was hard to get it out and even harder to get it back in. It sucks that i first connected the light bulb and then put it in its place that’s why the light bulb was a little bit off when i drove the car. Today i had some time to finally put the light bulb correctly and did it in 10 minutes with the help of your tricks. Thanks again for the tricks and the tutorial
So many thanks for posting this - you saved my NYE! I found the hardest part reseating the unit - being winter I was paranoid I might split the plastic bumper grille but mercifully I didn't (wonder how many new ones Ford have happily supplied!). Also lucky that the failed dip beam bulb was a standard H7 55W for which I had a spare.
Thank you for this. I've just changed both of my headlamps and there's no way I would have been able to remove the headlamp casing without the 'trick' with the inside corner. You've just saved me a painful trip to Halfords and £18!
Thats great. Thanks for the tutorial. I have a dead wide bulb i have to change. Also on the same side the main hulb only comes out n after i tive it a bunp on yhe outaide. I hope its just a loose connection.
And now that you’ve handled the globes with your bare fingers they’ll blow very soon due to the oils on your hands! 🤦♂️. Always use gloves or clean with spirits!

It was a little trick the first time with the inner corner. I carefully used a flat screwdriver to "bend" the corner in or out.

The connections at 02:05 are not on my headlamp - all I can see are some posts - why is this?
Do you have Mondeo mk4? Strange, the headlight must ve connected, it should be there. Could it have broken off, by any chance?
