Just found this.....I have always loved the ride. But the ride soundtrack with the MOVIE soundtrack....makes it even more creepier. I made the mistake of listening to this in the dark and during a thunderstorm. And I am legit scared to go to sleep now. PERFECT EDITING. I applaud you mate.
LucasLight Thank you very much! Good to know this can give someone the heebie-jeebies! If this is your sort of thing, you might also enjoy the spooky content I produce on my other channel, Midnight Marinara. Cheers!
Stumbled upon this by accident when I found out there was a score available via You Tube for the film. Absolutely love this - totally brilliant!!! - You've done a fantastic job of the blending of the music score and the original Disney voice over from the mansion ... Fantastic!
I really enjoy that there is backing music during the monologue in the portrait gallery. The ride nor the accompanying soundtrack does not have any music behind it during this part of the ride.
This is so great! Sounds like the file music was made for the ride. Such a neat idea. Its very nicely blended and very well made. Awesome job!! Love it!!
First, this is amazing, and I would definitely ride this (even though I would definitely ride the original one, you get my point xD) Secondly, I really appreciate the information you provided in the description :) Good job!
This mix should be used in a special edition overlay of the ride, like the anniversary or something. Without disrespecting the original, this mix is darker, creepier, and more dramatic, and I LOVE IT!
Very good! I did something very similar of just the entry and elevator portion. Unfortunately I didn't have an isolated track of the Ghost Host so you can still hear the original attraction background music. But I like what you did here! Great job.
Such a shame such beautiful music and some cool effects are wasted in this movie. I hate what they did to the Haunted Mansion concept and script in the movie that does no justice to the original ride. YET AGAIN, the music and that incrédible openings scene are gorgeous!
I think they were trying too hard to find a balance between funny and scary, only to lean more towards more "funny" than "scary" while trying to tell a story about the Mansion. However, I can't really blame the filmmakers, as the actual ride doesn't have too much of a story besides the Mansion being a "retirement home" for ghosts from all over the world.
This music oddly fitting for a HM ride and not a movie. Makes me think of the haunted mansion that never was like the one that was planned to be off of main street USA.
it would be cool if a new Disney park in the states opened and used this soundtrack or a similar one for its haunted mansion, I would go there for sure even just to ride HM
Or did one where the exterior was exactly like the movie, with a twist on the ride(no eddie murfy or movie references) and people can walk through the swamp, see the graveyard on the side like in the movie(have it be an optical illusion) and have a walkthrough graveyard at the back.
I love the queue area all the way through the loading area, I actually wouldn't mind if they actually put that into the ride... Even though there was so much wrong with the movie, the score was great, as was the set design.
The should of switched the audio to the attraction for the opening of the movie....maybe just switch it in and out periodic for the theatrical opening of my movie! oh well
Well... They added Johnny Depp because Pirates was successful, the chances of Eddie Murphy coming would be highly unlikely... Because the Haunted Manaion movie was not as successful

lol nah the added LOUD music takes so much away from the atmosphere and makes it less scary.
I have the movie score on CD 2 disc edition and absolutely love the creepy ambience and music they used
Exellent blend , great job 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻

The transition between the soundtrack and the ride is seamless, the selection of themes is superb. You did a really fine job here, thanks.
I love imagining stuff like this. The soundtrack was one of the best things to come out of the film.
You did a great job mixing this. It feels really natural. I'm impressed. Now I sort of wished they'd use this on the mansions from now on.
Nothing short of perfect.

It does. It's just mostly toned down.
I really like this, it sounds of a similar style to Phantom Manor! And really fits well.
EXCELLENT! Thank you so much for uploading this!! I love how you mixed it...GENIUS!
This is a definite treat! Thanks for taking the time to create and post!
That attic sequence music would be perfect for the original opening day Beating Heart (Corpse) Bride.
Chilling and thrilling....I love how GGG was very subtly woven into the soundtrack. Great mix!
OMG THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!! VERY GREAT!!! IT MAKES THE RIDE SO MUCH CREEPIER!!!
Imagine if they did this when the 2003 movie came out for the ride…

Yay.
I've never really listened to the OST of the movie, now I want too
Felt like I was experiencing the ride all over again
This video gives me great delight.
ok cool.

Cutelatinguy2 my dumb ass didn’t realize it was an elevator until they accidentally left the door open and I could hear the beeping.
THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!!!!
ok.
Film movie.
Love it great job well done it seems soo real
Love this, so awesome!
So brilliant!
AMAZING!
Great job
Great job.

This is awesome! Great idea!

IMO, the movie has its flaws, but so much better than what we got with the Muppets Haunted Mansion…

@@cameronholladay3605 dude, what was wrong with Muppets Haunted mansion? I thought that movie was hilarious.
@@Crimson_Snake1 no, it was good. I just thought it would be spookier, but then again, it’s for kids anyway, mainly.
@@cameronholladay3605 yeah. But when John Stamos turned into a monster. That scared the hell out of me the first time.

NukeDetonator yeah!

@chipsygirl Glad you liked it. ^^
But l'm guessing, not that one.
OOoooo can you upload the ridethru for Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney?
The should of switched the audio to the attraction for the opening of the movie....maybe just switch it in and out periodic for the theatrical opening of my movie! oh well
What is the soundtrack theme Bing play during the foyer? I can’t seem to find it anywhere in the soundtrack list
The Ghost Host appeared behind the tombstone, and the zombie looked exactly like him.
Will you also do the Tower of Terror music with the movie soundtrack? Same with Pirates of the Caribbean?
My favorite movie is
The haunted mansion
@JasonMcMahanIsOnline Thanks much!
Yeees.
where did you get the score from?! I love it
Could you make an instrumental of this?
please make one with the new movie
Film Score Ridehru.
Well, duh! No shit. Sherlock!

Uuuuuh.
😮😮😮😮😮😮
If they put 3 animatronic Johnny Depps on Pirates of the Caribbean, what if they put an animatronic Eddie Murphy on the haunted mansion?
Well... They added Johnny Depp because Pirates was successful, the chances of Eddie Murphy coming would be highly unlikely... Because the Haunted Manaion movie was not as successful
Okay ok.
Yeah. No. He couldn't fit anywhere
