Hey Megan! I truly feel the same way with how you feel on the customer service and the turnaround time that these companies or small businesses take when placing orders. Hands down 💯agree ❤. Love all your Wips. And it’s such a beautiful time for you as a mom to share with all of us your joy💙
Following You Dear Megan in Reno,Nevada…..here for a Memorial of the last living Matron age 99 in out family……had a wonderful shop experience at Acorn and Threads in Portland……an amazingly wonderful experience amongst “ our people “ haha…..
I've been binging your channel and I'm just loving it. I'm new to cross stitching as of January 4th. And I'm loving it so much. Glad I found your channel and congratulations on your pregnancy. ❤
Hello! There's a cross stitch store in Richland, WA - Needful Needlecraft, just in case you're ever over this way! LOVE all the Quakers! I haven't stitched a quaker yet but I really like the Rose quaker.
So funny my aunt messaged me to tell me that! I NEED to check it out. I know it’s a drive but everyone said good things in the comments so far. I’d never even heard of it. Rose Quaker is soooo pretty!
Counting your blessings is the best. Everyday an adventure. I taught school for 38 yrs., and no one was more excited for the monthly Scholastic order to arrive than I was. Lol love the Book Fairs, too. I have been using a beautiful red in a sampler that is a Sulky Petite. I watched a video where a lady had completed a Christmas Quaker similar to yours, but the one I purchased that used used the spools of Sulky green. I prefer two threads over two for that bolder look, and the Sulky is the width of two threads. I'm enjoying sewing with this bold looking single thread. Amazon has pkgs. of 5 spools so well-priced of different colors. I also bought it in black for my Halloween projects. Always enjoy your videos. Take care.
Book Fair is the best!! We went today and she got some great books she was so excited. I definitely need to check out the sulky threads thanks for the reminder. I only hear good things.
I absolutely love that you are honest about your experiences with businesses - we need more of that instead of the constant gushing that everything is wonderful. Maybe some people don't mind waiting 6 months to receive an order, but I do! If I'm ordering something it's because I want to use it, not wait forever.
Hello, my beautiful sweet friend!! I’ve missed you! You know, I was trying to put my finger what was different about you this time, and @ 53:18, there it was! You said, “I’ve just been enjoying life”! You definitely have a glow and joy that is coming through, and it makes me so happy! 😊 The colors of your fabric and floss in the Beatrix project are just stunning together. 🧡 Ditto for the Theresa Kogut Halloween piece…I love those colors! Now, when you held up your shawl, I gasped out loud…that is GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing all that. I also want to applaud your future plans; I’m very proud of the way you’ve thought everything out, and are making such great goals…you are a wise woman, my friend! And lastly, I was so tickled by your and Amira’s new beauty find for her hair! It’s adorable, and the routine you have with her each morning is so special and empowering. You go, girls!! Until next time, keep on enjoying y’all’s blessings! Much love, Meline.
Thank you so much, Meline. You are just the best. I love you and all your kindness. I just appreciate it so much. You always make my day. Amira and I have been having so much fun with her hair. I think she wants to do blue next time 😂🤍. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend and happy Halloween!
Congrats on everything!! You look healthy and fantastic and i love how you are trying to slow the moment down a bit and enjoy every minute! You are so right, once that moment is gone, it’s gone.
I’m also so obsessed with Quaker’s right now! Love seeing all your knitting projects even though I don’t knit. 😂 the tiny sweaters are so freakin cute.
I started my flosstube while 8 months pregnant 😅 I did find I got more stitching done up until we got more mobile and needed more entertainment. Now that we are walking and back into independent play, the stitching is slowly picking back up. I’ll be going back to work when you have your boy so that stitch time will disappear again. Your knitting is fantastic and so speedy!
Tribizon is used right off the spool it is a pearl cotton that is equal to dmc pearl cotton size 5. Not for small count cross, not to be unwound! stitch. Happy Mood Point on Etsy is alive and well! I order from them all the time!!
I so support you giving your true honest experience. I have lately experienced some of the same with a "dyer" on several transactions and I know if I ask if others have had the same experience I will be blasted. It is a bit disheartening to feel like we need to explain ourselves when expressing how we feel as a consumer. You are so right regarding the "holding" of funds while experiencing a lack of communication or consistently missing a ship by date.
Some of these shops really need to be talked about. 🫣 There are some that are notorious for not shipping order but it’s seems like pulling teeth to get that information out of people sometimes LOL. I totally get it though because people will get so so upset that you say one off thing about their favorite shops ya know. It’s so tricky.
Great video!! I love the tinsel in your daughter’s hair! So cute. The Beatrix Potter piece is gorgeous! I’m so happy that you are enjoying this season of life. ❤
Hi Megan. Loved all your stitching and your Lilli Pilli is gorgeous! I'm trying to finish a sweater before I start any new knitting but I think that shawl will be next up on my starts! The glitter in Amira's hair is so pretty. I will have to tell my niece about it being on Amazon. She has taken her daughter a couple times to the hair salon to get it done and she loves it but it's so expensive! I'm sure that she will be thrilled to be able to do it herself. You look beautiful and I'm so glad that you are relishing in this time of life! Have a great few weeks and Happy Stitching:)
Thank you so much! Yea pass along the hair tinsel news lol. The whole kid was only $9 on Amazon which is such a good deal for all you get. I’m having so much fun doing it too.
So good to catch up with all the haps at your place :) loved your progress, and your rationale for satisfying your shop needs! Hope you keep doing well for the next part of the baby journey :) - take care, Nic x
Hi Megan, loved your floss tube! I always look forward to your videos… Your happy personality and your beautiful work make your videos so enjoyable! My granddaughter is two months old, so it is fun to hear about your coming baby boy! Enjoy every minute, it goes so fast! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work and happy Halloween! baby boy
Congratulations on everything!! I have a 3 year old girl so it is fun to hear about all the fun we have to look forward to! We also get a lot of motorcycles ugggh lol
Hi Megan! I must say, I share your love of quakers❤...they are so beautiful and each one is like a little motif unto itself. For me, it's the beauty and the fact that they are "quick" stitches and can be finished and give a sense of accomplishment. Also, I am just starting to add color work to my knitting skills, the quaker cross stitch charts can double as a colorwork pattern and has been great practice...I do look forward to seeing your videos in my feed, keep up the great work! 😀
Thank you for watching! Ya know what’s funny is when I first started stitching I thought that too! They looks just like colorwork charts lol. I love it. Hope you have a great weekend.
I can relate to your customer service comment and completely agree. I am making a comeback to cross stitch after a 27 year hiatus. I have started with some smaller projects first. My bigger stitch goal is the Midnight Watch pattern and have it kitted up for a winter stitch and hoping to complete by Halloween next year. However, I will probably display year round. Congratulations on your son!
Hi this is the first time I got to watch your video and just wanted to let you know we have a nice cross stitch shop in Richland, Washington called Needful NeedleCrafts.
I agree about the customer service comment. It is constructive feedback. I love the hair tinsel! My daughter's college softball team puts in their school colors for big games.
Thank you! And I absolutely love that. We took Amira to a bouncy house place this past weekend and o felt like the coolest mom because the teen girls all told amira how cute her hair was LOL. 🥰🥰
I love watching your videos, you have such beautiful work, I love Quaker’s too. You had me in tears at the end of the video with your sweet love of life. 😢
Unfortunately for the silk bugs all throughout history we have killed the moths before they hatch from the cocoon. That is how silk is harvested. There is only one method in existence Ahimsa silk production but I doubt any of our hand dyed silks are using this because the price would be through the roof. Personally I am not concerned about moths but totally understand that some may be.
Hi Megan!! I know you started Away We Ride already but I just watched Sarcygurl’s FT where she overdyes some DMC with with a black rit dye in black or a charcoal gray! They turned out really cool so thought maybe next time you have to switch out a floss and need it darker that could be a possibility! I am going to give it a try on one of her freebie patterns! I love all the Quakers and don’t think your Christmas one is failed; just needing to change floss is all that is needed, but I know you already know that! Love all the projects and hope you are feeling well! Happy Stitching!
Thank you, Patricia! Hope you’re doing well and happy Halloween. That’s such a great idea for the floss. Thank you for passing it along I definitely want to give that a try. I pulled out the Christmas one and picked new flosses from stash, I decided on some greens and reds with a white thrown in all DMC and I am still excited about it. I think it’s going to look great. Not sure when I’ll restart it but the mood will strike eventually. 🤍
You won’t have to do much convincing! I’m already on board! I also have a big yard to let all the kids play while we stitch away on the porch! And after these babies are here we can have momosa’s together! 😂
HI! Love the WIP parade. And I so appreciate your honesty!!!!! You are entitled to sharing your experience and giving us a "heads up". I know with certain hand dyers they will post on their shop the wait time and manage your expectations. Where other take your money and then you want MONTHS, send emails and no response. So, there is no way to get any update, cancel and get your money back, etc. So, thank you for your honesty and sharing your experiences. And I, too, love Quakers!!!! Also, I am totally with you on the NO BUY until 2025!!! My stash is a small shop - I do not have an LNS anywhere close by --- in fact in Georgia at all. So, I am with you on stash shopping. And the NO BUY
Yes! I totally know what you mean about some shops just not giving any kind of updates. It’s really frustrating and I wish I’d known about some before ordering. Thank you for understanding that it’s not a jab at the business it’s just my experience with them ya know. I totally need all the support I can get on our no buy LOL. Keep my updated on how it goes for you!
Hi Megan!!! You look adorable!! I simply love everything you do, you have amazing taste!! How have you been feeling? I have not been stitching since the end of August due to a bad eye infection. It has now been 6 weeks, and I still don’t know how it happened. I will be back to it soon! I am ready to stitch Christmas, forget Halloween for me.😂
Hi Debra! I am so sorry to hear that about your eye! That’s the worst. Hope you get some stitching time soon ☺️🤍. I’ve been feeling really tired and my heartburn is just killing me but I’m pushing through! I can’t wait for Christmas. Mostly because I can’t wait to eat everything. Extra TUMS that day for sure. 😂😂💕
Years ago I had a hair dresser that had the tinsel and she used me as a model to get more clients unfortunately I don't think it ever caught on until now. Lol
Thank you for your honesty. I agree. Don’t take my money and then ghost me. Hire someone to answer your emails (communication). Just found you. Enjoyed your video.
Hey Meghan. Nice to see you. I love Quakers as well. I find that I enjoy using the stitched part to complete the whole. I find it really fun to imagine it in reverse or upside down or whatever. I just enjoy doing that. I have a question. I absolutely love the Rose Quaker and have long wanted to get the chart, but I am having serious challenges finding it. Where did you get yours? Do you recall? Could you let me know? I'd appreciate it. Oh, and as to being honest about your reviews, I have to say I appreciate that. I too find that I have some places that are not so great at responding. What I try to do is give them a second chance. If there is still the same sort of non- or slow response, then I will drop them. I think it's always good to give second chances. I have been given so many chances in my life that I think I can pay it forward a bit. Just my thoughts, but I certainly don't hate you for your thoughts or opinions. I appreciate all that you said. Good to see you and all the best for little baby growing along!
Here is the link to rose Quaker www.wiehenburg-design.com/quaker-style-samplers/rose-quaker/?fbclid=IwAR3DmCU5bTuOlqzBVNb1XUocpYVPG6yjVmP7e1Yu7olP_u9tfi74Igef_wI It’s a bit of an odd one because they will send you a personalized copy in about a day but it’s because they add your name to the bottom of the pages so that you can’t distribute them. Totally agree on second chances, I’m still going to give my honest reviews overall and I appreciate you understanding that it’s not meant to be rude. 🤍🤍🤍
FYI. Trebizond silk is my least favorite silk as it works best on an 18 count linen over 2 or can be used for Hardanger. For 28 or 32 count, Soie d’Alger, NPI, or any other 6-strand or 12 strand silk is best 😊
Hey beautiful! I just happened to be working on Midnight Watch while watching 😂 I have big plans to WIP down with *very*limited starts next year so we can keep each other accountable! As always, your stitching and knitting is fantastic - that shawl is GORGEOUS! Hope you have a fun Halloween with the fam.
Hi Megan. Never apologize for your opinions. If I do not get good service, I let people know! And... never, ever apologize for your love of Quakers! That is from a fellow Quaker lover...lol.

Side note: as a non-American, it makes me sad that 4 months off is considered a long maternity leave where you live and that your main concern about giving birth is how you will pay for it.
Hello, I have been watching your videos and you do such amazing work and have such a sweet personality. I have to say, I personally think it's very important to give honest feedback even if it may not be in favor of the merchant. I wouldn't want to spend my money somewhere with out at least a heads up of what could possibly happen. And you built your feedback sandwich very well 😂 (Positive + Need some work + Positive)
Thank you so much for understanding! I just want to be honest and tell people my own experiences ya know. No hate it’s just my true experience. I feel like when I first started ordering things I just had no idea what to expect because you never really get a heads up with a lot of shops that are out there.
Love seeing you enjoy life and living in the present.
Thank you Sarah! Hope you’re doing well.

It’s a bit of an odd one because they will send you a personalized copy in about a day but it’s because they add your name to the bottom of the pages so that you can’t distribute them.
Thank you!! 🤍🤍
Omg yes please keep my accountable LOL! I need to get these WIPs under control. Hope you have a nice Halloween too.
🦉 I throughly enjoyed all your shares. Congratulations on your second pregnancy! I liked and subscribed to your channel so I can see more❣️
Thank you! 🤍☺️🤍
@@TheSeattleStitcher you’re welcome 😊
Hi Megan. Never apologize for your opinions. If I do not get good service, I let people know! And... never, ever apologize for your love of Quakers! That is from a fellow Quaker lover...lol.
Thank you, Carol! 🤍🤍🤍 happy stitching friend.
Have you checked out Au Ver A Soie 100/3? 🤗
I know I have some of their silks but I haven’t used the 100/3 I don’t think. That’s the very fine thread right?
Hello from Texas! Could you please tell me who is the designer for the Rose quaker sampler? TIA 🙂

Here is a link to the site! Happy stitching 🤍🤍
Off topic but where did you get your glasses? So cute
They are from Zinff optical. I love them!
Side note: as a non-American, it makes me sad that 4 months off is considered a long maternity leave where you live and that your main concern about giving birth is how you will pay for it.
The reality of being an American is pretty sad sometimes. 😞🙃
I just found your channel and enjoyed your floss tube immensely!😊 Love your stitches!😊
@user-gj2eb6tc9n thank you so much!
