lock it up and you gon learn were both amazing tracks as well as the single darkness that landed on it. A few other really fun tracks on there too that I enjoyed, it’s just kneecapped by a couple bad tracks and some corny lines scattered throughout. I also think his cadence could have been a bit more varied, and there could have been a little more creative liberty. Overall a 7/10 for me

Idk…I just think he showed more versatility on the next 2 albums. SSLP was great, but it was a little 1 note. My only real criticism. MMLP went from songs like Real Slim Shady to Way I Am to Stan. And then other ones like Under the influence, Drug Ballad, Kim. Production on it was fantastic. I’d give it the edge, but like I said I can understand SSLP #1. I often find myself in mood listen to it. Em was loose and off the cuff. Self deprecative and funny, but also not over the top (like he got to be with Encore). Just imo you got that top 3 by good margin. I’d prob go MMLP2 #4, but it’s interchangeable for me between that, Kamikaze, MTBMB, Recovery, and now Death of SS is in that next tier. I like it a lot…it’s better than 3 albums I’m not a huge fan of (Relapse, Encore, Revival). Even on Relapse and Encore, there are tracks I like, but I wasn’t a huge fan of those albums overall. I moreless agree. But while SSLP is great, eminem show and MMLP have more depth and aged better. So I'd move SSLP to A tier. Also Kamikaze is short with only a handful of memorable tracks and not as replayable as the other B tier albums so I'd move it to C.

I always felt like Encore didn't get the love it deserved. With how massive Em was in the early 2000s, there was inevitably going to come a point where he peaked, and I think Encore lives in the shadow of The Eminem Show. I think it fares a lot better in retrospect than it did when it came out
Actually this is one of the few Anthony lists I agree with and it just so happens to be with my favorite artist. MTBMB is definitely better then kamikaze, relapse is great but is not on the same level as his first three, encores placement is justified, and personally I would put both MMLP and TES at S tier since TES is my personal favorite

The biggest sin I see here is Relapse, that is a A-tear minimum, arguably S. I understand people were a little shook over the entire accent thing but every single song on that record is great and most are incredible, 3 AM, My Mom, Hello, Same Song and Dance, Medicine Ball, Stay Wide Awake, Deja Vu, Beautiful, Underground… Didn’t mention the commercially successful ones like We Made You and Crack A Bottle because I wasn’t the biggest fan of them, and let’s not talk about Insane for obvious reasons. Other than that MMLP2 is in my eyes an A or B, I listened to it hundreds of times when it initially was released so there’s a heavy nostalgia there for me.

The biggest sin I see here is Relapse, that is a A-tear minimum, arguably S. I understand people were a little shook over the entire accent thing but every single song on that record is great and most are incredible, 3 AM, My Mom, Hello, Same Song and Dance, Medicine Ball, Stay Wide Awake, Deja Vu, Beautiful, Underground… Didn’t mention the commercially successful ones like We Made You and Crack A Bottle because I wasn’t the biggest fan of them, and let’s not talk about Insane for obvious reasons.
Other than that MMLP2 is in my eyes an A or B, I listened to it hundreds of times when it initially was released so there’s a heavy nostalgia there for me.
