He records an intro for every player and every possible injury. It's the only explanation.
🤣
*3 hours into recording every possible intro and injury*
“Welcome back guys, I’m DR Brian Sutterer, and in this video it appears Cowboys punter Bryan Anger lacerated his kidney while celebrating his touchdown run on a fake punt”
You just reminded me of one of my favorite sketches from SNL (intended for the Dana Carvey Show before it was canceled)! The Tom Brokaw Pre-Tapes, where he supposedly records all the potential ways former President Gerald Ford could die (he was still alive at that time).

Hurts finger was definitely dislocated
Lol, yes that is the only explination
Also how cbs or espn or whatever hasn't reached out and gotten you live on standby for an injury report is insane... youre so good at presenting with a neutral tone and the complicated content of sports injuries disgustable in laymens terms
Would be great to see too
They'd never do it. That would cause the coaches to actually be honest with these injuries, instead of dodging the questions lol
@@jwill1203Tru Dat!🙃
"disgustable" 😂
Yeah I'll pass, rather have him stay here and do what he wants with full disclosure. That's not gonna happen on a national channel.
As a Dallas fan I hate the eagles with all I got but I never want to see injuries. Wishing them a good recovery and hope they’re good to go for playoffs.
As a Eagles fan we hate y all to always did😂 no love for y all fans or the team please never visit hear we are not friendly.
Can you follow-up and explain the emotional damage sustained by Eagles fans this season? Would be great to know how many years of our life we lost due to high blood pressure and stress.
boohoo cry me a river buddy, you’ve been to the super bowl twice in the last 6 years
@@cameronbrown4891is that supposed to make the incompetency of our team this year less disappointing? Everyone wants to go to the Super Bowl. Grow up
@@cameronbrown4891this was a joke. Learn humor lol
As a Philly sports fan I've been used to this. I don't get effected anymore by the failure.
We're the worst big sports market by far.
Cry eagles cry 😂
Wow, great explanation of football injuries! I’m glad I stumbled onto this channel. Thank you, DR.
I appreciate your channel, it is VERY helpful! You have a way of explaining injuries in a way that is easy to understand. Thank you VERY much!!!
You should make one on Sam Laporta, the TE for the Lions. Really curious to know what exactly happened to him..
I believed he hyperextended his knee and has a bone bruise in the same knee. Similar to Travis Kelce
Hyperextended knee and a bone bruise
Ah, alright. Thanks for the info, didn’t know. Hope he can return soon…
Tore his ACL
@@robertkitchens6341 yeah so like why are you commenting some bs when you have no idea what actually happened?
Dr. its one of those things where I love the content and expertise with which you explain what's happened to players, however you never want one of those players to be of your team, let alone two!. Thank you for your dedication to your craft and for giving a bit of hope to us down and out Eagles fans, sending love from Philadelphia.
It has to be a bat signal that goes out when a star player gets injured because it’s insane how fast you release video Brian 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love watching your videos and you breaking down the injuries. Every time there is a new video I have to watch it. Keep up the good work! 😎
Love your content! ❤
Great job! Thank you very much!
The team seemed to quit. With Jalen's finger like it is, I don't understand why the Eagles would pass a deep ball and not run the ball more. Every team know they like to pass the 9 all the time.
Coaches 😣
In terms of early downs, Eagles haven't been as aggressive with the 9 ball on early pass plays. And when they do get aggressive they try get AJ Brown to try win downfield when the defense is ready for him. Also the Eagles have a very uninspiring run game coming from shotgun looks that are just duo and power. Doesn't help Hurts has been nursing his leg all season long so he's not the best option for the run in that formation either.
I’d love to hear what you think about TJ Watt’s grade 3 mcl sprain and a guesstimated timetable. Thanks for your work, I love learning!
Grade 3 MCL Sprain may need surgery out 6-8 weeks minimum if no surgery it's generally the first MCL injury to have without damaging your acl
It's a Grade 2 MCL sprain, though.
Dont worrie Steelers will be eliminated in the wild card so watt will have plenty of time to get healthy
Thanks…appreciate you.
Hey Brian, I love watching your analysis. Would you once do a video on your thoughts on low hits in NFL? I'm thinking Tyler Higbee ACL/MCL tear where the defender got away without even a fine because the hit was legal but seems avoidable to me
Eagles had a tough ending stretch. A lot of unfortunate scenarios despite having a late "soft" schedule.
They played the Giants twice and the Cardinals. Shouldn't have been "tough" for a decent team.
@@thatllputmarzipaninyourpie3117💯
It's kind of crazy how things went from looking good for both Philly and my team, the chiefs, around the midpoint of the season where a Super Bowl rematch looked possible to now where both teams, even though we had schedules that should not have been that difficult, have now turned into potential early outs.
I hope both players will be healthy and ready for next week.
@@thatllputmarzipaninyourpie3117It's professional sports. There is no such thing as an easy game in pro sports.
@@thatllputmarzipaninyourpie3117Did you read the entire comment? The second sentence explains what they meant by a “tough stretch”:
“A lot of unfortunate scenarios despite having a late ‘soft’ schedule.”
Cowboys fan here and i hope AJ is okay.
Thats really class of you.
I dont like the Cowboys but never wish injuries on your players.
Thank for being concerned about AJ Brown Congratulations for winning the division
@@isabellglover3112an eagles fan with class? Wowwww
Congrats to Dallas even though Birds lost.
How about you explain the brain injury eagles coaching staff have. They suck.
😂
Dead ass
I have a swan head deformity of my middle finger caused by an avulsion fracture the proximal interphalangial joint. Injury occurred attempting to steal a ball from a dribbler during a basketball game. Surgical procedure for the injury.
You are the smartest sports doctor ever
Doc I have no idea what you're talking about but I appreciate and respect it. 😂
He explained this so good I think I’m ready to become a dr
Thats exactly what happened to my knee when i was younger and hurt my ACL, knee collapsed inward with my weight over top of it. So its lucky that he got out of there without a torn ACL.
Can you do a video regarding Corey Linsley? From his recent interview, it sounds like maybe an aortopathy or HCM but curious to hear your thoughts!
As a doctor, did Lions TE sam LaPorta’s injury look like a simple hyperextension or something more serious???
On twitter he said “Good chance LaPorta is done for the year” and “LCL +\- ACL. Either way almost certainly multi week-month” about it.
@@ShurimanHero idk all reports so far say bone bruise and hypertension, that should be 0-2 weeks
He is cooked thanks to Dan.
As not-a-doctor, it looks exactly how I hyperextended my knee as a teen and I had 0 structural damage but needed crutches for a week and 2 weeks before I could run again.
@@xjsnjkil2070 yep, Dan is wayyyyyyyyyyy to aggressive. No reason for his starters to be out there at all today
As an expert in injuring my mcls from hockey, I hope it's just a grade 1. He can heal fast within a week and brace it, and play well. Grade 2...missing the first playoff game is a serious reality
missing the first playoff game? so you do think that the Eagles are gonna make it against Tampa so there will be a second playoff game for them. how optimistic....
Giants Stadium Turf strikes again. So many knee injuries on this concrete field
We need a video on Stafford's concussion during the game vs Lions
I love the Bills so nobody knows how fast shit goes downhill better than I. Philly is such a good team and organization but losing 2 coordinators in one offseason is a lot to overcome and I don’t think that’s being taken into much consideration oddly enough. It seemed like a snakebitten season from the get go, even when they looked great something seemed off.
Dude I’ve been saying this since like week 3. Our team on paper is great but when you have two dimwit coordinators on both sides of the ball, talent and skill alone can only get you so far and you get out-coached. I already want this season to end for the birds bc we need some serious coaching changes and send Brian Johnson and Matt Patricia into the sun.
I think the coach needs to go as well. Spend some money and bring in better head coach. Don't like nick.
@@EaglesrtsoLostsBro, fuck it, give Bill a call and see what he can do. The Eagles roster is much better than the Patriots, so as long as he doesn't hate us too much for 52 it's worth a shot.
@@EaglesrtsoLosts idk I think we should give Sirianni one more chance. I mean he’s led us to the SB and now playoffs all things considered. Not saying that he doesn’t deserve criticism bc he absolutely does.
@VinylCreator I don't know if Bill would and how much is howie and Jeffrie willing to spend. Too much talent on the Eagles both defense and offense to drop that many games at the end of the season. Now with AJ Brown down and Hurts with a messed up finger not good. I think alot more going on the fans don't know ,but Eagles fans will always voice their opinions to the owner whether him or the coaches will like it or not. Eagles lose to Tampa Bay somebody or several coaches may and could get fired. 🤔
Happy new year eagles fan glad analytics was in drivers seat of your team.not leadership.♿♿
Hip drop tackle from the side.....Season ender for Mark Andrew's, and Tony pollard last year...The tackler slides their legs under or in front of runners legs...Nfl thought about outlawing it , before season started!
Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown get injured so doctor has something to react to. How nice of them.
Another great video 👍🏻.
"Pops"#truschoolsports🥊🥊
Because you’re a doctor what are your thoughts on the hip drop tackle??
I know it is ironic, but I look forward to these videos
As a eagle fan you gave me hope about the injuries but idk what's going on with my team
The entire Eagles team and coaching staff been suffering from sphincteritis since the 49ers game. 🤕
🤣
Nabra, this team has been struggling all season. It just imploded during the Niners game. The Niners exposed how how anemic the offensive scheme truly is. It exposed how our coordinators cannot make adjustments. It exposed how the offensive system itself is exploitable. Never in my 20 years of watching football, have I seen an offense that doesn't use hot reads to beat blitzes. Jalen get blitzed every down and the team won't even throw a screen😂😂😂. Oops, I lied, they will throw a screen on 3rd and 30. The offensive ineptitude is organizational malpractice. Unfortunately, it won't change because the organization wants controllable coaches, not good ones.
Talk to me about Juaun Jennings 3 week concussion and Arik Armstead knee and foot
My 2 cents. Injuries more likely when Offense so predictable that there are 2 tacklers on every person with the ball every play.
can you make a video on sam laportas injury today?
AJ Brown - MCL and possibly lateral meniscus....?
I would go with Volar Plate for sure on the finger.
Mcl sprain. I had the same thing in hs. No way he plays Sunday
bruh you gotta be a wizard LOL
😂
I remember when Dak hurt his thumb on his throwing hand and people clowned on him for having 15 interceptions. Lets see how this plays out.
can you go over TJ Watt’s knee injury?
The Eagles are broken. If they could fix their problems, they would. This falls on the head coach. Nick: your honeymoon coverage is over. You have to take the hit for not getting this team ready to play. Both the offense and defense is atrocious.
The difference between nba and nfl injuries is in the nba you're inside an arena but nfl you have to play injured in the cold which is extremely hard 2 do
Since the Niners beat them about a month ago, the Eagles has not been the same.
I’m an eagles fan and I feel like The 49ers took the heart out of us. Before that game the eagles were 10-1 and everyone felt they were the best team in football. But the 49ers came and completely destroyed them and since then the eagles have been playing with no heart at all
@micah4494 anybody that thinks the NFL is Legit will definitely not be betting on the Eagles. Vegas says ???
Nah, anyone with a brain could tell that the eagles have been mediocre all year. They got lucky in a bunch of their wins. Weakest 10-1 team ever. End of the season was just regression to the mean.
the eagles were underdogs during their run and super bowl victory with Foles
I didn't watch the game, because they didn't show it in my market. However, when I saw Hurts' injury in the highlights, I mega-cringed! It looked nasty/like those Olineman/Dlineman fingers!
Was this a hop drop tackle?
i had a mallet finger once, freaked me out when i saw my finger when the injury occured lol, finger till this day looks jacked up but i reckon if its a mallet finger they will probably splint it and he will play.
he was throwing on the sidelines
This was a sad week for us
Don't worry Tampa Bay gonna send y'all eagles ass home next week, then y'all can roots for y'all daddy Mr Dak Prescott
@@shakaxx4926just for yall daddy niner to smoke u guys if yall make it past the lions 💀 ironic
What do they think is gonna happen with this style of play teams are out physicaling the Eagles now big turn around from last year after being 10 and 1
Even god himself is trying to tell the Eagles to run the ball more
Should make a video on Sam LaPorta
Can you talk about Sam LaPorta on detroit lions
oooof i didnt watch this game but that clip of AJ getting tackled is going to be used to get the hip drop tackle banned next year.... (its bs ikik but its fuel for that fire imo)
Looks like a meniscus tear to me.
HURTS SZN!!!!💪🏾
those hip drop tackles should be grounds for ejection and suspension, 9 times outta 10 it results in an injury
Did he fumble before he got hurt
Y’all, this is only one man. We get other players are injured but give him a break lol.
Is hurts injury the same as Russell Wilson from 2021?
This guy could be saying literally anything and I’d believe it. He could be like “Windgardium Fingerosa” and I’d be like yup that seems legit.
I can't stomach injuries, watching sports has become difficult to watch now because any player at any moment can suffer some kind of injury that can end a career.
They need to ban this hip drop tackle
Eagles you can do it Win Win Win Win 💪💪💪💪❤️🏆🏆
That turf in MetLife is terrible 😔!
Can we get your thoughts on rookie Lions TE Sam LaPorta's knee injury??
It's hypertension and bruise probably need a brace depends how much pain he can play through
wheres the sam laporta video?
Both will be out next week!!!
Another "hip drop" too...
Barry in shambles rn
Sadly or happily depends on POV, the collapse happened well b4 the injuries. This gets to be the excise.
Wasnt just these two, there were 3 other injuries to Phily starters. This team is/has been, cooked.
Anyone that has thrown at high level knows the importance of the middle finger for spiral control and accuracy
Season was over they should have just tanked for a higher draft pick
Why isn’t there one on Justin Herbert?
He watches NFL redzone in his studio
Did AJ fumble before he got hurt
The eagles offensive playbook is so bad the players hate running them when they’re called.
Its joever for the Eagles...
Surprised you video on TJ Watt isn’t here.
Sydney Brown Torn ACL
Hurts low-key made me laugh when it happened he just put his hand up like really
This team fell apart completely going into 49ers week and then were made to look foolish during game and have never come back
I like how Brian didn't have to mention the Eagles Collapse in the title but he did anyway. The Eagles suck that much even a doctor has diagnosed it. lmfao
It doesn't matter they stink the back up qb played better than before the injury 😅
He's not missing time.
Nooooo
It look more like they quit they might got hurt but no sustainable injuries to leave the game it was more excuses to quit playing this team has lost his team at least the players are no responding
I'm a NY Giants lifetime fan, and I am delighted to know that the Eagles will have a rough time entering the Playoffs this year. I have been saying this all season about the Philadelphia team, they are extremely overrated. I wish them nothing but loss in the upcoming Playoffs as well as next season.
What kind of loser sees athletes getting injured and reacts by saying they're 'delighted' they'll have a rough time in the playoffs? Absolutely pathetic.
How is Daniel Jones doing
Guys are hurt and this guy is happy LMAO. Don’t get me wrong, this will give a slim chance to my Buccaneers but im not happy about this. You’re a usual classless giants fan
the highlight of your year was a no name scrub qb bailing his fingers up and moving his hand back and forth. id shut my mouth if i was u buddy
Is that a hip drop tackle on Brown
Ricky!? Why do you want a neck like a swan?!
they've got like 20 bones in their necks they can bend like crazy
Eagles are done and yes that game did matter but after hurts and brown both got hurt they had no chance sure hurts can play this week but his throwing is going to be off but with out brown I don’t see them making it out of the first round unless the bucs just play poorly and turn the ball over 3 times
Rub some dirt on it and get back out there…
Eagles sunken ship “titanic”
I’ll never let go jacklen hurt
Aj Brown punk out, that wasn't an injury , except to his ego after the fumble
Another hip drop tackle another injury please ban this tackle
