      I finished painting Rathalos last night, just waiting for basing material to dry. He’s a big chonky boy. The game is superb, me and my Monster Hunter group have started a campaign and we’re loving it

    Great paint job, really inspirational. Really like the way you just used 3 main pale colours all relatively similair to great effect.

    Yeah some love to the MH series, i got the Wildspire core box, Kushala expansion and the Hunters Arsenal. Waiting on The Ancient Forest. I really wanted to pledge for the MHW Iceborne project but after the Monstruos Pledge " all included monsters" they added more separately sets and the price raised up to $700 + around $130 shipping close to $ 900 easy.
    ive been reading a lot of complains and no response from the Gamefound and Kickstarter.
    i wish they were a little more communicative with the people funding. Even though i have to decide to pledge or not before December 1st. Anyway thanks a lot for making vids for the MHW minis and i gotta say that thanks to Luke (GGS) i got into making dioramas and painting figures and knowing about amazing people on youtube as you and MS paints. So wherever he is, best of lucks to him, we miss him.

      That’s a shame that they’ve not been communicating more on the KS. I only have the Ancient Forest and Hunters Arsenal at the moment but more will be arriving soon. Planning to paint everything

      @@ThePickleJar awesome!! one minor thing about the Diablos figure, is that the wings dont fit perfectly to the main body. Everything else is great. Gl and ill be waiting your vids, fellow hunter lol

    Plans to paint the characters as well? Love this paintjob, my roommate is mad into MH so this might be my chance to get them to play a tabletop game with me and then I get to paint all the little guys haha

      I’ve got 2 from the core box and 2 from the hunter’s arsenal expansion primed ready to paint as they’re the hunters my group is using. Not sure they’ll make it to a video but they’ll definitely get posted on Instagram!

    I'm not particularly a fan of MH, but those minis look superbs. That paintjob is great and the different gound cover to represent the different arcs on the base is a brilliant idea.

    Looks amazing! The base especially! I noticed when you were putting the quick dry stuff on in the next image it turned green. Did you put some paint or ink on it?

    I’ve been a fan of the Monster Hunter games ever since I bought the first one for PS2. I knew there was a boardgame, however I’m always unsure if the game itself is fun. Miniatures are cool and all, but if the game is boring you won’t ever get to play with the models. Which leads to less motivation to painting them.

    • @ThePickleJar
      @ThePickleJar  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yep, I fully agree. There are plenty of games I’ve bought for painting projects but the games themselves are meh. Can honestly say though, this is a lot of fun to play. Me and my friends are doing a full campaign play through!
