I experience severe pain in the center of my chest, through my back and shoulders, up my neck and into my jaw. I’m 70 yrs old. My doctor told me it was Gerd and suggested an antacid, although I wish he had at least checked my heart. The intense pain bends me over and I can barely breathe but I just stagger to bed, and lie down until it passes. My sympathies to anyone with Gerd.
