  • Another VERY SWEET 914 built by Renegade, powered by GM, and shifted by a lightning-fast late model Boxster S six speed transaxle. So many little tips and tricks, style points, and a great demo shot off-the-line make this video a good watch for 914 fanatics. If you have any additional questions, please check out our web site at www.renegadehybrids.com or call 702-739-8011. Thank you!

As a kid in the 80’s I used to be mesmerized by the Renegade ads in kit car magazines. So cool that you’re still doing it! For me Renegade is part of the 914 story; you’ve been around so long that the purists can’t cry sacrilege any more!

    • @RenegadeHybrids

Ya gotta know that if the "Purists" or anyone else with their nose in the air, is inclined to get bent out of shape over a "Non-Original Equipped" car (Porsche or not) then they're probably not worth the time... logic has no place in that conversation. I've looked at many 914s in the past but the condition of those cars was pretty poor. This is spectacular!! Now I just need to find a "reason" to need another car.... mmm. One of my cars that came in an estate purchase with five other cars was a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 with a V-8 conversion. The car is beautiful, black with biscuit (light tan) leather but the engine was from an 81 Z-28. It also wasn't the neatest job, ran okay but a messy job under the hood. I have other cars so it wasn't getting driven much so l had an LS crate motor installed and changed it over to a Tremec 6-speed. Now it's right! It shocks lots of performance cars at red lights. I like my stuff original but if l'm doing a V-8 swap you can't beat the LS

I used to race a 1993 RS America 911; it was super-charged to 500hp and weighed 2472 pounds. 17” wheels with 911 S breaks all around was just fabulous on the street and fantastic on the track with micky Thompson slicks. My daily drivers are a 2019 991.2 911 Turbo S and a 2013 60th anniversary Corvette 427. Both cars are amazing. Just ordered the new 2024 Mustang Dark Horse.
