Well every time I watch a roofing job of yours I learn something and one thing I have learned for sure I still don't want to do roofing.
For that time of the year we usually cut our hips with snips or other kind of scissors🍺🍺
When its cold that is probably easier

I love my womans hips!I hate roofing hips!I found an awesome trick though that works perfectly, if you do it perfectly!!!Off by a quarter inch and it wont work. But holy moly does it save time and material.Maybe I will make a video to show.
On older houses like that I’m a big fan of spray foam.
