Brings me back to the days of my older sister sneaking home a case (12 40s) of them for me and having to hide them under my bed. They were warm as hell and tasted like a pizza box but so worth it once you got passed the taste. Still my favorite but they need to be ice cold. Na zdrowie!

Some of the restaurants are beginning to sell the Craft Beers on tap and they are in excess of 3.2%. This brand of Malt Liquor I don't believe I have seen but will look for it. Thanks for the review as I am glad other people try unknown beers as well.

Have a good Christmas 🎅🎄☃️✝️🌲🎁 I wish we could get Colt 45 over here. They sold it into the 90s and it just disappeared. Shame 'cos 'it works every time' 😀 🍻
I always use old English 800 for cooking. Works great with equal part water in a pan in the smoker. Same ratio with a splash of apple cider vinegar for steaming crabs. Great cooking beer for a great price.
That 8Ball is really bad in my opinion for malt liquor, I would give it a 2.5 in all honesty, believe it or not I actually prefer Steel Reserve over olde English! it's relatively cheaper, and is 8.1%abv (I'm in Oregon) and easier to drink. i know you've done a review on it though! Wait, can everyone give the ABV in your state/country? It's 8% in Canada (Ontario), but I expected it to be the same or higher in the states, especially outside of the bible belt. I find it surprising, because it's difficult to find many beers, even craft breweries, above 6-6.5% here.
There are some states which have a ABV requirements. I know when I was in Oklahoma I could only buy 3-2 beer. They did not sell any 5.0! I guess it's depends on where you live how much alcohol is in the beers! Take Care!
I think you probably had the 6% version Skoggit. In my area it is 7.5% or O.E. 800 HG. The 7.5% is the best but I have not had the 6% either. I remember drinking JAX at the E.M. club at Ft. Sill, OK. in the Army. It was 2 bottles for 25 cents.
+Stuart Fitzsimons Could be I got a bad bottle! I use to drink that Jax on occasion myself! 2 bottles for 25 cents, that was a little while back! I can remember when a 6 pack of Hamm's was $1.99! Those were the days! Thanks for the comment! Take Care!
Very nice review, I lived in America for many..many years and drank all kinds of beer but for some reason i never got to try malt liquor, i will make an effort to get a few bottles of old english 800 and try it, thank you !
O.E's pretty damn good. I used to drink the shit religiously. After a while it started becoming pretty harsh on the stomach, it stained my teeth and my breath always had a pungent malty scent. Now I pretty much just drink bourbon, vodka, and gin. If I buy beer these days. I usually buy PBR or some sort of local IPA. I drank a 40 of OE today for the first time in a about a year and it was really enjoyable. It's just not something I'd recommend drinking very often.
Old English is a Malt Liquor a person has to acquire a taste for. I use to drink Schlitz Malt Liquor back in the day! Talking about leaving a scent! Wow! Take Care!
I never tried Schlitz unfortunately. I live in Canada and the malt liquor selection isn't very good. We have Olde English, Mickeys, Colt 45 ( Although I hear it's nothing like the American version). We have a couple Malts exclusive to Canada as well But they are god awful. There's a brand called Axehead that's brewed in Alberta It's 12% and tastes like diesel fuel. Thanks, man. You too.
They quit making the Schlitz Malt Liquor in the blue can, I have found it in the red can though and did a review on it. I have never heard of Axehead. I will look for it and if I can find it do a review on it. Thanks for the info! Take Care!
It's the location you are in and the amount of alcohol involved. I know that Oklahoma use to be able to sell only 3-2 beer. I am not sure how it is now! Take Care!

These mass-manufacturers ferment in a centrifuge similar to how crude oil is refined in a centrifuge producing various grades of combustible hydrocarbon solutions such as kerosene, gasoline, and diesel, each of which end up in various grades. Similar centrifuge fermentation...
I plan on buying 5 "40oz Old english 800" bottles. where im from it is $7.25 a bottle. how much does it take to get drunk? Will i get more drunk of just one "26oz hardcore vodka" or 5 "OE 800's". one "26oz hard vodka" cost 30$ where im from. so 5 OE's is about the same. Overall, would it be better to buy one bottle of hard vodka or 5 old english's
I don't know where you live but that is a big price to pay for a brew. As far as getting drunk, it has a lot to do with how your body handles alcohol. Some people get plastered on one beer while others it takes a couple of gallons. Good luck to you and whatever you do, don't drink and drive. Those two never mixes together. Take Care!
If you get this in the Plastic Bottle that has the "Blue When Cold" disk on the label, put it into the FREEZER for a while until literally almost frozen with ice crystals in the liquid. Ice Cold this is drinkable, otherwise not so much.
I can send you a 7.5% abv glass bottle for review if you like. I stocked up before they went to plastic. The 7.5 and what you have there which is prob 5.9% abv. Also they make OE in 12oz cans 24 oz cans. Also available are 22oz, 32oz and 40oz bottles. But with Miller going plastic, who knows what is to come. Great review!!
Big Reggie Hey Reggie, The only thing is, it's illegal to send any type of an alcoholic beverage thru the mail. I wanted to send my Dad a collectible Budweiser bottle of beer and called the post office and they told me not to do it because it was illegal. I really appreciate the offer of you sending the glass bottle. Would hate for either of us to get in trouble for something so innocent. Thanks again for the offer, it is really appreciated. Good choices there! Take Care!
Take Care!
God damn
Can't find it in ANY form now in Kansas City in 2022. I haven't seen it in almost a year.
EASILY, the best malt liquor out there.
Kind of funny you all can't get it anymore. Wonder if it might have something to do with COVID? Thanks for watching! Stay Safe & Take Care!
I get a strong taste of malt lolol lol
lol! Well I did! Take Care!
Cheers
lol...love it
I honestly miss the private stock malt liquor in the 22 oz. That stuff was soooo delicious!!
Never hear of it! Take Care!
It's not terrible if you drink it fast before it gets warm and flat.
Not sure how I got here, but this review was awesome, and so are you sir!!👊🏾👊🏾
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay Safe & Take Care!
Yo here in Alaama we get the 8.0% with the exception being in Birmingham where it's 5.9%.....How does that work??????
It's the location you are in and the amount of alcohol involved. I know that Oklahoma use to be able to sell only 3-2 beer. I am not sure how it is now! Take Care!
The Canadian version is potent. Treat it with respect.
Didn't know they had a Canadian Version! Interesting! Take Care!
Great review brother, I love seeing classy people review malt liquor. it's such a culture shock and it's hilarious
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay Safe & Take Care!
Whem I was 18-21 I stayed away from the Colt 45, but I would drink some Old English.
Personally I prefer the Colt 45 over Old English! Take Care!
I've never been so broke in my life but child support and student loan garnishing my check at once, got to pay my rent and bills this was my option LOL not that bad a taste at all, only 2 bucks for a 40 Oz ,drank 2 of them and woke up to go to work next morning Dizzy!!! LOl
I know all about that child support! It will break a man! Sometimes you have to do what you have to do! Nothing wrong with that! That malt liquor will sneak up on you! Good luck! Take Care!
Thank yOU bRO!!Your the Best!!!
You are welcome! Take Care!
Is he still reviewing
this man is invited to every grill ill ever have. what a stud. just subscribed. why do I feel like this man served?
Thanks!
Old Gold can be really good, but it seems their brewing is inconsistent. Sometimes its really really good, sometimes it's awful.
With Olde English 800 it's a hit and miss! I agree! Thanks for watching! Stay Safe and Take Care!
crip mac approves on 55 CRIIIIIIIIIIIPPPP
Thanks for watching! Stay Safe & Take Care!
pairs well with pork rinds. pork rinds cleanse the palate of that slight after taste
I sometimes eat pork skins with my beer! The two goes together like an RC Cola and a moon pie! Take Care!
That sounds like a nice combo also I will have to give that a try. Take care
It tastes gross but the kick it has, brings me back all the time. Not to mention the cheap price for ir
Kind of like that MD 20/20 I use to drink! lol! Stay Safe & Take Care!
Bro can someone send this up to me? Im looking everywhere on the internet.. eithrr its sold out or not being able to be delivered to the Netherlands..
They may not sell it where you live. Stay Safe & Take Care!
I can drink 211 for days but Old E I black out everytime. I wonder why
221 is better?
Dude I can’t find any 40s anywhere. I’m on the hunt though dude🤙🏻
Dude is smooth , great spoken American guy , old-school gentleman ,they don't make people like this anymore .The report of the week by the way good guy haha he doesn't drunk though, would be nice collab ,lmao ,love and peace ,thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! Stay Safe and Take Care
Good review. It is a good beer when you really don't feel like any of the marketed stuff. Pearl is a really good beer.
$5.45/1 Bruisky Of O.E
I used to get the HG800 back in high school, I think it had a better taste. If I drink malt liquor nowadays it is almost always Mickey's ICE.
+Paul Poisonous I like the Colt 45 when I drink a good malt liquor! Oh, those good o'l high school days! Use to drink Falstaff, Jax, Buckhorn, Schilitz yea, good times, good times! Thanks for watching and the comment! Take Care!
RUclips throws this video my way, this beer is my childhood. My dad would get ghostface drunk and fight with my mom.
Sorry to hear about your dad getting drunk and fighting with your mom. I have been there myself when I was a little boy. Not very much fun. Thanks for watching! Stay Safe & Take Care!
I haven't drank this stuff in 10 years. Found myself here just out of curiosity - I wondered how olde english rated among proper beer connoisseurs. Subscribed and liked!
Hey, thanks for the sub! Hope you enjoyed the review! Thanks again! Stay Safe and Take Care!
They make it in 22oz as well. Thanks for the info, took me a long time to find a review of the beer it’s self and not how fast you could chug it.
These mass-manufacturers ferment in a centrifuge similar to how crude oil is refined in a centrifuge producing various grades of combustible hydrocarbon solutions such as kerosene, gasoline, and diesel, each of which end up in various grades. Similar centrifuge fermentation...
I believe you there! Take Care!
Oe800 is the only alcoholic beverage i can drink i love this stuff so smooth and sweet. Just dont drink it when its flat
Thanks for your input! Take Care!
Great review mr!
Thank you! Take Care!
Take Care!
whats better? One 800 old english bottle or one kellys of wine?
skoggit for one "800 OE" it is 7.25$ but for a wine of kellys it is 9.95$. should i buy a bunch of kellys or bunch of OE's
His credit score just dropped 300 points
@@shawnhuffman9835 LOL 🤣🤣🤣! Stay Safe and Take Care!
A good review, it looks good in the glass. I dont like the clear glass bottle.
Thanks! Take Care!
i love this beer. i don't really taste much of a aftertaste with it. just a very smooth refreshing drink after a hard days work lol
Thanks for the comment and watching! Take Care!
It's like drinking piss after a long day of work
@@tonitone1160 lmao
@@tonitone1160 try steel reserve that will change your mind
If you get this in the Plastic Bottle that has the "Blue When Cold" disk on the label, put it into the FREEZER for a while until literally almost frozen with ice crystals in the liquid. Ice Cold this is drinkable, otherwise not so much.
Thanks for the info. Take Care!
This may be the best review on youtube, so genuine 😤
Thank you! Take Care!
In Oklahoma they raised the alcohol percentage to 8.99
Is that the alcohol by volume or the price of the malt liquor! lol! Take Care!
Coming from BC, the Old English is 8.0%. And being even luckier, the store's just down the hill!
Thanks for watching! Take Care!
We used to het the 40 oz Old Milwaukee and Old English. I guess cans are all you can find now.
I remember those bottles of Old Milwaukee. Don't get Old Milwaukee down here where I live. Did drink it when I was in California though! Take Care!
I saw this in the movie "Kids" and somehow I'm real curious how the taste is.
Try it and find out! Never seen the movie "Kids" will look for it! Stay Safe & Take Care!
He just needs the blunts and shorties
LOL 😂! Stay Safe and Take Care!
OMG he has no clue what he's talking about. "High Gravity." The mountains. Nothing but love, man, do what you do.
Say What?
Hope you understand. Take Care!
