Circular references in Creo Parametric and Pro/E - EAC Tip of the Week

  • This video provides a little bit of background on circular references. We'll explain a little bit about how they're created and show a better way of exploring a circular references in your designs.
    For those that may not know what a circular reference is, it is something that can be created between different models in the context of an assembly. For instance, A references B references C references A...a circle. Why is this a problem? It's like the time travelers paradox. If reference C, the time traveler, goes back in time and kills reference A, the time traveler's ancestor, then logic breaks down and you're left asking how the time traveler can continue to exist. E.g. the problem with circular references.

    I love this tip but I don't have the "Paths" tab in the Reference Viewer tool. I am using Creo 2.0 with Data Code M110. Which Version of Creo is this available on?

    i could not see path tab in my creo parametric 2.0, what to do ?
