The songs bro.
I used to watch it before going to school almost daily till i was about 5 or 6 after which it stopped streaming
Lovelyyyy.

One cartoon that was not meant for kids but it was hilarious: Kochikame
Yes I remember it but never found it on Internet
@DeaDpool same
That is my favourite
@@aarijzafeer try gogo anime

Varun, I eagerly look forward to these videos because they remind me of my late-night conversations with college friends. It's been nearly 15 years (fuck!) since I left college and the joys of those conversations have been sacrificed to work and stuff.
Courage the Cowardly Dog, anyone?

Neville getting the pun is legit cute.
Sometimes he looks like a child af. Rest of the time he is an old soul. ❤❤❤
Yeah because he is OLD.
I cheered and clapped my hands when he got the pun.
I've never missed an episode of *Dexter's laboratory* at 5:30 pm after coming from school

Dexter grows up to become Sheldon Cooper..
Young Sheldon
Damn, I found my people
BAZZINGA PUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad I grew up in the 90's (late 90's). We had such amazing cartoons!! Dexter's laboratory, power puff girls, scooby doo, Johnny bravo, captain planet, swat cats, samurai jack, ed,Edd and Eddie, codename: kids next door ahhhhhhh nostalgia 😭
P.s. Bob's burgers is amazing , Louise is my spirit animal lol
I am so happy someone said samurai jack
@Toonimation I'm afraid not :( haven't heard of it.
we in the early 2000s had the same cartoons
Love the fact that you guys are keeping your promise to post regularly.
Bas ab Giridhar ka comment aa gaya ki fir sab sahi hai duniya main.
Jonny bravo taught me how to flirt...
Thats why i am still single...☹️
Ohhhhhhhhhh dropppppp
Johnny Bravo was annoying but he was always respectful and never crossed the line.. Something to learn from him as well lol.
Areeee bhai bhai bhai😂😂😂😂

Same
Neville is so old, he probably grew up WITH the Flintstones.
Nice one

2:15 Another faceless girl was in *Powerpuff girls* , named *Miss Belum* 😂
She was a SNACK
@Gargee Basak Really?
@Gargee Basak Ya i remembered just a minute ago
It's Miss bellum... And her name was Ms. Sara Bellum.. it's a play on cerebellum(a part of brain) because the mayor was stupid and she was the brains that prevented the Mayor from doing stupid shit

I can't believe Bawa wasn't shouting BOJACK HORSEMAN at the top of his lungs! Given his persona, I thought he would have obsessed over it for at least ten minutes.

The latest good sitcom is actually a cartoon called The Looney Tunes Show
Was really looking forward to discussions on recess, kids next door, popeye, kochikame, detective conan, dragon tales, oswald, pingu, phineas & ferb and beyblade .. only to realise most of these were a little bit after your time 😭
That's 2000 stuff .. they must have transitioned to teen age or adulthood
Pingu is older
*Anybody remembers the Metal Series Beyblade ?* The one with gingka, ryuga and all....
(I know it's anime, but I had to mention it )
Dude that was the best
Bayblade: Metal Fusion
Bayblade: Matal Masters
Bayblade: Metal Fury
I remember one with Sky Ray Tysen etc
@@aarijzafeer Sky Ray Kai Tyson one was the actual original BeyBlade. Dragoon, Drawnzer, Drigger
@@yashkaushik6116 Thanks for that. I didn't realise it.
@@user-rq8gb7dx9y beyblade aired in India I believe in 2004 one year after Pokemon started airing here and it started with Tyson as the protagonist and Kai Ray Max chief as his team mates. It went really successful also because it used to come right after Pokemon which was a breakthrough phenomenon in India in 2003.
It was as influential as pubG is right now among kids.
The excitement when Neville got the "Bade meow chote meow" right !!!! I screamed with the boys and I am almost 30 years old. My husband looked at me weird.
Call Kunal Kamra and discuss road journies.
If they made indian version of Brooklyn 99, Varun would be perfect as Jake.

BRING ON KRITI SANON AND DISCUSS NEPOTISM
What's this thing with Kriti Sanon and SNG? I have seen this comment on many videos.
38:02 that "but iam from nagpur, what to do?" joke is underrated. Laughed my ass off for 10mins straight.
One of the most underrated cartoons was "Johny Quest", it would had been awesome had it been discussed. It also had an Indian character Hadji who had "Yogic" powers.
I still watch and listen it its theme song which may be probably the best themw song ever!
I'm waiting for "The Internet Said So" like I used to wait for Game Of Thrones. You guys are making Tuesday's better, one Tuesday at a time. 😊😊
42:49 Captain Planet was amazing, still can't believe it was in the 90s.
3:37 I died 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Aadar is hillarious
If you know you know 😆😆😆
Kautuk my family of 4 used to gather around the TV to watch SUMIT SAMBHAL LEGA 😊❤ My father relates to Sumit completely!❤ Not to mention the cast was UNBELIEVABLY TALENTED!⭐
Neville and KT are a good pair when it comes to talking about old stuff. It's like a bridge between my dad's gen and my generation.
The last time I felt I'm young was when Neville and KT were discussing internet in India in 90s or maybe 80s when Modi used it :p
A part 2 has to come guys. You have missed a lot of gold of the 2000s
Different podcast for Anime needed for sure!! DBZ, Beyblade, n more...
"Karenge part 2 , part3"
We've heard this before
Any Detective Conan fans in the house🙌🙌
Oh shitttttt! You have reminded me of something superb. Loved it
Fucking great show. I absolutely love it. Kinda disappointed to see it mentioned this far below.
Yep
That show was so fuckin' awesome...i'm gonna look for it now
I have recently startetd watching it's episodes and movies 😅✌️🏻
Batman animated series is arguably the Greatest Cartoon of the 90s
The writing
Characters
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil 🔥
One of the best adaptations. Back when kids were given realistic content rather than today when everyone is offended by serious vigilante based cartoons.
Ya
Mark Hamil was amazing!
I didn't have Cartoon Network growing up but my only source of cartoons were sahara tv and star utsav,
Cinderella, legend of zorro, Christopher Columbus, jungle book, Denver the last dinosaur and many others.
I had an afternoon school timing, so whenever my school got over around 6 pm, I will run back to my home for not missing on Sahara TV cartoons.
Jungle Book on DD was so awesome. Also, Batman the animated series, X-men Evolution, Dexter's Lab, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Aladdin.
Edit: There was this awesome Indian Cartoon called Gayab
I like how everytime adar mentions a cartoon they missed , varun is bro content mil gaya ek aur episode ka 🤣🤣
Death note, one punch man, samurai jack, looney tunes
I love oggy and the cockroaches very much.
I'm an animator myself and so far have worked in guru & bhole, rudra, motu patlu, shiva etc.
Courage, ben 10, Oggy & the cockroaches, the road runner show are some of my favourite ones
You guys did such a wonderful job in this podcast. It sent us on a nostalgic trip. Thanks for keeping us entertained and sane with all your refreshing content!
The podcasts just keep getting better each week. Love them
Every podcast all I notice is Varun's presence of mind his humor is something else bro 👀
I am an old soul like Neville. How do none of the others know Remington Steele? Damn these toddlers 😅
I'm a GEN Z and my father made me watch it. I don't regret it. It's awesome.
22:58 The strike anywhere matches that we saw in the cartoons was a real thing!! Copious Charlie Chaplin movies also have that. Strike anywhere matches was the norm before 1940s.
Matches could be lit up by rubbing the tip on almost anything. It became a dangerous hazard and hence they changed the design to make sure that the matches lit up only when rubbed against the matchbox rather than anywhere.
Great stuff guys !! I never missout a single episode of these!!!
You guys missed one of the best cartoon ever on Cartoon network. "Samurai Jack" . Hands down!
well what about ben 10
@@jaydeokule7955 ben 10 is good.. but Samurai Jack was ahead of its time! Best one ever!

Why their explanation for Captain Planet sounded like Shaktiman's birth
I am just so happy that these guys have started uploading 1 hour videos .

Do a episode on anime
Invite Delhi Police and discuss when to lathicharge students/protestors and when to stand with their hands folded behind a Terrorist who's about to open fire on protestors in the Nation's capital.
Do u really think they r gonna do that? Ask kunal kamra instead, he might invite someone for his show 'shut up ya kunal'.
Shut.
@aadar, gr88 episode, Turbokat in swatkats was based more on f14 and Sab Draken with it's swing wing configuration and twin vertical stabs. But you do bring a cool point as it did have a lot of internal bay weaponry like the f22.
I feel like m sitting with you guys and discussing I mean it wud be mad fun for your friends to jus sit and listen to guys talk

Jackie Chan Adventures
Super cool. I miss it bad
You guys mentioned some great cartoons but some cartoons I can remember from the late 90s and early 2000s were really really good too. Oswald was awesome, Popeye the sailor man, Looney tunes show. We also had a fantastic animation version of Jackie Chan which was awesome. Beyblade, Thomas and Friends, gransazers were really good. My favourite which you guys might not have seen was ULTIMATE MUSCLE on CN and it was damnnnn good
41:47 Aadar mentions that Simpsons episode: Its called Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore, where Homer gets transferred to India to manage an outsourcing firm.
Fun fact: Goku is voiced by a female in Japanese.
Almost every male lead is. Naruto as well. They need high pitch voices
Just a useless fact but i remember in one of the Simpsons episode the addressed why they have 3 fingers saying they were not evolved enough
Not 3, but 4. Only God has 5 fingers in the Simpsons.
Yes, I'm rewatching the podcast.

wow, Neville remembered Fireball XL5. It was one of the scariest experience for me as a kid because it was on another planet and a very claustrophobic environment. Also the big eyes of the toy figures always staring silently used to freak me out. :-)
