Beautiful watch and one I actually own myself. The blue dial is stunning. You did a great job capturing the different real colors it shows in varying conditions.
Who doesn't love a blue dial.. and this one is special. Congratulations on getting one. I have a Seamaster from the 60s with a similar stunning blue dial.
I have owned this watch for over a year.( Blue dial) I am thrilled every time I put it on. I learned today there is a 80 watch wail at my local boutique. ( About five Years)
Very nice - I love my black dial series 2 Overseas - no easy change strap system, but it's the best watch bracelet I own. It's good to see them scoring a hit.
my first ever VC was it's gold twin.. I can't stop looking at it.. it's beyond amazing.. my Rolex and Omega collection aren't going to get any wrist time anytime soon!
VC gets the deserved intention in the market. The coast (and the waiting lists in parallel) will only go up. This blue 4500v is amazing. Truly versatile with its specificities (antimagnetism, waterproofness), its quick strap change system and the robustness of its materials although refined.
Well, now it quickly goes down. From almost 70k to under 30k on the grey market and still falling. Hoping to grab a new Overseas for 20k in a few months 🤗
@@CayenneTurboDriver Everything else also went down. Not just VC Overseas. You can have your RO 15400 other than blue dial, for a low premium compared to the list price. It's far from high, the wave has passed. And it still remains to be proven that this was really sold at previous unrealistic prices...I mean who paid for his steel Daytona 50K and so on?? Not geniuses anyway.
@@toproll8514 Didn’t deny that other brands fell too. But as you wrote „will only go up“, I think a correction was needed. Btw I don’t like the 15400 very much, I think the 15500 looks way better (that’s why I bought it).
Bloody wonderful and then some. Congratulations on probably one of best pieces now in the collection, not just the dial for me but that bracelet has got to be the best out there period. Where next? Well you flashed an image of it on screen the Historiques American 1921 in white gold would be my choice. Perhaps not as quirky as the Joker but a watch designed for drivers is surely a must?
Amazing watch and great review. 👍 With Vacheron Constantin seeing is truly believing. That blue version and the way it changes in the sunlight, along with their stunning white gold variant, which appears very light grey, are eye catching & spectacular and near impossible to obtain. 👌
Great vlog great watch they are one of the best in the business the overseas is my Grail watch hopefully when things get a little better I will get one enjoy yours. Enjoy
Both your watch channel and your car channel are excellent. Always educational, high standard and entertaining. Thanks for the hard work and consistancy.
The more I watch this video the more grows my appreciation of my lovely iron walker automatik! Especially remembering howmuch I paid for it and what I received in return!
Always like your videos. Thank you. Just got the Overseas Chronograph 5500V with black Dial. I love it …!!! One of the best Chronograph in industry…!!! Hello from USA
Congrats, this is a beautiful watches. I am expecting the same one in a couple of weeks. Not sure about no more new names on the waiting list, to my knowledge they still take names, but it is boutique only, AD’s aren’t able to provide the blue one. Thanks for sharing.
When did you go on the waiting list. Luckily the sales advisor will be able to get me one within a year. Apparently the time line is from 2-3 years of you are on the no deposit waiting list...
@@AMF_1 Hi, I placed my name in March, they announced a delivery around August, they called me in June for payment, the ETA is mid July, that is really good in my opinion. I must say the communication is outstanding, VC is at a complete other level.
I've been told it will possibly take 2 years+ although the sales advisor as promised to do all he can. I think the waiting list must have grown exponentially after you were added to the list. Out of interest what boutique did you register with ? Thanks
Hi Damian, thanks for the thorough review on the 4500V and just like you, I couldn't believe the depth of the blue dial until I saw it fit myself last year. I put my name down on the list and as you said, one can no longer do that now. Well, I'm collecting mine tomorrow and I can't wait for the experience. I'm sure I'll look at Rolex very differently after tomorrow.
@@TheWatchGuysTV Damian, it was much better than I had expected! The watch is simply gorgeous and that dial is indeed something to behold. The Maltese Cross pattern on the bezel and the bracelet are of perfect proportions, of course I am biased but I dare to say they're of much better proportions compared to Mk 1 and Mk2. Thanks again for your review, mate, it's been an inspiration to me getting this watch.
I have a select few watches on my list that I'd like to own one day and this is right at the top, along with a Reverso. The latter is definitely a more realistic option for now but I'll make both happen. 😁
Such a stunning and classy watch! The name alone conjures up thoughts and feelings of sophistication. Question though, did you consider the world time version at all? Thanks
This is indeed a beautiful watch. I have never seen this blue dial in person. How does it hold up in outdoor light/ bright sunlight? Any issues with too much glare/reflection from the dial or crystal coming through? Thank you for the great video and insight to the history of this amazing brand.
stunning watch and love the quick release strap mechanism. What are your thoughts on the upcoming grand Seiko SBGY007 Omiwatari? looking to order one next month when released.
I’m afraid this is just not good enough. This was was not even on my radar and now….I really want one! Love the bracelet/straps genius! Have to say i prefer the steel but all 3 options are great. Please stop adding watches to my wishlist. (Keep up the great work)
I believe I'll never be able to comprehend this kind of steel watches being expensive just because, they're beautiful of course, but calling them "good value" is kind of a stretch (not taking into account the crazy secondary market of course)
@@TheWatchGuysTV I would love your opinion on the situation I am in. I was thinking about which to go get a Vacheron Overseas Stainless Black Dial or a Rolex Submariner No Date? I like the Overseas because it's part of the holy trinity, prestigious, very lowkey, subtle watch, the caseback is amazing, different strap options, some unique / rare, you mean business. But I am concerned that if I do get one I might "baby it" because it is a luxury watch. I like the Submariner because of how durable and robust it is. With the reputation of Rolex and the Submariner I know it won't fail me in any condition. I can bang it around and know it will hold up, I don't know if I can say that about the Overseas. A couple things I don't like about the Submariner is that it is everywhere, and most copied watch, and tend to be the stereotype of "is it real". I feel like it is attached to the Submariner.
Its a waiting game since VC only produces maybe 20,000 watches total for all their lines. Rolex…. 800,000-1,000,000. The watch is popular and they only make so many a year
It’s amazing how in the last 36 months everyone in the world can suddenly afford to levy demand > supply for Rolex, Patek, AP, VC, some Lange, FP Journe… it goes on.

I completely understand your love for the blue dial watches but this doesn’t feel like it adds anything to your collection. Wouldn’t be surprised if you flip this in a year’s time. Good review on this stunning and versatile watch.
Great video of beautiful watch. I only managed to put deposit for the black dial recently as blue dial is currently two years wait list where I live.
Thanks
Incredibly informative review. This watch is the goat. I tried to get one and was basically told to piss off you are a legend💪🏻
Thank you
Such a stunning and classy watch! The name alone conjures up thoughts and feelings of sophistication. Question though, did you consider the world time version at all? Thanks
I didn’t because I already have the Omega Aqua Terra
One of my absolute favorite watches. Some day…maybe.
Always believe in your dream
Stunning watch! but is it just me or is the date not aligned straight in the date window??
Congratulations. Absolutely stunning timepiece.
Thanks
Lucky to just receive the blue dial Dual Time. The Overseas collection is special and yet so underrated compared to AP and Patek.
Congratulations

Beautiful watch
👍👍
Iwc have had quick release bracelets for years
how secure is the interchangeable strap system
Very
