Have you ever sent out a poll to your audience to see what the average age, income and portfolio size your average audience is? I’m 47 with ~500k in 401k. A lot of your videos use a portfolio of multiple millions, which according to statistics is only about 1% of the population. Would love to see example of smaller portfolios and how to be Financially Independent Recreational Employment. For me I’m planning on retiring from my $150k/yr career at 57 and start working part time in a brewery until 62. Hopefully, with my current plan will allow it.

I don't have a financial planner and my wife and I are sitting around 1.9 million at 41. I think our number is 3.6 million in order to maintain our lifestyle. Hoping 5-7 years from now we can hit that. I may change my mind when working is an option and not a requirement. But right now I can't wait to get away from the grind.

I'm 55 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the market and have witnessed people who played the game right and retired early. Some claimed they started very small, but their portfolio grew over time. I do have a significant amount but I’m unsure about which strategies or approach to take in order to achieve good returns. I'm open-minded and would appreciate any help or guidance

I was once in your position. I started investing earlier this year,,, with a start of 30k. I made my first 100k USD last month. Today, I have a decent $260K nest egg. The right investments will change your life. I should retire soon as long as things remain this good. My only regret is not starting earlier.

How did you manage to achieve that level of growth?

Diversification did it for me. I ventured into real estate crowdfunding, stocks, and the digital market, with the help of my CFA.
You need a CFA who can assist you in managing your portfolio while diversifying your investments

Robert Carlos Wright is my CFA... His expertise in market knowledge and asset management is truly top-notch. Do your research, google his full name you'll find his details on IAPD or SEC

Retirement ready is about finding out what your expenses will be in retirement and then have the retirement assets to cover those expenses (for the rest of your lives). A lot of factors and variables go into both sides (expenses vs assets to cover those expenses). And then, what is your comfort level when you reach that balance... The problem is that nobody knows how long they will live and what (unexpected) expenses you may run into in retirement. It is a complex balance and a lot of people will end up working too long because they are afraid that even if they do have this balance there is still that unknown.

You’re absolutely correct that work hits a lot different when it’s a choice and not a need. I love my part-time retirement job!

It doesn’t matter how old you are, you are forever your parent’s child. In that context it’s a descriptor of personal relationship, not a legal or practical description.
