Reminds me on few QSO to Ireland and England the other day on 40 meters with plenty of wire turned around a broom stick with 10W from a racal mil.manpack radio. It was a TRA 9xx or so, also known as syncal 30. I placed the radio on the kitchen table , the broom stick secured with a wedge to keep it between table an ceiling. The old racal radio got an internal aerial tuning unit, so it was easy to match the piece of wire around broomstick . It did marvelous good job. But your 20 cm arial topped it all! How will this work on 11 meter ? I need one of this antennas, i have a usdx radio for qrp, i want to use 10 and 20 and maybe 30 meter... maybe even 40. How much will it cost to make antenna for those bands ? 73 from Norway.

Absolut der Hammer! Das ist genau, was mir am Amateurfunk gefällt. Vieles ist möglich und man muss es einfach mal probieren. Klappt es dann ist es einfach fantastisch. HAM Spirit der mir absolut gefällt. Mit einfachen MItteln das Optimum erreichen. Genau mein Ding.

On a 1/4 I can reduce the power -36dB and reach him. So the next vid I will reduce the power to a few mW on a 1/4.
