In this video I will take you step by step on how to paint birch tree's with 3 techniques that are easy and inspiring, using 3 different methods and brushes, plus a palette knife..

Brushes: Size 8 and 1" Bristle brush flat, Flat Synthetic chiseled edge brush, Filbert brush, Fan Brush and small round or liner brush..

Allison, I really enjoyed seeing how you did these birch trees. The only thing that frustrated me a bit was that in the very front - originally the large tree was 2 branches.....but you filled it in. I preferred it to dissect....is that okay to do that or was there a reason you made it one big tree? Thanks, Caroline
I wanted a bigger tree in front to create distance in the backround, and make the other trees look further back...I hope that helps...You can dissect it..

Thanks for the commentary, several videos were just music and I still wasn't' sure what to do.
I do commentary video's, time lapse, and music behind the painting without me talking so you can just watch, if you find a video without me giving you instructions let me know and I will send you the link to the step by step commentary video tutorial...
