What a great trick! I use blue tape in watercolor, but I never would’ve thought to use it for acrylic.

I am in the middle of a painting and thinking of adding these trees hope it turns out good
Haven't tried yet but I will.
Grazie grazie!!
Nice one, thx 😊
You're welcome 😊
Awesome technique! Thank you Laura- could you show us how to do the background?
i have lots of background/acrylic blending tutorials :)
Great Idea! My paint always bleeds through tape unless I paint a thin layer of varnish for exmaple over the edge of the tape. How come your lines are already crispy?
Wow! Looks 3 D!
How did you get the background so clean with the birch trees?❤
i have acrylic blending tutorials that can help :)
2 questions. 1. What colors did you use for the background? 2. What type of tape did you use? I'm surprised it didn't rip the paint off.
this was a long time ago, i dont remember what i used for the background sorry :( the tape is scotch blue painters tape
I just came over from Instagram. Even Pine trees are not perfectly straight.
What was the last brush you used for details? Can you please tell me?
That's a liner brush from the Daco Fine Detail set :)
Question, if I paint on thick paper, will this work also with the tape?
i am not sure
👏👏👏👍👍👏🍀☀️☀️
