After all that nice work you did to get the old and dirty transmission fluid, you didn't care use the same container to pour the new fresh and clean fluid and gets contaminated ! I don't get it...
It’s not a big deal. It’s just a little bit of dirty ATF. Let it drain for five or 10 minutes and there’s very little left. It’s a great technique if you’re trying to eliminate guest work on how many ounces to put back in just marked the old container fill it up with the new and there’s no calculations necessary
This Highlander has capacity of 8 qtrs., so basically you just changed half of it, diluting the old fluid with a new. Does it really make a difference?
If I change 3.5 qt that means changing 40% of fluid and if drive car about 2 weeks let fluid mix with another fluid is inside and drain will increase better quality ?
Why are you doing everything out of order? You made this video very confusing.
105F, your device was in C that’s why it was so hot
Scan gauge was in Celsius, that's between 43 and 47 degrees. Or 103 Fahrenheit.
You did it wrong.
Temperature window is 35÷45 ⁰C and you computer shows 70 ⁰C.
At the beginning of the video you said it was a flush 🤷🏽♂️that was just a drain and refill. Thanks anyway!
I think if you are using celsius it should be between 35C -- 45C or 95F -- 113F..
I gravity feed mine when filling eliminates the need of a pump. Pumps are just messy and fluids get lost in it.

Great vid!👍🏼 did a simple fluid change. Would like to do at least one more change - how long/ how many miles b4 second drain? 2011 highlander. Thx!
I would say every 50k is better
U don’t want to follow this guy

I don't get it. Why at @12:40 you drain some fluid?
Because at the recommended temperature, the fluid will expand enough to drain out at the right amount.
How expensive are, those containers ?
What year is this Highlander?
You drained the swamp.
This guy did lousy job and make its so difficult! I do my Lexus RX350/2015 take 2qts and Toyota Camry SE 2017 take 2qt of WS transmission fluid
