After everything that general has done, I’m seriously looking forward to seeing the look on his face when he finds out the truth behind everything and realizes he made a terrible mistake.
I think this was the scene where he started realizing that he was making a mistake. He was prepared to capture an invader and interrogate it by any means necessary, and maybe even for the possibility of the captive breaking out, and having to fight it to the death to defend Earth. He wasn't prepared to see that his captive was just a confused young man who was as terrified as he was, not of him, but of the fact that his own people were this violent and destructive.
Can’t tell if this is setting on Zod, Brainiac, or Both, but I do feel Bad for Clark witnessing this.

Old but honestly that’s the best kind of stories for series like these. Of characters that were made damn near a century ago. Not so much the AO3 aspect but the part a fan that got to retell the story sticking to the source material and has a passion for their work.
It’s General Zod, before he and His Allies was punished and Banished to the Phantom Zone for His Crimes against Planets and Staging a Coup on Krypton.
I don´t know if its zod or one of his henchman.
But Zod is defiantly shown in the series.
The classic they will kneel is Zod through and through.
I think that burst was just Krypton exploding

There is also Lobo, who is one messed up dude who roames around the galaxy on his motorcycle, causing mayhem, and drinks in space bars but he has a sense of humor! I cannot wait to see Lobo in My Adventures With Superman!

Mehn. Not on The kryptonian invasions side but you couldn’t take down one army base! The end of krypton really took them by surprise but still! Always have at least one man in the field.

The symbol was brainiacs. To be honest, they’re doing so much retcon stuff and dimensional shenanigans these days they’re most likely coming up with something new altogether
It’s probably both. Zod and Brainiac working together to go against the man of steel only to find out that Brainiac orchestrated a planet destroying genocide.
Brainiac is a kryptonian here. And Zod is the only survivor except Clark and Kara.
