- My Adventures with Superman Episode 10: Superman destroys the Kryptonian ship that awakened once he got infected with Kyrponite, the very thing he uses to destroy the ship. Jor-El saves his son and passes him the message to "live".

Everything about this was exactly what we needed to see. From Superman re-affirming that when people are in danger, he's going to help them even if it means that he could probably die; to him and Lois sharing a tearful kiss; to Jor-El's hologram fighting alongside his son, to Superman POWERING THROUGH THE KRYPTONITE to save the day, to Jor-El affirming that whatever else his people are, he sent his son to Earth to live free and happy.

Glad that Superman would risk Kryptonite poisoning just to save Earth. Plus, even an inexperienced Superman is smart enough to move the danger away from civilians before trying anything potentially destructive. It's sad that Clark still doubted his father Jor-El, even when he clearly helped him stop the Brainiac machines. If it wasn't for Jor-El, Superman would have definitely died, so I hope that Clark at least realizes that maybe he was wrong in thinking that his father sent him to earth to invade. Jor-El sent Clark to earth to survive.
Here’s what I imagine how this manages to come back into play: Braniac is on the ship, and is clearly aiding in the invasion. It’s likely that within the debris, some of the technology and one of those drones lands in the Antarctic, and as a result, Braniac is the one to build the fortress of Solitude, and Superman will end up discovering it and Braniac in the process. He would’ve been helping the earth defend against this threat by now, and could’ve been picking up Kryptonian more and more as he does so. And to top it off, when Braniac was rebuilding and reloading all the data it had on Krypton, it could’ve ended up saving the holomemory of Jor-El, and he could end up trying to fight against Braniac the whole time. This invasion plot line could really work.
This invasion is way out of character for Jor-El, but Brainiac isn't the traditional conquest type. Brainiac scans and imprisons worlds for his collection. This invasion was Zod's doing.
Although it also shows that kryptonites effect on superman is what ever the hell the writters wants.

This is like the coolest side of OP Superman. This was an awesome scene to end the season on.
If Kara comes to Earth, maybe she’ll be able to explain everything to Kal.
She’d probably be speaking Kryptonian tho
A few seconds of super speed sign language after few minutes to demonstrate a vocalization to sign language (since the speed of sound is still a thing except for Speed Force users) would be an easy way to get Kara speaking heavily accented English quickly, and Kryptonian for Clark.
Thinking back on it the ship was activating a defensive program. It began to reactivate the moment the Kryptonite was exposed
He knew what it was going to take.
And what it would take out of him.
He knew what the cost was going to be
and that he was going to have to pay it.
He did it anyway.
Because he's a HERO.
And that's what true heroes do.

That or they really just wanted to rip off viltrumites from invincible by effectively erasing part of the driving force to Superman’s backstory and just make his race look more like a bunch of arses I guess.
But that’s just me burning salt on when shows want to pull a ‘dirtier’ Simpsons maneuver to look more relatable to some other popular media.
@@BladeSerphthe difference seems to be that the viltrumites are wholistically oriented toward warfare and Conquest as a people, whereas we see some indication that zod is at the head of this invading force.
Kryptonians in the 90's DCAU had their expansionist conquering phase (aliens everywhere were still afraid of them even by Superman's time), but they universally decided to return to Krypton and destroy their space fleet, remaining on Krypton and Argo, whether by choice or treaty. DCAU Zod wanted a return to the glory days before he was Zoned.

Superman pick up that kryptonite knowing that it hurts him and probably thinking would this kill me but doesn’t matter, I’m going to push through it and use all my strength and at the same time no destroying or even living a huge mess, this is amazing !!!
That little droning noise that plays at 1:50 and then later whenever he reaches the heart of the ship is so dope. I wish they played it a couple more times when he was struggling with the kryptonite, it really gives off the feeling of pushing through something that seems unbeatable. Overall really good music this season.

I would like to see how Red Kryptonite would affect Sups in a future episode since that stuff has unpredictable effects on The Man Of Steel. It had turned him evil, turned him into a lion, a humanoid ant, an gorilla, a human King Kong, etc. It would be intresting to see!

Okay so now, that "computer" transform in a really good chunk of Kryptonite so maybe some episode will involve Task force X gathering all the shard has a contengincy for Superman.
I find it more random that kryptonite now suddenly affects machines and be an entire plot device resolver by simply being ‘present’
Not touching or being injected into the power source of the object, just being in visual distance that could have yards of distance from it and somehow breaks up way faster then it affecting Superman himself.

Watched this at friend’s home with subtitles. Jor-EL says something about getting the Kryptonite to the ship’s “heart” and doing what he needed to do. Also I think Jor is learning English from Clark.
