    Great to share your journey. Gives weight to the old adage that "practise makes perfect". The Camel is glorious and has inspired me to move away from my WW2 comfort zone for my next build. Look forward to seeing lots more.

    Congrats on 7 years MW👏🏻 yours was the first channel I came across when looking at getting back into the hobby and your Eduard 1/72 Desert Babes Tornado did it for me to have a crack, so thanks for that. All the best for the future and good luck at university 😁👍🏻

    Hey man, I started modelling 10 months ago and really want to start a channel, but I don't know how to start, if you could give me some tips on it I would really appreciate it :)
    Also you made great progress in these 7 years!

    • @ModellingWeekly
      @ModellingWeekly  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hey! My two top tips that I give to everyone are 1. Clear, bright video with good framing, and 2. Good audio - with those two baseline things in the bag, you're pretty much set. Once someone starts watching and realises that the video and sound quality is good, they'll inherently focus on the model more, and you can therefore keep their attention for longer. I'd recommend starting off with some popular kits, or new releases, so you can get a few early hits 👍

    Congratulations on 7 years. What would you do differently in your first year if you could do it over?

    • @ModellingWeekly
      @ModellingWeekly  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! I'd probably nail my lighting quality from the get go as a priority - it would have made the video quality a lot better in turn! I probably would have also started having a crack at voiceovers from a much earlier stage :)

    • @scaleffect
      @scaleffect 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@ModellingWeekly thank you. Lighting is an issue for me, not only for videos, but in general, so it needs to be improved.

    I disagree. Camel is #1. MiG-21 is great but the Camel looks much more natural. Also, please consider leaving affiliate links to the model/tools/paints...etc you use in videos in the description. Could be useful.
