This was a song to showcase Kiske's powerful voice and has a lot of requirements just not in Deris' bag o' tricks. While Kiske is an Eagle, Deris is a serpent. The Eagle dazzles with its technical beauty and brute strength. The serpent on the other hand does not have all the natural ability of the Eagle, but is cunning and uses every ounce of what he does have. No matter how crafty the serpent is though, he will never be an Eagle, the serpent can only be himself, and that is alright with me.
Best way to describe this is sad..... andi deris is a great singer but this song is definetly not for his voice... secondly... this is written by kai... playing song weiki wrote is one thing, but to play march of times is riding on the old band members effort. Según mi opinión es una lata escuchar a Deris en canciones que son clásicas y que estén mal ejecutadas, en ese caso que mejor se dedique a cantar sus canciones y punto. Kiske creo que no lo haría mal en cantar las canciones de Deris o no recuerdan a Dickinson cantando las canciones de Blaze Bayley y de Paul Di' Anno, nada de mal no? pero a Blaze las de Dickinson... me parece la misma historia. Deris is a fantastic singer. I think since half of the line-up from the hold Helloween is gone, they should concentrate on Deris material rather than playing the same songs from the Keeper albums. After watching "High Live", you know Deris is good. Every Deris album has been excellent, especially the new one. They just really need to stop playing songs from the Keeper albums. But hey, Hail Kiske, Hail Deris, hail Helloween!

well, kiske recorded it originally. But I think that Deris tries his best, I mean he has to sing most of Helloween songs, including keepers era.

Curti, alguns fãs dessa banda são chatos pra caralho, comparando 2 vozes completamente diferentes e decidindo qual é melhor, q porra é essa. O Deris não consegue cantar músicas do Kiske, como o Kiske canta, assim como o Kiske não ia conseguir cantar Solo Survivor, ia ficar bizarro, entre tantas outras música da fase do Deris. Existem fãs do Helloween, q curtem os 2 vocalistas, e fãs do Kiske, q só endeusam esse cara, pelo jeito.
São iguais aos fãs do Iron que só enxergam o Bruce kkkkkk. Engraçado que a carreira do Kiske pós Helloween foi pífia, não lançou nada que presta e vive de dois álbuns fodas que gravou com a banda nos anos 80.

sonnic1995 Pues en realidad, Kiske tendrá una voz espectacular y todo eso, pero en realidad el odio a Deris es tonto o infundado, cuando la culpa es de los fans o llamados de forma vulgar, Kiskeliebers, si te das cuenta los sets de Helloween de mediados de los 90 eran impecables, la única canción compuesta por Hansen que tocaron (sin contar "Ride the Sky") fue Future World, pero los mismos Kiskeliebers al repudiar a Deris obligaron a la banda a tocar canciones de los Keepers, pero eso empeoro la situación, haciendo que odien más a Andi y que la banda no progrese en sus sets. Canciones como A Handful of Pain, We Burn o Falling Higher se han tocado, son rolones, pero la gente solo quiere o solo sabe de los Keepers. No entiendo por que, si Andi que ya lleva 20 años en la banda, le sigan llorando a otro cantante. Casos como el de Shawn Drover de Megadeth (ha durado 10 años en la banda, recomendo a Chris Broderick, hizo que Ellefson regresara), lo repudien por no tener "feeling" y le lloran a Nick Menza, el de Craig Goldy de Dio (literalmente, la mano derecha de Ronnie, técnico y sencillo) le han tirado mierda por su tono de guitarra o su forma de tocar, por no tocar como Campbell, o el de Blaze Bayley ex Iron Maiden (grabo uno de los mejores discos de la doncella y tiene discos que muchas nuevas bandas envidiarían) nunca gusto por la forma de cantar los temas de Dickinson, ellos y muchos más no podran superar a los "iconos" por mejor que sea su trabajo. No se si me he dado a entender.

When everyone commented this video back in 2011, defending each one their favorite vocalist, I think nobody thought that in 2019 Andi and Michael would be singing together as Helloween, better than ever.
Andi Denis and his cabaret vocals have killed this band many years ago. Still some good songs musically in the non kiske/hansen time but the singing is abysmal

Curti, alguns fãs dessa banda são chatos pra caralho, comparando 2 vozes completamente diferentes e decidindo qual é melhor, q porra é essa. O Deris não consegue cantar músicas do Kiske, como o Kiske canta, assim como o Kiske não ia conseguir cantar Solo Survivor, ia ficar bizarro, entre tantas outras música da fase do Deris. Existem fãs do Helloween, q curtem os 2 vocalistas, e fãs do Kiske, q só endeusam esse cara, pelo jeito.
São iguais aos fãs do Iron que só enxergam o Bruce kkkkkk. Engraçado que a carreira do Kiske pós Helloween foi pífia, não lançou nada que presta e vive de dois álbuns fodas que gravou com a banda nos anos 80.

no soy fanatico de helloween por lo tanto ninguno de los 2 vocalistas es mi preferido, pero hay gente que no entiende el porque muchos vocalistas llegan a mas agudos que otros, es de suponer que si la voz de kiske es mas aguda al hablar cantando va a ser mas aguda que la de deris deris es baritono tenor su voz al hablar es muy gruesa, kiske es contratenor su voz es mas aguda.
por eso es que deris tiene que forzar mas para las notas altas. kiske es contratenor voz super aguda. es dificil?

No se como lo defienden a muerte, si quieren odiar a kiske, odienlo por preferir otros géneros, pero no me vengan a decir que esto supera a Kiske, ni en mil años amigos míos

sonnic1995 Pues en realidad, Kiske tendrá una voz espectacular y todo eso, pero en realidad el odio a Deris es tonto o infundado, cuando la culpa es de los fans o llamados de forma vulgar, Kiskeliebers, si te das cuenta los sets de Helloween de mediados de los 90 eran impecables, la única canción compuesta por Hansen que tocaron (sin contar "Ride the Sky") fue Future World, pero los mismos Kiskeliebers al repudiar a Deris obligaron a la banda a tocar canciones de los Keepers, pero eso empeoro la situación, haciendo que odien más a Andi y que la banda no progrese en sus sets. Canciones como A Handful of Pain, We Burn o Falling Higher se han tocado, son rolones, pero la gente solo quiere o solo sabe de los Keepers. No entiendo por que, si Andi que ya lleva 20 años en la banda, le sigan llorando a otro cantante. Casos como el de Shawn Drover de Megadeth (ha durado 10 años en la banda, recomendo a Chris Broderick, hizo que Ellefson regresara), lo repudien por no tener "feeling" y le lloran a Nick Menza, el de Craig Goldy de Dio (literalmente, la mano derecha de Ronnie, técnico y sencillo) le han tirado mierda por su tono de guitarra o su forma de tocar, por no tocar como Campbell, o el de Blaze Bayley ex Iron Maiden (grabo uno de los mejores discos de la doncella y tiene discos que muchas nuevas bandas envidiarían) nunca gusto por la forma de cantar los temas de Dickinson, ellos y muchos más no podran superar a los "iconos" por mejor que sea su trabajo. No se si me he dado a entender.
Rafael Cisneros te fuiste muy lejos, mucho que leer, si lo leí pero mucho de eso queda volando y no viene al caso, pues mira amigo así como hay "kiskebeliever" hay "derisbeliever" de todo hay fan boys que defienden a muerte y odian a muerte, para todo, yo únicamente dije que no se pongan a decir que kiske canta mal, que usa mucho vibrato y de mas excusas simples que buscan nomas para tirar insultos, por que es un vocalista excepcional, como compositor ya es otra historia
sonnic1995 Jamás mencione nada acerca de que Kiske fuera mal cantante, es más con mencionar que su forma de cantar es menos pomposa que la de Bruce Dickinson, el odio hacia Deris ha sido formado por los mismos fans que obligan a la banda tocar temas de los Keepers, además a pesar de todo Deris si es muy buen vocalista, no tiene el TONO de Deris pero sabe modular su voz. Aunque a mi se me hace muy exagerado idolatrar a Kiske solo por 2 albums. Es triste ver como ponen tonterías hasta en vídeos de la carrera solista de Deris.

you are right on so many things my friend....but Kiskie Cannot sing as he was singing at his helloween days...NOT at the same tone for sure...Respect to Andi,but in this world as it seems,only few got real balls...one of them is the mighty DIO (R.I.P.) and B.Dickinson..
The 2nd one is the best of all...His performance is Unique !!!!! Running and running and singing... and he is older than all of them!!!
