    Three days on this and two other of your stiff neck and shoulder exercises. -sharp pain and tension in my left trapezius which i have had for literally 6months and tried so many things to relieve. Already almost gone. Helping with postural alignment too. These somatic exercises are quite simply beautiful and miraculous! Thanks for this channel you explain so well and clearly 😊😊😊

    I don't like titles .🙃
    Deceiving this was very helpful for more then just the neck.
    I did not feel my neck being tight , but, I am happy I did it..
    Thanks again

      Titling the videos is quite tricky. Most of the movements will provide benefit to more than just one area but I also need to keep the titles short so it's a bit of a balancing act.

      It must be i guess you would always know what the person might need at the time they do the movement.

    What the difference neck strain, tension,or stiff neck in your videos, Colm??

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  2 года назад

      Different starting positions allow for different variations. The difference become evident by practicing them.

      I guess I practice to many different movements.
      I still don't know what does what.

      I do understand that is different, and that need help understanding more, STILL. Using the trunkdoes help move my neck.

    Hello Sir
    How did I know I need to do neck release or shoulder release for tight neck?thank you Sir

    • @LearnSomatics
      @LearnSomatics  4 месяца назад

      You will usually need to do both. Neck affects shoulders and shoulders affect neck.
      Try this sequence below, it will free your shoulders and in turn your neck
